Chapter 345 - Pull away from kiss(2)

Sam got down with her and instructed Clark. The other two guards were on standby and Sam followed her in.

Sky had clicked on the calling bell and waited for to open. Sam stood behind her.

Stefan opened the door, Sky greeted first, "Unc... Mr.Gill. I hope I'm not here at an inconvenient time. I called Rony, He isn't receiving. Is he in the home?"

Sky suddenly realized that Rony may be willingly ignoring her calls and clenched her fists. She was ready to accept the outcome even if that was the fact. Sam thought it otherwise and patted on her shoulders lightly to ease her.

Stefan was overwhelmed by guilty for many reasons. 'Mr. Gill' sounded too distant and cold. In her ripped jeans and t-shirt, she looked the same from the past but she was aloof and overbearing.

Hearing her getting straight to the point without any pleasantries created a lump in his throat. She had helped him in his supermarket a lot of times with Andy and she had never treated their place as foreign.

Now she carried intimidating air around which made him feel like those two are from two different worlds. Stefan wanted to say ' come in ' but it stuck in his throat.

Sandra came near the door and froze as she looked at Sky. Sky saw her and greeted without any emotion her face, "Mrs.Gill"

Seeing them not saying anything for more than a minute, she felt awkward. She reprised her sentence, "I would like to meet Rony if he is at home."

Her voice was a little loud this time to get them back to reality. "Huh?" Stefan and Sandra looked at each other and were about to talk, Rony came near the door, "Mom, Who is that?"

He paused when he saw Sky and smiled, "Sky... I mean President Harley. Come in." He made way for her by pulling Sandra towards him.

Sky sighed inwardly hearing some response. "Do you have a few minutes? I need to talk."

Rony had heard about her from Andy, She exactly looked how he said, Formidable. He felt like he couldn't talk to her casually as they used to. "Sure, Come in."

Sky didn't want to go in because she wasn't here to meet and greet. Sandra, Stefan looked like they needed some time to digest her unforeseen visit. She wasn't sure if they hate or feel remorse or happy. But she didn't want to tangle with them again.

"Can we talk outside?" Sky pointed towards the gate.

Rony nodded and led them, leaving stunned Sandra and Stefan behind. Since it was sunny, Sam passed a sunglass to her. Her guards covered them when Sky briefly explained the situation to Rony.

Rony listened intently till the end. "Sky... I'm sorry. President Harley. I haven't done any events for a long time. I think you already know about it."

"Yes! I know about it. I am not offering this to you just because I know you or I have a tight schedule. You know if I can handle this event alone or not better than many people. Use what talents you possess and prove that you can still do the best."

Sky paused, "Decision is yours but I don't have time to wait so... be swift."

Her tone wasn't friendly. It was too domineering which was stark opposite to her behavior with him. "I missed you at my events when you stopped coming." Rony said looking at her.

Sky gave a faint smile and remained rooted. Six members naturally attracted a lot of attention. But they didn't dare to linger as four around Sky looked very intimidating when at work.

Rony took just two minutes and spoke. "Sky... President Harley. I don't have helpers and other materials. We may have to buy everything and get helpers."

Sky understood that he agreed. "Rony, You don't have to worry about anything else." Sky paused, "Get your parents permission first."

Sky knew Sandra doesn't like it when her children do anything without their knowledge and permission. Rony answered as if he could read her mind, "Sky... President Harley! I'm sorry, I'm not used to it yet. They aren't over-possessive now. So what's the plan now? We have only one and half a day."

'Sky... President Harley!' sounded weird whenever he said. "You can call me as you used or You can call like your brother, Ms.Sky"

Rony wanted to call Sky but he decided to call Ms.Sky . She continued, "If you are okay to leave now, get your bags. We will finish some work and leave from here."

Rony nodded, "Aren't you going to come in?"

Sky shook her head, "Please make it fast." Rony went in and Sky took her phone out to call Georgia.

After confirming she was at the farmhouse, she decided to go there. Within five minutes, Rony came out with his bag. Sky pointed him Clark's car and hopped in her car. "We will go home first then the farmhouse."

Sam drove to the Barton house. Sky showed the pictures of the halls to Rony and old parties and events pictures of Harley.

"Ms.Sky, Your event is quite huge than what I thought." Rony said when he heard about all the sections of whole day events.

"I will be with you before the events. You have to manage with other people during the events." Sky gave a moral support.

"Then no problem." Rony replied and went through the pictures.

Sam who was sitting right side of Sky spoke. "Have you worked before with Mr.Gill?"

Sky nodded. Rony replied, "She was the best assistant I ever had. She even handled a few events efficiently without me."

Sam was about to ask something else, Sky cut in, "I will tell you when we drive back to the Capital."

"Rony just have a rough idea now. I will take you to my mom's farmhouse. She will send us to a few more people. They have different kinds of flowers, let's order flowers there. They will be delivered on the day after tomorrow morning."

Rony was quite confused. He can understand that all the event companies were busy but they would get the flowers in the capital.
