Chapter 306 - I don't love him

Morning Sky started off with Jog. Since she had to be inside the estate, she went around the mansion. She saw two men doing pushups, crunches outside the outhouse.

Seeing them in shirtless, Sky turned towards mansion before speaking, "I can let you guys use my gym for the day but I will not allow shirtless"

Sky stopped in midway and turned around, "Where is Ethan?"

"He must be sleeping." Peter replied.

"Go to the second floor and tell them I allowed you guys and you can start your workout. I will get Ethan." Sky went to Ethan's room and tried to wake him up but he was snuggling with the pillows.

Sky poured a bottle of water on him.

"I will kill you!" Ethan snorted as he sat up.

"Sure! Brush and come to the gym in the home." Sky threw a towel and went out after warning him but bumped into Arlo. "Sorry Sorry!"

Seeing her in pale pink gym clothes, he asked, "Do you have a gym? or just a jog?"

"Jogging is over. Yes, I have a gym. If you want, you can come too." She didn't wait for him to reply and went off as her trainers were waiting for her.

After work out, All had breakfast and left the Harley mansion. They were back in their routine.

Sky got to know about Jimmy and his ex-girlfriend story. She even offered him help to talk to the girl but Jimmy rejected it.

Two weeks passed and the next day was his ex-girlfriend's wedding.

Since it was weekend, Sky was studying with Arlo around ten in the morning when Jimmy came with Sam to the Harley mansion. They sat in the dining room and David was in the living room.

Sky waited for them to speak but Jimmy was hesitating.

Sam spoke for him, "He wants to give a last try. But he can't go to her house as they know about him. Can you visit her and try to convince?"

Sky nodded at Sam.

"Jimmy, are you sure she loves you and she is being forced by her parents?" Sky looked at Jimmy who didn't answer instantly.

"I know you like her and I'm ready to help you. I'm asking to make sure about whether you guys want to be together.... or let me put it this way, I don't want you to do if you are not sure." Sky said.

Jimmy took a deep breath before replying, "I'm sure she loves me and wants to be with me. She is just scared that her family might harm me. She is not letting me convince her otherwise I wouldn't have troubled you."

"Don't worry, I will talk to her. But will I be okay going alone to their house? I heard their family is renowned for..." She gingerly thought before completing as it may hurt Jimmy, "... violence."

"We four can't come with you as they know about us. You can take..." Sam looked at Arlo.

Since Sky was going, Arlo didn't hesitate and agreed, "I will go with Ms.Sky."

Sky looked at Arlo in doubt and looked back at Sam, "Can he really protect me if they attack us?"

Sky had no idea about Arlo's combat skills which were equivalent to Sam's skills. Arlo furrowed his brows but he didn't clarify.

"You can protect him!" Sam said and smiled inwardly, "There will be back up outside if you guys can't manage."

Sam took a microchip and passed it Sky, "Keep this, If... If in case you lose your phone and bag, This will help me track you."

"Done!" Sky stood up and spoke before going to her room, "Jimmy, inform your bride-to-be that we will be going. Are you guys registering marriage today? If yes! be prepared."

Sky quickly changed into losing fitting long summer dress and shoes. Before leaving she spoke to David and had no objections other than her safety.

Sam arranged people around the Jin family house. Sky and Arlo took the latter's BMW, Sam followed them in a different car. Jimmy went to carry out the marriage registration procedure.

But they didn't know was Arlo had arranged people inside Jin family house. In other words, he had paid to the people who worked under the Jin family to help them if something goes wrong.

"Ms.Sky! Aren't you overconfident about convincing Jimmy's girl." Arlo asked as he drove.

"I'm not confident. Jimmy had hope, I don't want to dampen it. I will try my best. Let's see. You don't forget to help me out there."

Sky replied to him and thought about what and all she could say to convince her.

After about half an hour of journey, Arlo and Sky reached the Jin family with gifts in their hands. Guards near the gate left them in after confirming they were Sanem Jin's friends. She had to answer their many questions which they were prepared earlier.

They led Sky and Arlo to Sanem's room as the latter asked like that. After entering her room, Arlo sat on the couch leaving Sky to talk to Sanem.

"I'm Sky Barton, He is Arlo ..." She tried to remember his family name but left it as it wasn't important.

Sanem was looking outside facing her back to them. Sky looked around a saw a picture on the wall. She was a little chubby but she looked adorably cute with the dimples.

"Why are you two here?" A desolate voice heard in the room.

"To drop gifts on behalf of Jimmy. I have kept on the table." Sky replied.

After about two minutes, Sanem spoke, "If nothing else, you should leave. I won't be showing you out."

Sky stood up, "It's okay, I know the way out."

Arlo was confused by her reply and saw her taking steps towards the door hence he stood up. Sky paused and turned around, "Ms.Jin, Don't you love Jimmy?"

"I don't love him." Sanem replied.

"Are you lying to yourself or to us?" Sky asked back.
