Chapter 299 - Hand is sore

"Nope" Both replied in unison.

Sky still felt bad for these two working and others enjoying.

She took a plate, unskewed the grilled veggies and broke a skewer into short to use as a fork. She held a veggie in front of Sam.

Seeing her came prepared with a plate in her hand, he resignedly open his mouth and let her feed him.

Then Sky turned to Arlo with another short skewer. Seeing him lifting his brow she used his sentence on him, "You should open your mouth to eat. Not by raising brows higher"

Sam laughed at her remark which attracted others' attention. Seeing Sky feeding both men alternatively, they were dumbfounded.

When Sky went back to the table to fill the plate for them, Ryan and Clark went to Arlo and Sam respectively and tried to feed them. But they were kicked back to the table.

"Sister Sky, only you can pet those two men." Clark said and raised his thumb at her. Ryan did the same.

Sky snorted, "You guys are gluttons. They are still doing for you. They will get nothing if they wait for you guys to finish."

She continued until they finished grilling. Then handed them the plate before going to sit. "Why are you guys so tall, My right hand is sore now."

Arlo pushed his half of the soup to Sky and finished his lunch. They time passed till half-past two and then continued to hike.

The last small stretch about a half-mile was difficult for Sky as they were steeps. Sam held her hand till they reached the peak.

Sam had expected that they would reach at seven but they reached by half-past five on the peak.

Guards from Harley had already arranged everything. They went and laid down on the mats to rest. Sam, Arlo, and Peter didn't even look the least bit affected by the trek. The most affected one was Ethan.

Sky looked at eight tents and pouted. "I wanted to put a tent."

Peter heard her, went towards one tent and removed it before throwing it on the ground. "Ms.Sky, You can try now."

Sky didn't know whether to laugh or cry. She stood up and went near it, "Somebody please teach me. I don't know."

Whenever they camped with Jai, he would always tell others to keep everything prepared. When she went with collegemates, she never had to put it on, as one or other would finish it for her.

"I will help you." Arlo said and went to her. He explained to her and helped her to put it on.

After seeing the tent back to its place, Sky was satisfied and sat with others. "Hey, Why no other travelers are here? I thought there will be many hikers."

"No hiking for others till you leave from here." Ryan replied as he glanced at Arlo.

He had heard Arlo talking on his phone to block the entire area around rocky mountain and the security on the highway was high which was only noticed by Sam and Ryan.

Sky thought David must have asked it and changed the topic. "I saw guitar over there. Who knows to use it?"

Ethan and Jimmy responded, "I know!"

"Great! Excluding Ethan, Jimmy, Sam, and Arlo! rest go and cook dinner." Sky said as she brought the guitar and passed to Jimmy.

Peter, Clark, and Ryan went aside to cook.

Sun was setting and surrounding was painted in reddish-orange. Jimmy started his first song. 'We don't talk anymore'

Sky was enjoying the music when Sam pulled her up to stand to put on a long down jacket.

Arlo's eyes looked at Sam enviously.
