Chapter 451 - You are super fast.

Sky didn't expect such a question. She looked at Sanem without expression as she raised her brows.

Sanem continued, "I had almost given up on Jimmy but because of you and how persuaded me talking about love and loved ones, I was convinced to go against my parents. Now you managed to make Elina smile in her nervousness. So I asked."

"Oh!" Sky pondered but replied, "I'm not as brave as you girls to leave my family for anybody. So I didn't dare to woo anyone and nobody pursued me sincerely either."

Sanem nodded and turned front. Jimmy coughed lightly hearing her and asked, "Ms.Sky, are you sure nobody is pursuing you?"

Sky thought for a while and hummed. Then she saw Jimmy and asked, "Don't tell me you are saying about Kris Lan?"

Jimmy wasn't thinking about Kris, he was thinking about Arlo who stayed by her side for nearly seven months and still Sky didn't know about it.

Sanem who heard her, looked back, "Kris Lan! You mean that President Lan. That nation's husband. He is so handsome. You two will be a match made in heaven."

Sky coughed badly making silently sitting Mia to pat her back. Jimmy was laughing too.

Sanem sensed something amiss, "What's wrong?"

Sky drank some water and composed herself.

"San!... Ms.Sky already rejected Kris Lan and... are you sure you are calling him handsome in front of me?" Jimmy's voice turned soft at last question as he glanced at Sanem who was blushing heavily.

Sky who saw it lightly coughed and warned, "Guys! We are still sitting in the car."

Jimmy kept his mouth shut and Sanem looked outside the window for the rest of ten minutes journey.

Sky got down with Mia, "You guys can continue now." Sky went to near the bride leaving both of them to blush.

As rehearsed, they entered the fully packed church. Since there was a huge passage for Bride entry, Sky didn't have to correct veil trail or wedding veil. Sky bent down to correct her trail only when she reached Peter.

Then she saw David in the front line with Arlo and Ryan. She waved her hand at David stood behind Bride holding her bouquet.

Mia saw her waving and ran into David's arm. While most of the eyes were on the bride, many eyes were on the bridesmaid. David and Arlo's eyes didn't leave her.

MC started the ceremony and it took nearly fifteen minutes to end. Sky passed the bride's bouquet while she was going out with Peter. She went near David, "Dad! How do we look?"

Sky held Mia's hands as she showed off their similar outfit. David chuckled, "When will I get to see my daughter in a wedding gown?"

Sky's smile vanished. "Who are you? I don't know you... Bye."

Sky left behind groomsmen leaving Mia with David. They took pictures with the Bride and groom before tossing the bride's bouquet.

Somebody called all the unmarried people to come and stood behind the bride. Sky was standing for formality and Ryan excitedly pulled Arlo to the group with others.

When David spoke to Sky, he clearly heard both their question and how Sky brushed off the topic about her wedding.

Sky and the other three stood in the front two lines, Arlo was at the end of the second line but he couldn't hear anything they were speaking.

There were nearly fifteen people present to catch the bouquet. Maxwell popped an idea, "Whoever catches in us will get to decide our next outing. What's say?"

Clark joined in, "Cool."

Sam nodded and looked at Sky who was still thinking. "Don't tell me you still believe in superstition about whoever catches will marry next?"

Sky shook her head, "If I catch and ask you guys to go into the forest, will you guys take me?"

Sam was speechless. Clark laughed hearing her. Maxwell gave her thumbs up, "You are unbelievable."

Four waited and the bride tossed the bouquet high up in the air. As it descended all looked at the bouquet and one person held it in a hand as if catching a ball.

Arlo was looking at Sky whose eyes were on the bouquet. As her eyes turned towards him, he saw a bouquet was coming towards him. He just raised his hand and held it.

Sam and David who wasn't standing far, looked at Arlo and Sky alternatively. Even though they didn't believe in it, they wanted to look forward to it.

If the superstition could be true, will Sky and Arlo get married? soon?

May be Yes!

Sky was disappointed that she couldn't go into the forest to explore. "We missed it." Sky said.

Ryan was the only one who was celebrating for Arlo while others started to disperse. Arlo stuffed the bouquet to Ryan strode towards David where all were standing.

"Congratulations President Smith." Sam said they passed by each other.

Arlo paused before moving forward. Sam met Peter and returned to Sky.

"You guys go back and rest in the villa. I have to help Peter with reception arrangements."

Sky nodded and said. "Don't forget to eat." Sam nodded and spoke to Mia before leaving. Clark, Maxwell also joined him.

David bid them bye and left for his vacation. Jimmy, Sanem, Mia, Sky, Arlo, and Ryan returned to the villa.

Jimmy and Sanem went to their room. Ryan went to his room to complete some office work. After changing, Sky and Mia watched cartoon channels.

Hearing their laughter, Arlo looked at Sky speechlessly. Seeing Arlo sit next to them, Sky asked, "Do you watch cartoons too? This is a new series. It's very funny."

Arlo probably watched when he was five or earlier. 'Why will I watch now?'

Mia peeked at Arlo every now and then. Sky didn't notice but Arlo felt weird. He never played or interacted with kids.

He went back to his room after lunch. Sky took Mia to her room for napping. Evening they got ready and came down. Arlo, Sam, Ryan were waiting for them.

Sky was wearing a black sequin short bodycon dress. A long plain skirt wrapped around her waist had a slit. Her fair slender legs looked even longer with black pumps on.

Mia was wearing the same patterned dress but it was in silver and white. Both their hair was curled and let them loose.
