Chapter 197 - Sky will be suspected

Sky looked at men who were sitting on the couch. Seeing their reaction Sky started to think she again jumped to a new problem.

"Brother Jai, Why am I so unlucky? In B city, Unknowingly I offended the as*hole local gangster. A few days back, I had to leave dinner because armed men entered the mall. Then I went to the mall which was attacked. I called the manager of the resort who is a mole. Why do I get into problems all the time?" Sky wailed tugging Jai's sleeves.

"B city local gangster? I will ask about that later." Jai had no idea about it. Loran puffed his cheeks looking at her. Sky covered her face started crying inside, ' Stupid. Idiot. Duffer... '

Sam who entered the room, gave a sarcastic remark. "You don't have such intelligence. Anyway, you are a victim now."

"But what my little sister is saying is right. If that attack is related to that manager, she will be suspected." Jai gritted his teeth looking at Sam and asked.

Sky spoke before anybody could answer, "Sam, can you remove my call log from his number?"

Everybody was speechless. Sky lowered her head and spoke, "I just asked. I haven't done anything so there is nothing to worry."

"Ms.Sky, Don't worry, Military intertwined so nothing will go wrong." Sam assured.

'Military Military Military Military. Why they came in my life?' Sky frustration peaked.

"Exactly, Why military intertwined? Isn't that attack comes under city cops? Why will the military reach the mall so soon? And why am I in the military hospital under a top doctor? How am I linked to military people?..." Sky asked on and on.

Everybody heard her heap of questions to which even they had no answers, Looking at her confused expression, they didn't know how to answer.

"Brother Jai, I think my brain stopped working. I am not able to understand anything. How about a PET scan or MRI or CT or all? I think I will go mad at this rate." Sky lowered her head and messed up her hair.

Five looked at her not knowing whether to laugh or cry. Jai stopped her action and helped her to tidy her hair.

Sam sat on the chair next to her bed, "Ms.Sky, relax. Relax. Take a deep breath and breath out." Sam stretched his words as Sky followed him with a frown.

She repeated thrice and then Sam asked, "You know about the confidentiality of military right?"

Sky nodded at him.

"All you have to know is, you are also being protected by the military. If your life is in grave danger, they will take action like what happened yesterday or we will be there with you."

Sky was about to ask something, Sam continued, "Why they are protecting you is still a mystery. Until they come front and tell us, We can't know. You can consider this as our incompetence."

Sky's frustration changed to amusement. "Ohh, Anyway you guys aren't that incompetent." Sky patted on Sam's arm like consoling.

'Dumb woman, I'm comforting you, Not You to Me.' Sam cursed her in his mind.

"So the different bullets sound and lots of boots sound were from the military soldiers and they brought me here. Right?" Sky asked in her ever so calm nature as if she wasn't the one who reacted strongly.
