After coming out of the shower, he took his mobile and saw numerous missed calls from seniors and he called back one and asked.
They just said, they saw him swaying and Jenny took him. They had called to know if he needs any help but nobody picked up.
Arlo narrated them whatever happened and they said, 'I think you were drugged.'
He knew well it was easy to get such drugs in Country U. He couldn't understand who had done it. He drank what he ordered. He didn't get any answer other than somebody spiking his drinks.
He went out to the balcony and pondered for a long while before talking to Olivia. He knew well what she would say yet he said everything before coming to a conclusion.
"Even though you are a victim of being drugged, it's your mistake to let others drug you and with that Jenny became a victim of your mistake. Be responsible for it. Do I have to repeat myself?"
An unyielding voice sounded on the phone. Arlo replied, "I understood grandmother."
He hung up and entered inside. He saw Jenny huddling in a corner and crying. He clearly remembered he told her to take to the restroom first, then he had asked her to call seniors then he had asked her to let him use the bathroom but he didn't know what she said and why she didn't listen to him.
He wanted to interrogate but he gave up. "Are you alright?"
Jenny raised her head from the duvet and cried, "Dearie! I know you don't like me. I know you were drunk and you did it in a drunken state. I know I shouldn't ask you to take responsibility but I don't want to get pregnant."
She said in between sobs and wailed after finishing. Arlo didn't feel any pity or sympathy towards her. In turn, he was annoyed by her crying.
When she started to sob, he spoke, "I will take responsibility for my deeds if you allow. And you can take the contraceptive pills if you want irrespective of your decision to be with me or not."
His voice didn't carry a hint of emotion. It was cold as ice. But Jenny stopped crying and asked, "Will you really take my responsibility?"
Arlo grunted. Jenny got up wrapping the duvet around her. "Let me sleep on it first."
She said before taking her clothes and going to the bathroom. There wasn't happiness on her face hearing it. she just blankly went to the bathroom.
He stood in the same spot for a long time thinking about every possibility. He only moved when Jenny shook his hand.
Both left the hotel. He dropped Jenny to the female dormitory in college after confirming she was not taking birth control pills and went back to the club.
He wanted to see if there were any cameras that caught the person who drugged him but unfortunately, there was only one camera that was out of order. Even after asking around, he didn't get any information.
He returned to his room and didn't respond to any questions of seniors before locking himself for straight two days. He had to go college the next day hence he had come out.
Since Olivia ordered him to treat her nicely as she wanted him to take responsibility, he tried his best to be nice. But passing days, her request for doing things increased and she requested him many things to buy for her. Initially, he bought it and later he said 'No balance' for everything.
If she asked to stay by in his flat, he always declined giving seniors a reason. A month passed and she didn't get pregnant from their physical activity. He breathed a sigh of relief knowing they won't be ruining any kid's life.
A few more months passed just like that and one day, Jenny was nowhere available. She was neither in college nor in the dormitory. Arlo got to know about this by his seniors and tried calling but her number was off.
Then the matter swiftly spread on the campus as Arlo had to search her and it was also ordered by Olivia. He checked every possible place but he didn't find.
Then he filed a missing complaint but it was of no use. After a month, he revisited the police station and got to know she flew off to country X.
Where in country X or other things he had no idea. The cops retrieved him video footage of the airport where she had dressed luxuriously and was enjoying with a man who was in the late twenties or early thirties.
Cops said he was an heir and rich businessman from country X. Arlo thanked before leaving. He didn't like her but he was ready to take responsibility for his mistake. But from the looks of it, She liked somebody else and left without informing.
After knowing she was just saying empty words of being together and left him, His usual cold and indifference were frighteningly changed and nobody dared to approach him for anything except the seniors who were with him all the time.

"So you found yourself a rich woman who hates rich men. Well done." Sky tried to lighten his mood.
"Don't worry, even if I go bankrupt, I can still earn bread and you can cook for me." Sky gave a cheeky smile to him.
Arlo smiled and hugged her tightly. "You can ask the grandmother or any of my seniors about this."
"Why?" Sky initially couldn't understand why she has to ask. Then she knocked him on the head. "I trust you! You could have hidden it but you said. And that didn't happen because you wanted it, it was an accident. Even if it happened with your consent, it was your past. Now you have no other choice than me."
Sky who said everything seriously ended it with a funny comment. Arlo knew she wouldn't create a scene for his past but he didn't expect her to comment cheekily so that his mood doesn't drift to sad.
He pinned her on the bed when she finished saying and started giggling.
