Chapter 291 - Sounds good

When Sky turned towards Arlo, Peter and Maxwell stopped breathing and waited for Sky to speak.

"Are you Ryan Wilson's spy in the Harley?"

Peter choked on his water and coughed. Maxwell and Clark looked at expressionless Sam as they knew about him well.

"I will come to you next." Sky told Peter.

Arlo shook his head. "I'm not anybody's spy." He told the truth.

Sky nodded, "I know, you would have been kicked out by these fellas if you were."

"Ahh!" Sky yanked her hair in frustration and looked at Sam, "Am I thinking too much?"

"Actually you are a smart woman." Sam said,

'People are trying hard to trick you' he thought to himself and glared at Arlo.

If the owner's name was Arlo Smith, he would have still handed the information to Sky but Arlo escaped. Clean and clear!

"Should I be happy about it or sad?" Sky didn't know why he said it.

After some time, while eating Sky suddenly spoke, "I think I need a break. Clark! do you like to trek?"

Clark's smile grew wide and nodded endlessly.

Sky hummed, "How about getting lost in the forest without any smart devices?"

Arlo was surprised to hear that. Peter choked on his food and coughed again.

He pulled Sam near to him and told in a low voice, "I think Ms.Sky is possessed. She drove the car like crazy and now she is talking all these."

Sky just heard the word possessed and she understood Peter was talking about her.

She knocked on the table which directed everybody's attention to her. Sky saw Peter, "Yes, I'm possessed and I will haunt you down today."

Everyone burst into laughter except Peter, Composed Arlo controlled well. Sam just smiled.

Sky asked after everyone stopped laughing, "Peter, What was wrong with you? Why were you lazing?"

Peter lightly coughed and didn't answer as he sat awkwardly. He knew a small loophole in his answer could make Sky start her investigation.

Sky sighed deeply and apologized, "I'm sorry I shouldn't have shouted at you."

Then she turned towards Arlo. "I'm sorry for doubting and following you. You are just too mysterious for me to understand. Anyway, I will not repeat."

"No problem." Arlo replied to Sky.

He felt horrible for tricking her and seeing how frustrated she looked but he didn't want to reveal his identity to her unless it can't be solved.

Only Sam knew she also meant it what she said. Even if he pops up in a high profile manner, she wouldn't ask a single question.

The rest of the dinner went on quietly. Clark's mood dampened thinking they won't be going out on the weekend.

When Sam and Peter went out to use the restroom, Clark nudged Sky asked, "Are we not going anywhere?"

Sky smiled and asked, "Where do you want to go? Any good place in mind?"

Sky knew they always spent their time in Harley because of her and the Harley corporation. She also needed a break hence she decided to go.

"How about Rocky mountain? It's nearly seven miles to reach the top. we can camp there overnight and return the next day." Clark fastly explained.

Sky had heard about the place but never got a chance to go there. "Sounds good. What is..."

Clark cut in when he saw Sam entering first as Peter following behind, "Don't tell them I suggested."

Sky nodded and waited for them to settle before asking. "Can we go to Rocky mountain?"

Peter became all ears.

"Can you hike? Your leg?" Sam asked concernedly.

"I will take a break if it pains. Hmmm, I think I can. What is the difficulty level of the hike?" Sky went straight to the point.
