Chapter 239 - I hope you can manage

Sky hesitated before saying, "Mr.Milton, Let's talk in my office."

Joe smiled and followed her. Four men's speed was the same as Sky which attracted double attention than usual. Seeing onlookers were increasing, Sky's head started throbbing.

"You guy's move ahead, I will come with Loran." Sky told to other three.

Sam remained silent when other two replied in unison, "No hurry"

Sky felt like the elevator was miles away, She tugged Loran, "Can you carry me to the elevator?"

Since she was wearing a dress, Loran carried her in princess style and strode towards the elevator.

After entering the elevator, Sky asked Loran in the lowest voice possible, "Do I look fat?"

Due to her maxi dress, reflection on elevator made her look little fat than usual as good physique men stood around her.

Loran shook his head, "Why?"

She pulled him down and whispered in the ear, "You four look so fit, I must have looked like a baby elephant. Many were looking at us."

The other three men chuckled lightly. Even though her voice was low, they heard her clearly.

Sky gritted her teeth and became quite. Loran again carried her inside the office.

"Good morning Ms.Sky" Andy greeted Sky and looked at two unknown men following her elegantly.

"Andy, Come in." Sky said before Loran could take her in.

Loran settled Sky on her chair. After knowing she is comfortable, he sat on the couch with Sam.

"Andy, What are scheduled today?" Sky asked as she checked her pending mails.

Sky had three meetings and a table full of files to go through. The earliest meeting had one and half an hour left. Sky nodded and introduced Arlo to him.

"He is Arlo, he will start working from today as your assistant. Prepare the required papers" Sky told to Andy as she pointed to Arlo.

Andy nodded, Sam was chuckling when he heard Arlo will be 'Assistant of the Secretary'.

Joe just looked at him and stood quietly. Arlo was dumbfounded.

"Arlo" Sky called him. That sounded sweet to his ears but he was fuming inside. "Ms.Sky! I wanted to be your assistant."

Joe's mouth twitched and shot him a glance, Arlo knew about his surroundings but he didn't bat an eyelid at them. Sky leaned back and crossed her arms, "So?" Her voice was intimidating.

"If you don't want, the exit is over there." Sky finished saying to him and gestured Joe to take a seat.

Arlo understood why Sam and Jai told him those when he was leaving. Sky who was with Barton brothers and Sam is totally different in office when working.

He gritted his teeth and agreed, "Ms.Sky, I will work."

Sky nodded, "He is Andy, My secretary. He assigns work to you and you will have to report him."

She turned to Andy, "Andy, I hope you can manage."

"I will! Ms.Sky" Andy responded.

"Thank you for your hard work. If you need any help, let me know." Sky knew he was good but he wasn't that capable yet. She had made him take classes and training related to his work so that she didn't have to speak each and every detail.

"Mr.Milton, Would you like to drink anything?" Sky asked Joe.

"I would like it if you can call me Brother Joe." Joe replied with a smile that sounded more like flirting to Arlo.

Sky ignored him, "Andy, Please arrange me a juice, Americano for Sam, green tea for Loran and a glass for water to the guest. Thank you."
