Chapter 460 - Go and chop him off

"Brother Jai! How can you put me on speaker?

And Dumbo, you should be angry at me.

Mom! your cooking is still the best.

Dad 1 , Be excited to see ME not him.

Dad! 1 Why are you there? Didn't you go on vacation? And How can you five leave me alone and sit together?"

Sky kept her left hand on her forehead as she exclaimed, "Holy! I have such a crazy family." After finishing, Sky breathed out loudly. There was another round of chuckles on another end.

"Little sister! I can put it on the speaker by clicking on the speaker option. It's very easy."

Sky heard Loran laughing his heart out.

David answered her question. "That vacation canceled so I came here to pick George and sister-in-law for vacation. If you want, I will return to the capital."

Sky snorted, "No need! Go and celebrate your daughter's upcoming bad days! I'm just going to the bureau and signing, I will manage."

"Brother Jai I'm not talking to you anymore."

"And rest! Enjoy. Bye"

When she was hanging up she heard everyone laughing. Sky knew Arlo's impression on them was very good and full the credit goes to her as she always praised a Demon.

But still, ' how can I marry him?'

'Sky! It's just a signing then we will mind our ways. That's it.' Sky thought to herself.

Sky wanted to bang her head on the rock as she stared at it. But dropped that idea.

After about five minutes, Andy returned with a water bottle. "Thank you!"

Sky took it, drank a little and poured some on her face that freaked Andy. "Ms.Sky?"

Sky's face, little front hair, and her dress neckline got damp. Andy extended his hand to give handkerchief, Sky ignored and stood up. "Let's go."

Andy followed behind her. Around six both reached the Lamian shop. Ivy gave her towel seeing her damp hair and cloth. "Thank you!"

After dinner, they returned to the capital. Sky asked to stop from the place where Andy could get a taxi and drove home. After the bath, she went to bed.

Sky got ready as usual to go to the office. Sam reached on his usual time and drove her car. He asked before leaving the Harley estate, "Why did you go off the city limits?"

Sam had got a notification when she left the city so to confirm he checked surveillance footage and got to know she went with Andy to Moutain Den.

"Oh! I went with Andy to Moutain Den. I wanted some fresh air and I missed noodles over there." Since Sam used to follow her during their initial time, he knew about the Lamian shop.

As they approached ring road, she told their destination, "Drive to H street."

Sam took on the ring road instead of entering the city. Sky kept on working on her laptop as she couldn't complete anything on the day before.

Sam noticed band-aid and asked, "Sky! What happened to your finger?"

"Small cut... Sam!"

Then they went back to silent mode for some time. "Where H street?"

"Hmm?" Sky glanced at him and continued to work, "H street, Marriage bureau."

"What?" Sam couldn't understand and asked in shock.

"To get married, Sam!" Sky replied the matter of fact.

Sam slammed on the brakes in between the road. Sky held her laptop for not to make it fall and looked at Sam who had a complex expression.

Sky had no mood to laugh but seeing him, she couldn't help but to tease, "Why? Don't you want to marry me? Don't we make a good match? It will be easier for you to take care of me. What do you say?"

Sam gritted his teeth and checked the mirror, "There is a truck coming to throw you under it. I don't mind going to Prison."

Seeing him open the car door, Sky burst into laughter. "Sam! Relax. I'm not marrying you. I will think about it in the next life if we meet."

Sky saw him breathe normally but paused again, "Don't tell me you are marrying Andy Gill? If yes! You will not see him in the marriage bureau but in Operation Theatre."

Sky burst into laughter again. "Don't you hate him to the core?"

"Sky!" Sam yelled at her.

Sky stopped laughing and said seriously. "Arlo! Please go and chop him off."

"Oh!" Sam said and started driving.

Sky was dumbfounded. "Hey! Don't you think you are giving a bland reaction too?"

Sam glanced at her and didn't give any response. He understood who else might have given a bland reaction.

Sky gave up. She couldn't understand why everyone was so cool with that decision. Sky sighed and went back to work.

Sam asked after some time, "Why so sudden? Why not a wedding? It isn't like you are running away and getting married. Everyone knows." He knew she tells everything to Jai.

Sky took her own time to reply, "His grandmother is hospitalized and will be operated at ten."

Sam didn't talk again and let her work as he understood Arlo wants to show their marriage certificate to Olivia. Sky had decided not to bother much about marriage and continued to work.

Five minutes to nine they reached the marriage bureau. Sky checked the time on her laptop and remained seated.

"Sky! We reached!"

"I know. There are five more minutes" Sky replied.

Sam couldn't understand why she was cold whenever they spoke related to Arlo. He alighted and called Jai. The latter told him to let her have her way.

When it was nine Sky got down from the car.

Arlo who was disturbed all day didn't sleep holding the tab. He didn't have the courage to watch it either.

The next day, he wanted to call Sky and cancel but he also wanted to fulfill Olivia's wish. Contemplating between both he arranged everything at the marriage bureau thinking if she comes, they could get married else he would behave he hasn't asked her to marry.

He stood near the bureau door for fifteen minutes then he saw Sky's car. His heartbeat raised looking at the car but only Sam got off and went aside to talk on the phone.

He could makeout Sky keeping her head low and working without getting down. He just stared at her not knowing why she was doing it.

Then she got down and walked towards him but she didn't even bat an eyelid at him and entered inside. He followed her inside and saw producing her identity card but the officer said they already had the copies.

Sky looked too foreign for Arlo.
