Chapter 466 - He will stay with you

After some time, he heard a knock on his door and opened it, "Chairman Harley?"

"What are you doing here? Shouldn't you be in Sky's room?" David asked. He got to know from butler about room arrangements then he went up to look for him.

"I think we should take it slowly." Arlo said hesitatingly.

"Arlo! If you wait for her to ask you, you will have to wait for a lifetime. I really don't understand what you two will do. Follow me."

David started to call him by name after he got to know that Sky married to him. David signaled the maid to bring his bag out.

Arlo helplessly followed him to Sky's room. David knocked and opened the door after no response as he knew Sky won't lock her door.

Both saw Sky sleeping like a baby on her unnecessarily huge bed with many pillows. Her room was master bedroom hence it was very huge. Arlo couldn't make out colors but it wasn't looking like a typical girl's pink-colored or fairy lighted decorated room. It was elegant. Another side of the wall was glass which had an amazing view.

"Sky!" David loudly as he stepped in.

Since it was night and David never wakes up Sky, she got scared, she shot up and asked in a groggy voice as she went towards David, "Dad! What's wrong? What happened?"

Her steps slowed down and frowned looking at Arlo near the door. She went aside and pulled her long full sleeve sheathe. Arlo tried best not to react.

Sky said, "Lights"

Lights turned on. Arlo almost said Oh .

With the help of Sam, Sky added voice recognition and smart lighting in her room.

"Wretched lass! Who sends their husband to a different room?" David chose a hard way.

Sky gritted her teeth, "He has a name. A. R. L. O. Arlo."

"Whatever! He will stay with you!"

"Nope! We have lots of room."

"Sky!"  "Dad!"

"Did I ask you anything when you married him? Why are you being a child here?"

"When did I say I married him for him? And my room is too small for two."

Arlo pursed his lips after hearing her lame excuse. David wanted to laugh but the maid couldn't control it.

Sky glared at her, "What?"

Maid controlled and spoke hesitatingly. "Young miss, your bed space is enough for three/four to live in."

David burst into laughter. Sky's face flushed. "Dad! Give me some time, then I will"

'By that time, I should find a valid reason. Hmph.' Sky thought to herself but David blackmailed.

"Fine, Let me inform Jai then."

Sky gritted her teeth, "Fine! Since I already know my life is messed up. Little more doesn't matter. Get off my face. I want to sleep."

Sky went to her bed and rolled herself in the blanket. She turned towards David suddenly and spoke, "Dad! You. are. evil. "

"Like daughter, Like father." David chuckled.

Sky rolled her eyes at him, "That's, like father like daughter. And I'm not like you."

Arlo who was hearing to their bantering controlled his laughter which made his face turn bright red. He didn't notice the maid was mesmerized looking at him.

When he noticed, he turned cold and his sharp eyes brushed her. The maid gulped her saliva as a chill ran down her spine, she turned around and stood ramrod.

David indicated Arlo to enter and left.

The maid entered to keep luggage when Sky again said 'Lights' . It changed to dim lights.

When Maid left, Arlo closed the door but he didn't know what to tell or do. After thinking for a while, he thought Sky slept but she sat up for not getting sleep anymore.

She looked at Arlo who was looking at her. "What?"

"Your Dad brought me here!"

Sky rolled her eyes at him. Of course, she knew that. Sky looked in her room and regretted not having a sofa. She didn't want too much furniture so she designed articulately as she wanted.

She took a few deep breaths and got up. After taking off her laptop from the bed, she went to her dressing room and brought a duvet out and threw it at him.

"Do you snore?"

"No"

"How do you know?"

Arlo didn't have the answer to that.

Sky shook her head helplessly. "If you snore, I will make you sleep in the bathroom. You can sleep on that end."

Then she went towards her mini cupboard and took off her few clothed hangers and stuffed on Armchair.

"You can use this as of now. I will arrange other things later. You already messed my life, if you mess my room, I will throw you out....." Sky continued instructing for a long time.

"...Maids will clean the room. Don't call maids for every small work. I don't like them walking around in my room."

Arlo felt like he had to follow so many rules. Still, he heard her carefully.

After finishing, Sky went to bed and dragged the duvet to her side and placed two lines of pillows in the center by taking the other side pillows and slept.

Arlo who was standing at the door sighed and moved. He opened his bag and put on clothes in the mini wardrobe which he may need tomorrow. He couldn't understand why her wardrobe was so small...

He didn't know how long he had leaned on the glass wall looking at her until Sky flipped another side with a frown.

'Can she sense the gaze in sleep?' Arlo thought to himself and went to his side of the bed.

Her skin looked very tender and soft under dim lights. Controlling his urge to touch, he slept looking at her. Even though it was a new place for him, he didn't feel strange or non-sleepy. He slept peacefully.

His usual time to wake up was half-past four to five. He naturally woke up and saw Sky was still in the same position without any movement except her hands.

She was so tiny and didn't roll around on the bed in sleep hence he couldn't understand why she had such a huge bed.
