Arlo and David were rather surprised by Andy's swift work. Both didn't know he informed them after he did preprocess work.
Sky switched back to the video conference tab. She looked very calm.
Sales & Marketing director spoke, "Ms.Sky, we are practically at the dead-end. If the anniversary party affects, it will completely affect our stand in the market."
"How about we postpone it?" HR director suggested.
Sky narrowed her eyes at him. HR director lowered his head. David spoke, "Sky, We can give some reason and postpone it."
Sky furrowed her brows but her words carried a sense of responsibility. "Dad! Somebody is behind this. Are we really going to lose in front of them?"
Arlo's lips twitched, 'Can't it be a coincidence?' But he saw confidence on her face than the pressure.
"Sky! It's not a small scale event to handle by us." David knew Sky could arrange by herself but she wasn't professional enough to manage such a huge event.
Sky was playing with the crystal paperweight as she took a few seconds to think.
First Ethan popped up in the mind who partied all his life can give better suggestions than others. But she already ignored him for four days and she didn't want to contact him just because of the problem.
Her lips turned up after she found the solution. "Directors can leave now." Two directors bowed lightly to Sky, David and left.
Sky spoke again, "Arlo, Go and check with the venue if any problem and send me the pictures of the halls. Ask them we need more security during the programs, so check all the cameras and other necessary things... You can leave."
Before he could leave, Sky spoke, "Wait... Do they have helipads?"
Arlo knew the complete architecture of the venue so of course, he knew. "Yes, they have two helipads." Sky nodded and Arlo left.
Sky turned to Andy, "Andy, Arrange twenty members who are interested in arranging events. Make sure they don't come thinking about getting a bonus."
"Sure! Any other instructions?" Andy asked. Sky took her mobile and asked, "Is Rony using the same number?"
David and Andy understood what was going on in her head. Andy replied, "Yes!"
By the time he replied, she had dialed and waited for the other end to respond. But he didn't answer the call.
"Where does he work?" Sky kept her mobile aside and asked.
"4th avenue, Cafe Mint." Andy didn't know whether her idea was good or not and he said hesitatingly. "Ms.Sky! He never took such a vast order and he isn't working anymore in that field."
"That's my business. You do as I said and make sure this matter doesn't spread. You can get into work."
Sky knew Rony never took such a big job. But she had spoken to him a lot of times about his work. He was good with his creativity.
Sky looked at David and asked with a smile on her face to ease him if he was concerned too much, "Dad! What do you want to do?"
David had an urge to laugh but he was happy that she wasn't worked up and handling without in a state of nerves.
Sky didn't wait for his reply, "I may call you if I need anything. Till that, you just relax and enjoy."
David nodded. Sky continued, "We don't have time to worry about who is behind this and their intention. So be safe. Can we use your guards for security during the event?"
David nodded, "Don't worry about safety. I will manage it."
Sky nodded, "Did we offend anybody during the Carlton lake project?" Then she shook her head, "Let's leave about this now. Go and have lunch. I will call you in the evening."
She waved her hand and hung up after seeing him nod. She ran upstairs to her room and changed into some random pants and top and went down.
The dining table was ready. She quickly brushed the situation to Sam and was leaving but he dragged her back to the dining table. "Eat first!"
Sam didn't know who was behind this but he agreed to the Sky's analysis. So similar to what Sky said to David, he prioritized her safety and considering rest to later.
Sam had prepared a chicken pepperoni pizza which Sky likes. Since she didn't leave and go, the trio finished the large pizza and left in two-car towards 4th avenue.
It took them half an hour for them to reach the fifteen minutes way due to traffic. On the way there she called twice to Rony's number but he didn't pick.
Sky asked the waiter for Rony as soon as she entered. "Miss, He did the morning shift and went home. He will be back in the evening. I can take your orders." The waiter replied sizing her up and down.
"No, Thanks!" Sky lightly glanced around the cafe and left. She hopped in the car, "Rony is at home. so Gill's house."
Sam nodded and drove. He couldn't understand why she wants to work with him who was working as a waiter for a long time. "Sky, Are you sure he can manage the event?"
Sky nodded, "If he can't, I just have to work a little hard. You all have to run behind me."
Sky paused and continued, "Even if I don't, you will have to be with me." Sky laughed saying it.
Sam was speechless. "You still have the mood to laugh!"
Sky turned to him and made a sad and disappointed face, "Crestfallen? Do I have to look like this?" then she continued, "If I really mess up, I will clean up later. Chill."
Wasn't he the one to calm her? But it was reverse. Soon they reached Gill's mansion. She entered that road after a very long time. It looked a little foreign to her.
She took a few deep breaths before getting down. She knew she would have to face Sandra and Stefan inside other than Rony.
Sam was about to say something to make her relax but Sky spoke, "Let's go"
