Chapter 250 - You should control yourself

"Ahhhh. My ear!" Ethan started to cry when she held his ear.

"When you were attacked again, Dad restricted me from contacting you if in case I disturb you and even confiscated my mobile. He sent me here after seeing your message."

"Can you leave my ear now? You will detach it." Ethan cried after explaining his situation.

"Oh!" Sky gave a short response and asked the manager who was standing outside to arrange a set of cutleries for Ethan.

Ethan's last sentence caused laughter in the room except two.

Arlo's face was dark, Ryan was scared thinking Arlo's might do something or he may release his anger in the company or on him. He greatly regretted joining the dinner.

Ryan tried to convince destressed Arlo but it only intensified.

Ethan noticed two new around the table and asked Sky. "He is Arlo, My secretary. Another one is his friend Mr.Ray."

Ethan waved his hand at them but got a reply from Ryan only. Sky teased Ethan, "See, He has prettier face than you."

Ethan rolled his eyes, "Whatever."

Halfway to dinner, all finished the first case of bottles and asked for the second case. Sky had the permission of only a glass of wine hence she didn't take more, Ethan also didn't drink.

One by one started to sing a song. Sky understood one thing about them, They sit quietly without talking if they weren't drinking, but after they started to drink, nobody can stop them from talking and breaking jokes.

Sky knew they controlled themselves because she was the only girl in the group hence she never forced them to do anything.

Sky spoke to Ethan about his work and his progress while eating. Since there was music, They were sitting near when they spoke which looked more like each whispering to each other intimately.

Arlo started drowning more glasses of wine whenever he saw Sky saying something to Ethan. Ryan tried to stop him but failed.

Sam knew what Ethan and Sky were talking about since he was near to them, But he noticed the changes in Arlo. If Arlo misunderstands Ethan then Jeff's family business will surely face problems and Sky would have more work hence he decided to be a busybody.

He leisurely stood up and went near Arlo. He bent down and explained, "President Smith, Ethan treats Sky as an elder sister. So you should control yourself."

Arlo paused for second and nodded. He couldn't understand why he loses his cool when it comes to Sky.

Ryan poked his nose, "Isn't it younger sister? Ethan Jeff is older than Ms.Harley."

Sam ignored Ryan and gave a piece of advice to Arlo, "I always heard President Smith is a calm, collected and cautious person But not as impulsive. You should be calmer for Sky. Your current self..." Sam shook his head but didn't finish his sentence and went to the piano.

After Jimmy finished his song, Sam started playing the song, "Lost serenity". The room completely fell silent. The piano was behind Arlo, Sky cupped her face and swayed her head lightly throughout the song looking towards Piano and Sam.

Arlo kept his eyes on her mesmerizing gaze and a beautiful smile on her face.

He thought about what Sam said and how he behaved. Even if his company goes on the verge of bankrupt he has the confidence to solve it. But he doesn't have the same confidence to win Sky.
