Chapter 453 - Marry me(2)

When the crowd enjoyed dance and music, Elina pulled Peter close and asked, "Is he really Ms. Sky's secretary?"

Peter whispered to her, "He is her secretary but he also has a special identity. I can't reveal it as of now. I will tell you one day."

Elina nodded in understanding, "Is it only me who feels he is gentle and loving to only Ms.Sky?"

"He loves Ms.Sky. No more talk about them."

Elina turned to him and deduced whatever she heard, "He has a special identity and working as Ms.Sky's secretary and loves her. His name is Arlo, Is he Arlo Smi..."

Peter closed her mouth instantly. "Can you not be as smart as Ms.Sky? Be dumb. You will live longer with me. Keep it with you, if this goes out, we will be dead."

Handling a smart woman was a big headache for him. Sky had roasted him for weeks for not following her orders, when she followed Arlo and for trying to divert her attention and when talking about hummer.

Elina nodded and peeled his hands off. "Aww. He is so cool and romantic." Peter shook his head resignedly and sat silently.

"Why are you looking down?" Arlo asked after seeing her looking here and there.

After twirling around and holding his shoulder, Sky replied, "Do you expect me to crane my neck higher to see your face?"

Arlo bent her back and saw her face, "Excuses?"

Sky rolled her eyes and stood back. "Do you think I'm scared of you to give excuses?"

"Who knows!" Arlo said as he followed up on the dance moves.

"Are you saying you are a demon and I should be scared?" Sky replied when she was standing near.

Arlo's lips twitched. He cursed Ryan for using 'Handsome Demon' in front of her and she started using it too. "When did I treat you bad for to call me a Demon?"

Sky replied instantly, "You threw me to the swimming pool. Remember!"

Arlo regretted asking. "Can you please forget it?"

Sky shook her head promptly. Even though she knew Sam and others were there to help her, when she fell into the water, she thought she would be dead before anyone could save her. She had cried in the shower a long time before composing back and be normal.

Arlo's smile faded and pursed his lips. Thinking it would be difficult for her to forget, he didn't say anything about it.

"You didn't apologize also. You said, for an apology, you will help me with studies." Sky said looking at his crestfallen face.

Arlo twirled her around and pulled towards him, "I'm sorry for behaving badly."

Sky gritted her teeth and moved back. "Who says sorry like that?" Their face was just a few inches away. Sky cursed Sam in mind for not finishing the music.

Seeing her flush red, he stopped teasing. Soon music stopped and the trio stood in the center to bow but Sky stood straight and let the two bow holding her hand. She smiled and bent her head a little.

"You guys are so sincere." Sky giggled as she went towards the table.

Mia jumped on her as she continued to praise their performance. She hugged Sam then she stretched her hands at Arlo but the latter didn't react.

Sky frowned, "If you make her disappoint, I will throw you out. Try me if you dare."

Arlo unwillingly took her to his arms. "Since Sister Sky danced with you, you must be good. I'm Mia Cox. Nice to meet you."

Unknowingly a smile appeared on Arlo's face looking at Mia and hearing such a formal introduction in a baby voice, "I'm Arlo."

"Can I call you handsome Arlo?" Mia asked directly.

Sky and Sam looked at each other before looking at them. They had thought, Mia didn't find him handsome hence she didn't interact with him but she was waiting for her time.

Arlo nodded and pinched her cheeks. Mia flashed him a bright smile and hugged him by wounding her hands around his neck. Arlo patted her lightly.

After Mia released him, She looked at his mole and scratched the mole near lips with lots of attention.

Ryan, Sky, Clark tried hard to control their laughter. Arlo was puzzled about what to do with Mia and tried to stop her but Mia didn't listen to him.

The trio burst into laughter after hearing Mia say, "Handsome Arlo, Wait."

Sam who was rubbing his temples, stood up and pulled her to him. "Handsome Sam! What's wrong?"

Sky patted on Arlo's arm, "You can stop blushing. She is just a kid. Don't mind."

Arlo's face turned even red and he left the table. Sam flicked her on the head to stop her from laughing and to get her attention.

"I will get food to eat. Don't leave the table." Sam said and left after making Mia sit on a chair.

"Don't worry! I will not kick up a fuss as Mia is here." Sky said before Sam left.

Sam rolled his eyes at her. 'Dumb girl! Look at how many are staring you.'

Arlo and Sam returned with lots of food. All had dinner and went to the villa. Sky and Mia left with Arlo and Ryan. Sam and others had to stay for a few works.

After hearing Sam's nagging, Sky agreed to his conditions and left. Sky had lots of work pending hence she had to leave. Ryan too had work and Arlo was okay with everything.

Ryan drove the car as two other cars protected them. Arlo, Sky, and Mia sat behind.

Mia had clung on to Arlo talking with him. When Sky saw her yawning, she asked him to coax her to sleep but he didn't know what to do.

Sky sighed and called, "Mia! Come here."

Mia left him and sat between them. Sky spoke as she picked her, "Aren't you feeling sleepy? Sleep now."

Mia nodded obediently and hugged her to sleep. Sky lightly patted her to sleep. Since the car went to silence, Sky also dozed off wrapping Mia in her arms.

Ryan wanted to talk but scared to wake up Mia and the other two would screw him up. Arlo silently watched two lazy pandas sleeping and hugging to each other.

When Sky's head moved without proper support, he slowly laid her head on his lap and covered the duo with his jacket.
