Chapter 311 - Talking about your agility

"Developing this picture is not possible." Sam replied straight.

"Thanks, See you later." Sky hung up the call.

Sky didn't know about using technology much hence she decided to ask. If it can, then they can take action. Since it couldn't they didn't have to do anything.

Arlo heard her asking Sam. Even he knew the answer but Sky didn't know he was also an expert in many different fields.

He sighed and continued to teach her. After they finished studying for the day, they left their way.

The next day, she went through about her news. The Jin family had explained how they carried out their plan and how Sky escaped from the Jin family house. There was also a clear image of Sky but her backside which was taken when she was running towards the fencing wall.

"Aren't you going to take any action?" Sam asked when they got down from the car at the Harley Corporation.

Sky shook her head, "Not required, I don't want to lie as it is the truth and trying to bury it from media is waste of time and resources as they don't know me. Jin family is playing, let them play alone until they get bored."

Sky entered the elevator and smiled at Sam when she heard, "Sly"

At the end of the morning meeting, Director Can spoke regarding the Jin family and media drama. "Ms.Sky, Initially public had neutral to negative views on you about the incident. But when media released about how you escaped from there, rumors about you being crippled is almost dead. Now they are talking about your agility but they want to know the reason for your actions."

All the directors closely followed the news. When they heard Director Can, they were shocked to know that their boring and aloof President jumped from the first floor and jumped over the wall.

They remembered two silhouettes. If one was Sky, another one? they turned towards Andy and Arlo but they didn't dare to think as Arlo.

If it was Arlo Smith, No news could come out without his permission hence they assumed it as Andy or somebody else.

Sky nodded at Director Can as response and ended the meeting without caring to respond to the bewildered directors.

Sky understood that Sanem and Jimmy haven't informed the Jin family. But in the report they had clearly mentioned if Jimmy or Sanem faces any problem, Jin family would be held responsible, Sky couldn't understand why they were still behind her.

Didn't they understand Sanem married to Jimmy from the report? was it still a secret?

Sky thought to herself and let the media and public continue their speculation.

The media had started to find the connection between Sanem and Sky but they didn't get anything. Netizens started to speculate them as dikes.

Ryan who was following news called Arlo to inform him, "Netizens are speculating Sky as lesbo. I think you should give it a thought."

"What do you mean?" Arlo wasn't the one to believe the rumors and he was a part of the plan, so he knew why Sky helped.

Ryan replied, "Sky has only men around her but not boyfriend. You always tried to get close to her but she hardly noticed you. She must be homosexual or else why will she treat you indifferently?"

Arlo furrowed his brows, "I will make you pay for what you said." then he hung up.

Even though he didn't believe Ryan's words, what he said was true. However he tries, she just gives him a faint smile. He took their lunch to her office and began to eat. They hardly talk during lunch, if they did, either they talk about work or study.

Arlo thought for a while and asked, "Ms.Sky, Are you dyke?"

Sky's hand froze in the midair and stared at Arlo who was looking at her. She kept her fork down and raised her brows for an explanation of his question by crossing her arms.

Arlo regretted asking. He took a deep breath and asked, "Netizens don't know why you helped Ms.Jin and they are conjecturing you as homosexual."

"Oh!" Sky resumed her eating. Arlo saw her nonchalance and returned to eating thinking about how he didn't care about the rumors about him and Ryan.

He was cleaning the coffee table after eating when Andy entered the office. He also told about the netizen's comments on the social media. "Ms.Sky, aren't you going to clarify anything? Our stock prices are decreasing from yesterday and I am getting shareholder's calls. I'm sure they are waiting to create a huge fuss."

"I will handle them. Go back to work." Sky replied to him and went back to work not worrying about it.

News channels reported that the Jin family saying that 'Ms. Jin isn't a gay woman.' Sky laughed it off hearing President Jin's statement.

Arlo who was working received a call on the telephone line, "Hello! President Harley's secretary here."

"President Lan from Kris International. May I speak to President Harley?" Kris's voice sounded on the other end of the line.

Arlo clutched the handle tight and he wanted to say she was busy but controlled his emotions. "Please be on the line." He replied to him and took the intercom to call Sky.

"Yes?" Sky answered. "Ms.Sky, President Lan from Kris International wants to talk to you. He is on the line. Shall I connect it?"

Sky took a few seconds to respond. Arlo was elated thinking she will not talk to him.

"Connect it." Sky's unemotional voice sounded.

Arlo's face fell but he did as told but he eavesdropped on the call.

Sky thought about it but still couldn't understand his motive hence she decided to talk since it was a voice call. Sky left it on the speaker and spoke, "Yes!"

As usual, her voice was void of any emotions. "Kris Lan speaking."

"Mmm" Sky already knew that.

Kris didn't speak for nearly ten seconds, Sky really didn't care as she went through the file. There was only page flipping sound in the office.

Impatient one on the call was Arlo and he cursed Kris in mind.

"Aren't you curious to know why I called you?" Kris asked as his voice had a hint of amusement.
