Chapter 580 - Red velvet cake

"Pretty Ryan! Are you saying your brother has Devilish charm?" Sky said and realized she was praising and defending Arlo.

Excluding Arlo, the other two looked at Ryan who started to bristle up on Sky who called him pretty. Sky ignored Arlo's gaze on her and coaxed Ryan saying he was handsome, good-looking, attractive and so on.

The trio left together in Rolls Royce phantom. Since there just started to extend the car garage in Harley estate, Arlo's cars were in the Smith mansion.

Ryan had informed in Sigma industries that Arlo would be coming with him hence their entry was too extravagant where Sky looked out the place in her carefree, playful look which attracted lots of attention walking between Arlo and Ryan.

Sky could feel the different vibes from two men. Friskiness changed to domineering and powerful. Loving and affectionate towards her changed to cold, high and mighty.

Sky was used to that attention hence she didn't care. But instead of her aloof attitude which she uses in Harley, she had a faint smile and excitement about the day.

Arlo who realized Sky was attracting too much attention, held her hand and brushed his icy-cold eyes at a few making them lower their heads.

Sky rolled her eyes under her sunglass. Ryan noticed when entering the elevator and shook his head resignedly. Sky spoke after entering the elevator. "Wasn't that too exorbitant?"

"That was nothing." Ryan replied.

Sky was stunned. There were nearly fifty guards standing for them with some directors greeting them respectfully. Nearly twenty receptionists of different departments were on the ground floor with their formal attire and full makeup.

Other employees were blocked to enter or exit till they enter the elevator.

Is that nothing?

'Rich people, rich ways.' Sky thought to herself and entered the last floor.

Secretaries were lined up to greet Arlo and Ryan. They looked curiously at Sky and followed them. One secretary informed about both men's schedule.

Ryan had many meetings lined up whereas Arlo had a meeting before lunch and one in the evening. Sky gave a pitiful look at Ryan but the latter was nonchalant about it.

Sky removed her sunglasses and patted on Ryan's shoulder. "I'm proud of you."

Ryan had a smug smile, "You should be."

Sky smiled and went into Arlo's office as Ryan entered his office opposite to Arlo's office. Few secretaries who were peeking in understood Sky was the same girl who kissed, bit, threw things on their President.

A guard kept Sky's laptop on Arlo's desk and left. The cold air around Arlo dissipated and pulled her to him as one hand wrapped around her waist and he leaned on his desk, "Do you want a separate desk?"

Sky shook her head and looked inside the office decor properly which she hadn't seen last time. It was vast slightly bigger than her office. She could only see two colors. White and black which reminded her of the former self.

Few files on his table had two other colors and the orange snowball was highlighted on his glass desk. Her red dress in the office was very vibrant.

She pinched his nose as she replied, "I can use your desk if I want."

Arlo nodded, "Ask me if you need anything."

"Yes! President Smith. Thank you so very much for your hospitality." Sky said formally but just a bow was missing. She chuckled seeing his poker face.

She had tortured him saying President Smith multiple times that he hated to hear it from her.

"By the way! What is my identity here?" Sky asked as she sent him to his chair.

"Madam President Smith." Arlo said the fact even though he knew why she asked.

Seeing her glare at him, he asked, "Secretary?"

"You have fourteen secretaries." Sky didn't like it.

"Oh!" Arlo opened his laptop as he said, "Intimate secretary."

Sky who was typing her password on her laptop paused and narrowed her eyes at him. She was about to say, 'I'm leaving, bye.' she heard, "Personal Secretary."

Sky was nodding in approval, Arlo continued, "Intimate and Personal both are same, Red velvet cake!"

Sky ignored his tease and licked her lips thinking about red velvet cake before looking at Arlo. He chuckled, "No sweets for you, Candy floss."

Sky pouted and went to her work. Both worked without disturbing another one. When it was time for her meeting, She wore her wireless headphones and asked him if she could talk or should she go to another place.

After knowing it won't disturb him, Sky walked behind Arlo near the glass wall looking outside as she heard directors reporting. She would only talk when required. When she was screwing up a Director for his mistake thinking she wasn't serious, a secretary of Arlo paused near the door.

Arlo knew about her presence but he didn't react. Sky cued her to come in as she continued. Then that lady understood Sky was scolding somebody else, not President Smith.

Sky finished her meeting and was going through mail, Ryan entered, "Hey! Meeting in five minutes."

Sky was first to react, "Can I join?" Ryan and Arlo replied in unison, "Sure."

Sky took her laptop and went with two men asking, "What if I steal your ideas?"

Both gave a glance and Ryan spoke, "Sky! You aren't that talented."

Sky was about to chide him for looking down on her, Arlo rubbed her head, "He means you aren't talented in stealing."

"Oh!" Sky shot daggers at Ryan as they went downstairs.

All were seated in the conference room and the trio was last to enter. There was already news in Sigma that Arlo walked hand in hand with a pretty girl in the red dress. So after hearing heels clacking sound with two shoe sounds, everybody's attention was at door.

Ryan was telling about what was there on that floor and particular room's functionality till they reached the conference room-1 out of 5.

All stood up as Arlo entered followed by Sky then Ryan. They were shocked to see Arlo pulling a chair for Sky but latter wanted to knock his head down.

"I'm your secretary." Sky said in low voice.

Arlo hummed and pointed the seat as he said, "Intimate." It was always his habit to pull a chair for her unless she does before him.

Ryan's lips twitched knowing what he said. Sky sat down fuming after hearing 'Intimate'. All were even more shocked seeing Sky sitting first then Arlo taking his chair.
