Chapter 240 - It's too sudden

Andy left with Arlo. Once they left, Sky narrowed her eyes at Joe, "Mr.Milton, May I know the reason behind your visit?"

"I just wanted to pay a visit to you. How are you?" Joe looked disappointed.

Sky furrowed her brows, "I'm good. Thank you."

'The least want is sympathy.' Sky thought to herself.

Joe stood up to leave without knowing how to continue talking. Sam who watched in silence, spoke.

"Mr.Milton, Have a seat." Sam told to Joe and went towards Sky.

"Ms.Sky, Do you remember, six cars followed and attacked you? In them, Miltons had successfully stopped two cars that were highly equipped. So Mr.Joe Milton actually saved you and your brother Jai. So I think you should treat him better. Both Mr.Halrey and Mr.Barton knows about this."

Sky bit her lips and asked Sam, "The entire business world in Capital knows that Miltons are engaged in illegal business. Aren't they bad?"

Her words pricked Joe. He always detested his father, but he never expected his father would be a reason for Sky to keep Milton away.

Sam nodded, "It's true that they have some illegal business but Mr.Joe Milton studied and grew up in states. He has his own photography company there and he is a wildlife photographer. You shouldn't weigh son in father's deeds."

Sky nodded to Sam and turned to Joe, "I'm sorry Mr.Milton. I..."

"Little sister, It's okay. I know my father has a bad reputation. At least, can you stop calling Mr.Milton?" Joe asked earnestly.

Sky bit her lips and turned to Loran who was fuming red. Sky stood up with her desk support and started walking towards Loran.

Sam helped her as she spoke, "It's too sudden. I can't make my little brother jealous. See, he will pounce on you anytime soon."

Sky pinched Loran's cheeks and she pulled him up and held his arms, "My little brother, Loran Barton. If he agrees to your request, I will think about calling you as a brother."

Loran was happy after listening to Sky and he grunted to Joe, "I will never agree."

"Sure" Joe flashed a radiant smile and went towards the couch.

"You guys talk. I have work." Sky went to her desk with the help of Sam.

Sky carefully asked Sam, "Are you sure he is a good man?"

Sam nodded. "Call me if you need anything. Don't walk without support. I will be watching you."

"Okay boss" Sky flashed him a smile.

Arlo who went out had a grim look. Andy introduced himself and sent him to the HR department. Arlo reached the Director's office of the HR department and knocked on the door before entering.

The director who was preparing for the meeting didn't raise his head as he asked, "Yes?"

Arlo looked around in the office as he spoke, "Secretary Andy sent me here to get my employment agreement papers."

The director was annoyed. Andy sent Arlo to Manager Tin but he went directly to the director.

The director gnashed his teeth before raising his head "What the hell do you..."

After seeing Arlo, he stood up immediately and stammered, "You... you..."

Arlo understood the director knows his identity, hence he leisurely sat on the chair and crossed his legs as he gestured the director to sit.
