Chapter 551 - Was there six or eight?

"Let's go, I will take you there." Arlo said and opened the door for her as he continued, "I will inform Dad."

He knew she would message or call David saying 'We will be late.' So he pinged, 'We aren't coming home tonight.'

David replied soon, 'Take care'

After reaching Golden grand heights, Arlo sent David's guards back to Harley by his message and took her to the elevator. "Arlo! are you sure we are in the right location?"

Golden grand heights was a luxurious apartment district which was built by Sigma. She couldn't understand why would sigma build a tiny house there.

Arlo knew what she was thinking but he changed the topic seeing her who looked like a defenseless cat waiting for a response. "Don't forget we are in the elevator. Why are you giving me that look?"

Sky was at a loss of words. She just asked a question looking at him, "I will not see you anymore. hmph"

She turned towards the elevator door and saw his reflection before turning the other side to avoid his reflection. Thinking about not to vex her else she would ask to leave, Arlo silently watched her till they reached the last floor.

He took her to the terrace, opened his tiny house door and let her in first.

Sky was stunned looking at the interior in black and shades of black. The white floor and some dark brown wooden work were only different colors.

Towards the left end, there was a mini living room, above it was a study room. Stairs connecting to it was used as storage. Opposite to it was a wall fixed dining table. Next to it was a kitchenette. Opposite to it had storage section which was stairs to connect the open bedroom.

Sky ignored the right end corner where the washroom section was present and went to the bedroom. that section roof was glass which had the view to the dark sky.

Ignored by wife, Arlo shook his head resignedly and entered inside and closed the door as he heard, "Arlo! are we staying here?"

Her tone confirmed she liked the place. especially the glass roof to which she was holding on to standing on the bed.

"Sky! who do you like the most? Me or stars?"

Sky controlled her smile knowing he was jealous of stars but she kept her gaze outside. "Of course Stars. They will never leave Sky."

'When did I say I will leave you.' He snorted and went to get fresh.

When Sky came down, she started sneezing and realized that the tiny house might not be used for a long time.

After searching, she found a handy vacuum cleaner and cloth to clean.

She continued to sneeze as she cleaned. She was half a way through it, Arlo exited and saw her cleaning. Sky who turned due to door sound turned away instantly.

'Holy lord! why did he come out in a towel.'

'Was there six or eight?... What am I thinking now? Shameless Sky!' Sky continued cleaning wiping her imaginary tears.

'Achoo'

Arlo had no plan to come out half-n.a.k.e.d but seeing her not scream or chide surprised him.

He wanted to tease her seeing her flushed cheeks but hearing her sneezing a few times, he wrapped his night robe and took the cleaner.

"Go and get fresh. I will give cloth to manage for tonight."

Sky nodded obediently and went in. The shower cubicle was very small which made her understand why Arlo came out in just a towel.

She quickly showered, took a black shirt from Arlo and wrapped her hair with a towel before going out. The shirt was long enough to reach her thighs but seeing her in his shirt, Arlo tried his best to keep his eyes off to maintain his composure. After drying her hair, both went to the bed.

Their position on the bed interchanged as Sky was looking at stars laying on her back, Arlo went into her arms making her chortle.

"Arlo! you brought me here because I told you to sleep outside. Isn't it?"

She caressed his half-face as she asked. Arlo hummed in response. She said it because she had to use an ice pack that didn't mean she would do it. She didn't tell him she wouldn't have done that and changed the topic.

"You joined Harley for me. Now you have me. Don't you want to change your job position? I'm sure your previous job profile wasn't a secretary or assistant." Sky would give whichever position he would want to as he was capable.

"I want to be Secretary of My Wife to be beside her all the time." He dragged 'all' and finished it.

A content smile appeared on her face before she turned to him and hugged his neck. "Don't you get bored seeing me all...ll the time?"

Arlo's face was resting under her neck due to her change in position. His ears turned pink remembering it was how Mia sleeps with Sky. As a smile appeared on his face, he pulled her waist near him. "I like this style."

"Don't you want to watch stars anymore?" Arlo asked after some time.

A sleepy voice heard to him, "Even though they will never leave Sky, many can still watch them. Whereas they can't cuddle me to sleep. And I don't know whether I'll get you next three nights."

Her sleepy voice suddenly changed after mentioning three nights and she was fully awake. "I know you are taking the time to tell me about yourself. But grandfather will get furious if you don't tell the truth."

Hearing her worried tone he understood the importance of two people. He and grandfather.

He laid on his back and pulled her into arms, "Don't worry about it." Sky nodded because he won't back down or give up easily.

She knew all along that he was hiding a few things from her but she knew Jai and David would know about it hence she never forced them to tell.

But for her grandfather, hiding was equal to lying. If Arlo's impression becomes negative at first meet, he would keep Arlo away and treat with an animosity that Sky didn't want to happen even if they meet rarely.

Arlo continued, "If you know I'm hiding something from you, why didn't you ask me?"

"Do you want to know full or half?" Sky asked resting her chin on his chest and seeing him.

Arlo chuckled knowing how she turned the serious conversation to lively. So he kept it the same way "Half of full!"
