Chapter 464 - I pity you

She was frustrated. She was angry at herself. She was perplexed. She was disappointed in herself. She never once took his name in the whole process. She preferred ruin things which they could buy than showing it on him. She valued him than non-living things.

She could have blamed everything on him. She could have removed her frustration on him but She didn't say anything to him.

His few minutes of impulsiveness made him stand here and made her cold towards him.

If he had asked or requested her to marry him, would the outcome be different?

But can anyone change whats it's already done? The only thing left for him was to wait for her to be normal as he tries his best never to make her regret marrying him.

He had already spoken to Olivia, David, and Jai about whatever happened and how she agreed. But except his grandmother, the other two didn't say anything. he wasn't sure whether they were or weren't angry with him.

'Did Sky say something to them?'

Even though Sky told them before marriage, she didn't tell them about how Arlo used the reason of saving her or other things to make her agree to him.

She didn't even say he ordered her to marry him not asked her to marry him. It was Arlo who revealed everything to them.

Arlo also knew everyone stood by Sky including his grandmother. The latter was sad for knowing that because of her misunderstanding, this all happened and she got angry with Arlo for forcing her.

He usually gets punished by her but after she spoke to David, she didn't bring up the topic again.

Is everyone abandoning me?

Don't they have any hope for me?

He had many questions but no answer.

After Olivia's discharge, All had dinner and left to their respective homes. Sky worked on her laptop on the way home.

The next day, she went to the office as usual. Arlo who wasn't coming for a week had started to come. Andy reported the schedule and placed a few files on the table before leaving.

Sky didn't show any changes in her behavior kept her workplace to professional.

For lunch, Arlo contemplated and entered her office room to ask, "Sky! Do..."

"Do I have to teach you how to address me after working for more than seven months?" Sky cut him off mercilessly.

She had heard him address Sky outside the office work but she didn't tell anything. In the office, he was a secretary. If she leaves small leeway for one, slowly one on one would add up.

Arlo didn't mind it. Since it was working time, he decided to address professionally. "Ms.Sky! Shall I get lunch here or will you be coming to the kitchen?"

Sky raised her head and looked at him. 'Did you ask Who am I when I was cooking for you?'

She clenched her fist under the table, "No thanks! My lunch is ordered."

Arlo froze. He thought at least she will eat in her office if she didn't want to eat with him. But one week many things were changed.

Andy delivered the ordered lunch to her office. Arlo didn't have an appetite anymore hence he sat and worked to catch up on his work.

Sky and Clark had planned to have dinner outside as she would be leaving the next day for two weeks. Sam drove her as usual, and the other four followed in two different cars.

Peter had returned on the weekend from his honeymoon and was wonderstruck to know Sky got married to Arlo on the first working day after his marriage.

The other three had asked her many questions and tired. Only Sam knew everything. Peter went on asked numerous questions to her.

Sky vaguely answered as she answered the other three until he came to the topic of honeymoon.

"Ms.Sky! Are these two weeks you are going with your husband to the honeymoon?"

Sky lips twitched uncontrollably, She finished sushi in her mouth and spoke. "A. R. L. O. Arlo! Should I teach you how to pronounce?"

"Was your honeymoon destination so boring that you are interested in mine?"

Peter had tried hard to keep four away from teasing him. Now because of his question, Sky started.

Seeing no response, Sky continued. "It must be boring as you returned in a week. Tsk tsk. I can sponsor for your second honeymoon?"

While Sam controlled the other three burst into laughter and revealed by Clark "Sister Sky, it was planned for fifteen days but Brother Peter is here in seven days."

Sky looked at Peter's darkened face. She didn't want to laugh but couldn't help but to join others.

"Ms.Sky! Don't forget you are married now! We will get the chance to tease you too." Peter bellowed

But it only made others laugh more. Sky continued, "Don't be shy to ask me if you want to go to a better place next time."

After saying, Sky didn't forget to join, "But with the same wife. Don't expect a new place, new wife."

"Hey, Nice idea!" Peter tried to play a cool guy shocking three men.

Sky controlled her laughter and spoke, "Sam! please send me Elina's number. I will send the voice recording to her."

Peter choked on his food. he got up and went to them snatching both mobile, "I was joking. I don't have a death wish yet. Hehehehe"

Sam who hardly laughed, burst into laughter. He knew Sky didn't record anything and other men too knew it.

Since Sky's mobile wasn't locked, he was about to check recorded audios but he heard all laughing at him. He snorted and kept his mobile on the table, "Sinister being."

After sitting on his chair, he prayed loudly, "Oh! Supreme being, Save Arlo."

Instead of getting vexed Sky supported her head with her hand and said, "If you have prayed like this about your honeymoon, you wouldn't have returned so early. I pity you, Mr.Peter Jones."
