The other three near table surprisingly looked towards them mainly because of Arlo's laughter. That was their first time hearing as he always kept it to himself. But it wasn't new for Sky.
Arlo became quite soon and they sat on the chair. Sky looked at the other three looking at them alternatively and smiling. "What's wrong?" Sky pushed her hoddie cap back and asked.
Olivia and David smiled and started breakfast. Ryan pondered for a while and said, "Due to his laughter."
"So?" Sky passed toast to Mia as she asked.
"Sky! It may not be new to you. It's new to us. I don't even remember if I really heard him laughing. Only light chuckles rarely." Ryan explained.
Sky paused and turned to Arlo as she was thinking about what to say. She heard him laughing many times whenever the two were together.
Arlo moved her face towards the table without looking at her. The rest just smiled and continued with breakfast.
Sky worked only when Mia was doing homework then the rest of the time they played with everyone. Ryan and Arlo were free hence they joined.
By the end of the day, both girls were tired and fell asleep early and woke up very late the next day. Arlo cooked lunch for everyone, Sky prepared a dessert as Ryan and Mia played in the kitchen.
Sam had dinner with them before taking Mia back to the Cox family mansion. The Harley mansion went to mute after Mia returned. Sky laid on the sofa keeping her head on David's lap. The rest sat here and there.
Butler who brought the third bottle of wine for David, Arlo, and Ryan, casually commented, "Master! Isn't it good to have kids at home? Two days the house was so merry."
David hummed and looked at Sky whose head was on his lap as he stroked her hair by one hand. Sky saw David and felt a few more gazes on her excluding Arlo.
Sky swept a glance at all and stopped at Butler, "Butler Uncle, If you like kids so much, I will get a few from our orphanage and let you play with them."
Sky knew why they were looking at her but she wasn't going to listen to them. Butler was tongue-tied when others chuckled.
Arlo just faintly smiled and remained silent. He didn't even think that far. For him, a child wasn't important than Sky.
They continued to chat some more time. Sky was tired hence she fell asleep there hearing them talk. When David was about to wake her up for sending her to room, Arlo went to her. "I will take her up."
"She will wake up." David just finished, Arlo carried her effortlessly.
"She..." David didn't continue and saw Arlo carrying Sky. Olivia saw David's surprised expression and asked, "What's wrong? David"
"Sky usually wakes up if anybody tries to move her other than her brothers. It seems like she trusts Arlo more than she thinks." David replied before going to his room feeling pleased.
Olivia was elated to know. Her caretaker took her to the room while busybody Ryan sent a message to Arlo about whatever David said to Olivia.
Arlo who laid down Sky in the center and checked the message. He was surprised and remembered she didn't wake up even when they were in Country S.
A wicked smile appeared on his face. After locking the door, He pulled her to embrace. To his surprise, Sky snuggled into a comfortable position before falling into a deep slumber.
Thinking about how she would react when she wakes up, he fell asleep hugging her.
--
When Sky heard her alarm and tried to move, she realized an arm on her waist holding her back and she was sleeping in arms. She opened her eyes wide as she closed her mouth with both hands not to scream.
'Are you a pig? How can you sleep without knowing?' Sky chided herself as she moved his hand off from her waist.
She rolled off fastly but fell from bed with three rounds of duvet around her which covered her top to toe. She remembered she fell asleep in the living room and only Arlo could bring her to room.
She rolled to her back and tried to sit but somebody carried her with the duvet. The chuckling sound said it was Arlo.
Arlo laid the sushi roll on the bed and pulled the duvet layer down at her face which was covered with both hands, "Sky! I didn't know we could get up like this too."
Sky glared at him and flicked on his forehead, "You did it. Didn't you? Who gave you permission? I will..."
He closed her mouth and asked, "Then why didn't you wake up till alarm? and even slept peacefully cozying up to me. Anyway, it isn't the first time we hugged or slept together."
'Slept together?' Sky gnashed her teeth as she glared at him.
She easily bit his palm and rolled another side which removed the duvet layers. She threw pillows at him one after another as she shouted.
"Arlo! You are too much. What the hell do you mean by slept together? And that time I thought you as gay so I didn't say anything."
Arlo didn't mind any of her words and how could pillows hurt him. He responded nonchalantly still carrying a mischievous smile, he actually liked the snuggly side of her way too much. "Why are you overreacting? Didn't I tell you to get used to me?"
He didn't give her a chance to rebuff and went inside the dressing room.
Sky was puffing up. She got down from the bed and finished bedding.
Arlo who came out tripped due to her leg, "Oh! Get used to me." Sky said and entered inside leaving baffled Arlo in the room.
Once Sky exited. Arlo still followed her to jog. He removed her headphones and asked, "Are you angry?"
"Nope! It isn't like the first time we slept together." Sky said his own words making him realize what it meant.
Sky put on headphones and went ahead. But it didn't end there. Sky poured the glass of water on his clothes and said, "Oops, Get used to me!"
He changed and went down but Sky again slipped smoothie on his clothes but said 'Sorry Sorry' loudly but 'Ho-oh! Get used to me' in a whisper tone.
When he went to change and saw 'Tsk tsk. Get used to me' note with a car key.
