Chapter 269 - He was helping me

Sam closed the door before speaking, "What are you doing here?"

Arlo who never cared to answer anybody glared at Sam.

"Don't even think about going inside when I'm here."

Arlo's mouth twitched, "Who is she to you? Why are you overprotective?"

"Who is she to me?" Sam smirked. "She saved me when I was dying. So What do you think she is to me?"

Arlo widened his eyes in doubt, "You... you like her?"

"I didn't know your thinking is so shallow. Don't even dare to enter inside." Sam warned him and went towards the kitchen to get milk.

When he returned back near the room, he saw Arlo still standing outside. Sam thought he will go inside after he leaves, but seeing him outside, his hatred to him decreased a little.

When he was entering in, Arlo spoke, "Let me speak to her."

Sam turned to him, "Are you sure you can face her? You will regret your action more after talking to her."

Arlo mentally prepared to listen to her reproach and followed Sam inside. Sky was playing the game in the tab opposite to Ethan as Clark was giving instructions to her.

Sam stuffed the tab back to Clark and gave the cup to Sky. "Drink while it's hot."

"Thank you" Sky thanked and sipped. Sky saw Arlo standing near the door.

"Arlo, Come inside. Why are you standing there?" Sky called him inside.

After taking one more sip, Sky apologized to Arlo, "I'm very sorry for slapping. I was angry and I couldn't stop myself. Hope I didn't slap hard."

Ryan and Arlo were shocked to hear her apologize. The other three knew about her hence they didn't give any reaction.

"Ms.Sky, Why are you saying sorry? Isn't he the one who threw you to pool?" Ryan asked curiously.

Sky shook her head, "He was helping me and I overreacted. He, in fact, told me but I still irritated him so my mistake."

She also knew David had very few friends he acknowledged, she didn't want him to lose anybody just because of her stupidity to trust Arlo.

It would be a lie if Sky says she wasn't scared. But after calming down and thinking rationally, she felt she went overboard hence she apologized when she saw him.

"Hey, which one of you have our dance video?" Sky asked as she looked at all.

"Wait wait, I will show after this match." Clark said as he played the game.

When Sky hummed to him, Sam passed his tab.

Sky played the video and watched it. She couldn't believe even she could dance with mere instructions after such a long time. She also knew it happened only because of Arlo.

"Arlo!" Sky called him and gave the tab. Arlo took the tab and played the video. He wasn't excited as Sky, he just watched because she asked to watch.

He saw how he controlled her every movement. Whirling her effortlessly around the dancefloor. His lips tilted up seeing how she coordinated with him.

She wasn't disobedient but she knows when to be obedient and when to have fun and when to be serious.

Listening to music, Sky stood up on the couch and watched the video again. She saw herself in the mirror from the couch and commented, "Is it so easy to toss and turn a person?"
