Chapter 310 - Chairman Harley's upbringing

Sky giggled and continued, "Dad, I was eight years old when that happened... Do you know what Dad 1 did?"

David waited for her to complete, " Dad 1 threw the bicycle and he didn't get angry on me even after seeing so many wounds... Do you want me to see to confirm that this is just scratches?" Sky was opening the bandage but stopped by David.

"Fine, Fine. stop chivying. I'm not angry." David wrapped back the bandage.

"Why did you bring him back? Don't you want to rest?" David asked.

"If I keep skipping, I can't finish such a vast course. I will study now, I will sit with you after dinner." Sky left after kissing his cheek. Sky studied till dinner time. Arlo had dinner in the Harley mansion before leaving.

Monday when Sam drove the car, Sky noticed the small crowd in front of the Harley corporation entrance with a media. Sky was working on her laptop and didn't know why the crowd was present.

Sam took towards the basement as usual, "Sam, What's happening?"

Sam also didn't know about it hence he shook his head. Sky kept the laptop in her bag and called Andy. After relaying instruction Sky went to her office.

"Let me know if you need any help." Sam said before the elevator door closed. Sky made an Ok  gesture.

A security personnel was waiting for her near the waiting area. "Ms.Sky!"

Sky gave a nod, "What's the situation?"

"Ms.Sky, They are claiming to be from the Jin family. They have come prepared with three media channels and they are asking for... for your explanation for helping their daughter run away and... and..." He stammered.

Sky guessed what was going on when she heard ' Jin family ' but hearing him stop, She sat on her white chair and looked at him the eye. He gulped and continued, "They are bad-mouthing chairman Harley's upbringing."

A cold glint flashed across her eyes as her one side of lips tilted. Arlo and Andy saw her but didn't try to disturb her.

Sky thought about their whole day events. They didn't use their name to enter the Jin family mansion as they were extra careful. Sam had a full track of their events.

Even if they know Jimmy works in Harley, they can't guess President of Harley was her. She gritted her teeth after knowing where it went wrong.

She raised her head and instructed, "Make sure they don't enter inside and employees shouldn't get hurt. Leave."

"Noted!" Security personnel left the office.

"Andy, call Deputy chief in the police now." Sky instructed after the Security personnel left.

Andy went out to fetch the number, Sky signaled Arlo to give her the day's schedule. When he was giving the schedule, Andy entered and pass the phone to Sky.

"Deputy Chief!" Her voice was cold enough to run chills down his spine.

"Pre... President Harley! How may I help you?" His voice was jittery.

"Who went to drop the report copy to the Jin family? Add him on the call. Now." Sky ordered.

"President Harley, Why..." Sky cut him off.

"I don't think I have to repeat myself. Do I?" Sky said.

Andy was used to her temper. Arlo didn't expect her to treat the deputy chief similar to how he treats others.

After two minutes, another male voice came, "President Harley! Do you..."

Sky spoke without leaving him to ask his question, "Repeat the same thing that you told in the Jin family mansion."

"Ahh..hh.." It took him few seconds to answer her, "I said, 'President Harley asked us...'"

"Useless!" Sky snorted, "Deputy Chief, I want you to clean up the mess your subordinate created. I don't want to see any Jin family-related people and media in front of Harley. Am I clear?"

"Ye... Yes! President Harley." Deputy chief didn't understand anything other than knowing that the Jin family was creating nonsense in front of the Harley corporation.

Sky hung up the call and relayed some instructions to the PR department then continued her work.

Around the afternoon at two o'clock, Andy knocked on the door. "Enter!"

Andy entered with the PR department director. "Ms.Sky" They greeted Sky. Andy took the remote control of television and turned it on before switching the channel to city news.

"The infamous President and CEO of the Harley corporation, Ms.Sky Harley alleged for indoctrinating Ms.Sanem Jin, daughter of the President Jin of a construction company to run away from her wedding on a day before her wedding."

"Ms.Sky, Shall we release a statement to deny their accusation?" Director asked Sky.

Sky looked at him passively and asked, "Why?"

Director didn't know how to answer her question. He thought they were accusing Sky hence he suggested.

Sky played with a paperweight and spoke, "That's what I did on Saturday."

Director was tongue-tied and looked at Andy, "Director Can, Let's see how it develops, We will inform if any actions to be taken. You can leave now" Andy instructed the Director and left.

Sky returned to work leaving news channel on. Sky answered calls from David, Ethan, George, James about the news.

David knew about the events hence he just asked if Sky needs any help but Sky rejected as it wasn't something she couldn't handle.

To the rest, She had to explain briefly so that they shouldn't worry.

As usual, she finished her work and started studying with Arlo but News was still going on with the lowest volume.

After about an hour, She noticed a picture displaying on the screen of the television, It was a selfie of kids in Jin family but it had captured Arlo and Sky when they were climbing the stairs.

Since they were far in the picture, they couldn't be seen clearly other than two blurry silhouettes.

"Give me a minute." Sky said to Arlo and called Sam.

"Have you seen the picture?" Sky asked Sam.

Hearing him hum, Sky asked another question, "Is it possible to develop the blurry image?"
