Chapter 249 - Aren't you overboard today?

Arlo was sitting opposite her on the round dining table. She lost interest to ask and watched outside till they finished ordering.

At last, they all ordered about twenty-three dishes. Since Sky knew their appetite, she ordered a complete case of quality wine.

When the waiters started to server starters, Ryan entered and asked Sky, "Ms.Harley, I hope it will be no trouble If I join you guys for dinner."

Sky identified him and glanced at Arlo before responding, "Mr.Ray, It's not at all a problem."

Ryan sat next to Arlo. He adjusted himself on the chair as he spoke to Arlo, "How can you ditch me for dinner? Thank me, I came to accompany you."

Arlo held his collar and pulled next to him and said in a low pitch, "Mr.Wilson, Do I really need your company?"

Ryan shuddered and loosened himself from him. "Behave yourself in front of Ms.Harley." He had learned to use Sky's name for escaping from him and it actually worked whenever he used it.

Arlo left Ryan and started eating. Sky saw their interaction and paused with a fork in her mouth. Sam noticed and asked, "Isn't it as per your taste?"

Sky removed the spoon and responded, "It's good. I was looking at them." Sky pointed Arlo and Ryan with her chin.

Sam didn't give any response. Sky continued, "Sam, My instincts say that their identity is not simple but he is my secretary."

Sam looked at her in amusement. 'Are you proving Women's instincts are always right?' He thought to himself and said "Oh."

All the starters tasted exceptional and everyone was started enjoying after their few glasses of wine. When the main dishes were served, Sky received the call from Ethan.

"Sky, Which floor? and room number?" Ethan asked as soon as Sky received.

"Top floor, I don't know the room number, Take left after exiting the elevator and you have to come to the last room." Sky gave him the details.

Ethan didn't come even after five minutes hence She informed Sam and went towards the exit to check on him. But the door flung open and Ethan entered with a serious expression.

As he spotted Sky, he gave a friendly hug and scrutinized her from top to bottom asking his questions, "How are you? Why are you here instead of taking rest? How is your injury? Let me check your wound."

Sky was speechless. He didn't meet her or call her after meeting her in the military hospital. As soon as he saw her, he looked too concerned. She let him take her to the chairs near the Cards table and sat down.

Ethan sighed after looking at her calf which a had faint line like a scar. Ethan stood up in a relaxed mood and spoke as he extended his hand, "Let's go and eat."

Sky hit his palm aside as she stood up. She held his ear and twisted lightly, "Mr.Jeff, Aren't you overboard today? If you were really concerned, why did you need more than a month to ask? And that too after I called you here."
