Chapter 452 - Marry me(1)

Sky saw Arlo and Sam in a black slim fit suit. She ignored Ryan who was in a half-white suit and asked them, "Are you guys matching with my color?"

They didn't reply and led her out. They reached the venue to see brustling with many people. There were many games arranged.

Sky and others got the same table to sit. Soon the party began when the newly wedded couple entered in a Couple Outfit.

They cut the cake, filled the champagne glass tower before giving out to guests. Their parents raised their toast for the couple first. Then Best man and Maid of honor were called on for their toast.

Sam went on first started in a convincing tone, "Hello! I'm Sam. The groom has asked that I don't talk about his mishaps, mistakes and embarrassing movements. Anyway..."

Sky who stood beside him was thinking what to tell when she heard him She closed her mouth not to laugh but he suddenly and seriously opened a paper.

"Are you going to give a speech?" Sky whispered to him.

Sam didn't respond to her and seriously continued to read, "I'm here to tell you about Peter and how wonderful.., handsome,... ... ..."

He paused and saw the paper zooming in twice before looking at Peter, "Sorry mate, I am having trouble reading your handwriting. Better luck next time!"

The crowd burst into laughter. Sky heard 'better luck next time' and turned another side to laugh.

Peter walked up to him and punched. "Can't you give me some face? I wasted one hour to write it. No more hopes on you."

He turned to Sky, "Ms.Sky! Please show some mercy on us."

Sky controlled her laughter and nodded. When the crowd got silent Sky went near mike, "Hello! I'm Sky. Since Groom requested me to have mercy on them, I will just give small advice..."

"I think we made a mistake by choosing these two" Peter muttered near Elina who was attentively listening to her.

"Shut up! Hearing her mellow voice, do you think she will say something like that." Elina was sure Sky won't tease.

But Peter and Sam knew her well.

Sky continued, "Peter! When Elina gets upset and walks away, Run after her and stop." The complete hall was silent as they heard her pleasant voice.

"When she doesn't call or text you back, Do it yourself, she will be waiting for you."

"When she suddenly becomes silent, ask her what happened, show her that you care."

Many girls were aww-ing. Few couples were holding hands as they heard her. Elina was blushing as she leaned on Peter.

"When she pushes you away, pull her closer."

"When she says, 'I don't want any explanations', Continue explaining. She wants to see your effort in showing how important she is to you."

Sam looked at her in surprise. He thought she would make fun of him. But the advice was turning affectionate. Ryan was nudging Arlo all the time and the latter's eyes, ears, mind, heart everything was on her.

"When she says, 'Leave, I don't want to talk to you' Stay and hug her tight."

Sky paused as a cheeky smile appeared on her face. Peter who doubted from the beginning knew it she would say something at the end and his back stiffened.

"And Elina, Don't be a boring wife Dear, sometimes slap your husband for no reason ."

The crowd took the time to analyze what she actually said and burst into waves of laughter.

Ryan who was drinking champagne spat out. "Sh*t I thought she is romantic. God! she is insane."

As soon as a mischievous smile appeared on her face, Sam knew she would say something like that. Sam silently looked at Peter whose face was as red as tomato and Elina was laughing her heart out.

"Savage!" Sam whispered near her ear. Making them happy and kill it when they were least expecting it.

Sky just said whatever she got to mind as she didn't know Elina much. Then Sam and Sky raised a toast for them and gulped down the glass.

Peter gritted his teeth and threw a flower at her as he couldn't actually hit her. Elina slapped his hands, "She is so cute!"

Peter was stunned, "Are you really going to do as she said?"

Elina looked at her stupefied husband and laughed, "If you don't do as she said, I will do as she said."

Peter grinned and remained silent as he tried to remember what Sky said.

When Sky and Sam were going off stage, they were asked to perform before leaving. Sky glanced at Arlo and turned to Sam, "Can't I sit next to you in front of Piano? Do I have to dance?"

Sam looked at her widened eyes and raised brows. He couldn't understand why she kept rejecting to dance with Arlo. "Then dance alone!"

He said and went near the piano.

Sky bit her lip and went towards Arlo. She extended her hand to Arlo but he purposefully waited for her ask even though he knew why she extended her hands.

It was Sky's first time going to ask a man for dance except for her brothers. Her cheeks started to turn red but she didn't ask for a dance, she framed differently, "I'm giving you the honor to dance with maid of honor."

Ryan and Clark burst into laughter after hearing her. Mia wasn't sure what was going on.

Arlo stood up and hooked her arm to his. "Do I have to teach you how to ask for a dance?"

Sky pouted, "Why do you have to be the first man I ask for a dance?"

A surprising glint flashed in his eyes, "Have you never asked a man for a dance?"

Arlo held her in basic salsa position as they waited for Sam to start. Sky shook her head. Arlo's lips curled up, "Considering as indirectly, you still asked me to dance."

Music started, Arlo took lead and Sky followed the steps. Sky glanced at Sam and spoke, "Why the hell is he playing a romantic duet?"

Arlo had set the steps according to music and it made them dance with close proximity than moving around on stage.

Arlo who heard her, bent his head a little and responded, "Do you expect him to play rock/pop at the wedding reception?"

Sky bit her lip and didn't raise her head to look at him.

Mia was standing on her chair looking at Sam and Sky & Arlo alternatively.
