Sam rolled his eyes. Seeing the car vanish in darkness, he sighed a breath of relief. Even he doubted where he threw his brain and got angry for such things.
Isn't it ironic? She judged him so harshly when they first met. She was important to him even before they met. But he never expected that he would be important for her too. Both never wanted to lose each other.
In the car, Sky was back to normal and played with Mia. Arlo was amazed. A few minutes back she got angry, he came and spoke. Now she was back to normal as if nothing happened.
"Sky!" Sky hummed. Arlo asked, "Why is he so important to you?"
"Sam?" Sky asked and Arlo nodded.
"Very simple! He listens to all my boring, silly talks. Even though he has a bad temper and cold to others, he makes sure I'm happy even if he has to behave like a kid. He isn't shy to go shopping for me without me. He encourages me when I lose hope. He is extremely protective. Even though he never told me, I know he priorities me. There are many such things. A new one is he is also possessive about me."
He knew each one of that except possessiveness. "Many are possessive about you Sky! Even this little girl."
Sky chuckled as she played. The trio reached the Harley mansion soon. Mia greeted everyone before following Sky to her room. Sky was the last to take a bath and come out.
Mia and Arlo were watching an animated movie on a laptop leaning on the headrest of bed. When she came out, Mia asked, "Sister Sky! Handsome Arlo doesn't know to turn on the television in your room. Can we watch it on the television?"
Sky nodded and pressed the wooden block opposite to the bed. A thin layer of the wooden layer slid aside viewing television.
Arlo looked speechlessly at Sky. 'Why does she keeps everything hidden?'
"Is that behind the wall is required?" Arlo asked as he screen shared the laptop to the television.
Sky nestled between pillows as she covered with a duvet. "Yes! The more gadgets or furniture visible to eyes, the room looks smaller. And I don't really watch television much."
Mia saw Sky sitting far from them as she and Arlo sat in the center. "Sister Sky! Come here"
She patted the place next to her. Since it was also the center of television, Sky sat next to Mia.
Sky pulled the duvet up on both which also covered Arlo. The latter didn't say anything and kept the laptop on the bedside table before nestling with two kids. Adult and a little kid.
He wasn't that interested in cartoon animated movie but he accompanied both. He noticed Mia falling asleep first followed by Sky.
Since Mia was leaning on him, He laid her down first before helping Sky. But Sky half-opened her eyes and said in a groggy voice, "Mia?"
He slowly laid her as he replied in a soft and low voice, "She is sleeping." He heard her hum. She kept her hands on Mia as if she would be safe that way.
He pecked on her forehead and got up to close the laptop and television. Instead of sleeping away, He slept next to Mia.
--
Sky heard her alarm and woke up. After shifting Mia from her arms to the pillow, she stretched and took her mobile to turn off the alarm.
She turned to check on Mia and pulled duvet up for her. Then her eyes fell on Arlo who was sleeping with his face towards her.
There were soft sun rays in her bedroom. His skin looked fair, clean and fresh. His wispy hair covered his forehead and thick black brows. His long lashes created shadows on his skin. His punch pink colored soft lips weren't too thin and weren't full. They were a perfect size...
Sky furrowed her brows realizing what she was doing and was getting up, Mia flipped on her sheathe. After making her sleep on her back and removed her sheathe, Sky kissed her forehead and got down near her bedside.
She heard a voice and threw a pillow at the source of voice before leaving for the bathroom.
"I thought you were going to give it to me." Arlo who leaned on headrest said and received a pillow instead of a kiss.
He woke up when he heard her alarm. He felt her gaze on him and controlled his facial expression without giving a hint. But the one who stopped her got the peck.
After changing, Sky wrote a few sticky notes and stuck around Mia. If she wakes up early, at least one she would see and don't panic.
Arlo who came out saw nearly ten stickies around Mia and shook his head helplessly. "You think every possibility. Don't you?"
Sky nodded and left as Arlo followed her out. Since she left her mobile in the room for Mia, she wasn't listening to songs and answered Arlo's questions.
When they returned from the gym, they saw Mia holding all stickies but she was asleep. Sky went near her and started to wake her.
Arlo went his bedside to keep mobile for charging and saw Sky holding Mia's fingers between her lips when the latter moved her hand on Sky's face.
Mia was giggling but Arlo threw a pillow at Sky before going to the bathroom. Sky left Mia's finger and looked at Arlo who closed the dressing room door, 'What did I do?'
"Mia! Did I hurt you?" Sky checked her finger which was not even light shade red. Mia promptly shook her head, "No! Sister Sky."
Sky and Mia played till Arlo exited. He saw all pillows were on the floor of the room and both merrily entered the dressing room chuckling.
He had a doubt. 'Do kids do like this or girls do like this?'
By the time he brought the room back to normal, Sky and Mia exited in yellow Pikachu hoddie as per Mia's request. He started laughing in a teasing tone looking at them. Both girls ignored him and went out for breakfast.
He was still laughing when they were descending stairs. Mia didn't know the reason and she giggled with him and she cued him to carry her.
