Chapter 309 - Was she rusticated?

"Report is signed. I will help you send a copy to the Jin family." Deputy chief asked and looked at her aloof expression.

He couldn't understand how a small girl like her could make Arlo Smith as her secretary and she didn't even care about him.

Sky merely hummed to him for a response. The deputy chief went out and asked his subordinates to send the copy to the Jin family and entered inside to see Sky talking with Sam.

'This girl didn't even speak more than three words with me. Now she talking with that man. People these days.' He thought to himself and sighed.

"This looks like my palms are cut. Is this required?" Sky asked Sam.

Sam kept the first aid box aside and took her inside. Since everything was ready, everything carried out swiftly and Jimmy and Sanem received their marriage certificate.

While going out, Sky spoke to Deputy chief, "Thank you for today. Those packed lunches are for you all and officers inside. Have a good meal."

Without waiting for a reply, she left with Sam. Deputy chief saw her leaving and sighed. After reaching the parking area Sky spoke, "I'm famished! Where are we going for a celebration lunch?"

"There is a western restaurant nearby." Maxwell replied after checking on his mobile.

"Okay! let's go." Sky said and took Sam's car. Jimmy, Maxwell, and Sanem took Jimmy's car and Arlo took his car.

In the restaurant

The restaurant was under sigma Industries hence they received the best room and top priority service. Sky sent her location to a contact in her mobile and saw her Spicy chicken steak being served.

Sky waved her hands in front of Sam and pushed her plate towards him.

"If you can't cut, You shouldn't take" Sam took fork and knife.

"Why? Don't you strength to cut a chicken steak?" Sky and Sam continued bantering until Jimmy clinked spoon on his glass.

Jimmy and Sanem raised a toast to Sky, Sam, and Arlo before starting lunch. Sky just smiled and started their lunch.

They heard a knock on the door and Andy entered, "Ms.Sky"

Sky waved her hand to call him inside. Andy passed four tickets to her.

"Sit" Sky passed the menu to Andy and tickets to Jimmy. "I think, You two should go out and have some good time."

"Ms.Sky, These aren't required. You already helped us a lot. I can't take these." Jimmy pushed the tickets towards Sky.

"Are you looking down on the places? Should I choose better ones?" Sky asked and stuffed chicken into her mouth.

"I have booked a villa for a week, you can extend if you want. If you have other places in mind, Let me know." Sky spoke hearing no reply for Jimmy.

Sky saw Andy sitting without ordering, "Andy, What's wrong? Your favorite pasta is there on the menu, try it."

It wasn't new for her to see him not ordering anything for himself. So she suggested. But Sam furrowed his brows and Arlo gritted his teeth.

"Thank you, Ms.Sky" Jimmy thanked.

"This is the Eleventh time." Sky was tired of hearing his thank you.

Jimmy smiled bashfully, "Ms.Sky, How did you get hurt?"

Sky shot a glance at Sam before answering, "It was just a scratch due to holding the rough surface, He bandaged as if I cut my palms."

"Hey, there were cameras inside and outside the Jin family house." Sky shook Sam's hand.

Sam took his tab out and worked as he answered, "I deleted the footage as soon as you jumped the wall."

Sky sighed and continued eating. Sam played the video, "Fifty-seven seconds including knocking a man down. Not bad."

"Really!" Sky saw Jimmy and Maxwell watching the videos.

Andy peeked at the video and commented subconsciously, "Ms.Sky, You still jump down like this."

Sky choked on mushroom and coughed.

"Mr.Gill, Tell us about it." Jimmy's interest piqued.

Maxwell joined in. Arlo took the tab to watch the video. Sam helped her to drink water and started to eat.

Andy looked at Sky not knowing whether he should tell or not. Sky looked at Andy's troubled expression and nodded.

"Ms.Sky used to jump through windows if she didn't like the lecture or had no mood to attend the classes even if the rooms were on the second floor."

"That was insane." Maxwell laughed thinking about it.

"Wasn't she getting caught?" Sanem asked.

Andy looked at Sky before replying, "She got caught once on her fortieth time and was sent to the principal. They had called Ms.Sky's parents. Her brothers met the Principal..."

"Was she rusticated or suspended?" Jimmy cut in.

Andy shook his head, "Her brothers supported her and blamed lecturers for poor teaching quality. Ms.Sky was a top student, hence they allowed Ms.Sky to leave the room if she wasn't interested and she was even allowed to sleep during the lecture."

Everyone was speechless and looked at Sky who was slowly drinking water.

"Ms.Sky, didn't your brothers scold you?" Maxwell asked.

Sky shook her head. Andy replied to them, "In front of the principal, Her brothers told her to be careful and not to get hurt if she jumps from the window again. I heard they warned the principal saying if Ms.Sky gets hurt, they will sue them. Maybe that's the reason she got permission to leave the lecture halls."

"Sh*t, Why don't I have brothers like that." Maxwell was envious of Sky.

"Really?" Sky didn't know about it. Andy nodded, "And nobody didn't dare to propose you because Loran always took care of them beforehand."

"Sh*t." Sky was stunned, "Whenever I saw boys running away from me, I used to think that they were scared of me. Instead, it was because of my brothers."

Everyone laughed after knowing the tiny pieces of her past. After lunch Arlo, Sky and Sam went towards Harley mansion. Maxwell took Jimmy and Sanem to Jimmy's place.

Sam left after Sky went in. Arlo silently watched Sky cajoling David about her palms. Seeing David's face grim she held the right spot where David would soften.

"Dad, Brother Jai taught me cycling. Since I learned to balance, I took the bicycle and went out but I fell down when I took the right turn. I got lots of scratches on my right hand and leg."

David widened his eyes and checked her hands and legs as if she fell down a few minutes back.
