Chapter 292 - Sam was a quickie

"Since you have climbed Mountain Den numerous times, it isn't difficult than that except the last half-mile stretch." Sam replied as he settled on his seat.

"So can we go?" Clark was the one to ask.

"So it was his suggestion," Peter said as he shot a glance at Clark. Latter nudged Sky under the table.

"Wasn't I started about it?" Sky glared at Peter.

Sam gave it a thought. Even if Sky's speed is low, they could reach within six to eight hours. "Okay! We will go."

Sky low-fived with Clark and fished her phone. "Let me ask Brother Jai if he wants to come."

After pleasantries, Sky asked, "Brother Jai, We are going to Rocky mountain tomorrow. Can you join us?"

"Sky! You aren't going on a trek." Jai said in a resolute voice.

"Ah! I haven't gone anywhere for a long time. You didn't even take me to Hallstatt. I want to go!" Sky whined completely forgetting others in front of them.

Seeing others shocking gazes on her, She stood and bolted out. But she didn't have time to think about them.

"Go to non-trekking places. It's not good for your leg to give strain." Jai replied.

"I'm fine. Even Doctor Goody said I can do all the activities as usual. My exercises are also started for a week now. Please, please..." Sky pleaded.

"Who is going with you?"

"Me, Clark, Sam are sure, I don't know others."

"Let me talk to Sam first." Jai asked. He would rarely take time to decided and he was swift every time.

"Okay" Sky sounded dull as she went inside the room and gave her phone to Sam.

"Hello" Sam spoke on phone. As he knew David and Jai would relay lots of instruction before sending her.

"Mmm"

Sam kept humming throughout the conversation. Sky couldn't understand what Jai was telling which made Sam obediently hum.

He passed the phone back to Sky, "Brother Jai?"

"Be careful. Don't push yourself too much." Jai had agreed for her trek.

Sky grinned, "You are the best. Why aren't you coming? and What about Loran?"

"I have some work and Let Loran work on his branch in B city." Jai replied.

"Oh okay" After some small take, she hung up the call.

Without knowing what Jai told Sam, She looked at him, "What my brother told you about?"

"Why? Don't you know your brother well to guess it?" Sam replied when he was working on his tab.

"I know, is it about how to look after me? Don't worry I can take care of myself. What is our itinerary then?"

Sam was a quickie.

"We will pick you at five in the morning. We can have breakfast on the way. At nine, we will start trekking. Near the lake we can have lunch then we will leave there at three and we will reach before sunset. Then camping, dinner and rest. The morning we will leave early and descend before the sun hit the heights then back to home. You will get all evening and night for rest." Sam briefly explained.

"Cool. Should we go and shop for necessity things?" Sky asked.

"I will arrange everything. Just get your basic necessities. Do you have trekking shoes?"

"I have." Just like that, they planned everything out for a weekend outing.

They soon finished dinner and left the restaurant.

"Arlo, How are you going? Shall I book a cab?"

Arlo shook his head, "Rya... Ray is picking me up."

After hearing to him, Sky left with Sam in her Maybach. Peter and Maxwell left in their BMWs, Clark drove hummer to the Harley mansion.

Ryan reached Arlo and noticed Arlo's hummer driving away.
