Chapter 592 - How can he smile for that?

Arlo kissed on her forehead before getting up and pulling blanket up. "Rest! We have an hour to leave."

Without waiting for her response, he went to the wardrobe and pulled out a pair of clothes for her before he changed.

Sky who saw him removing his bathrobe and changing in front of her pulled the blanket up her face feeling the burn on her cheeks.

After seeing his defined abs and firm chest, she remembered how he had pulled her on top of him and her hand had moved involuntarily over his firm muscles which had made him lose control and kissed her uncontrollably.

Remembering how she had m.o.a.ned his name when his hand fondled her sensitive places, she felt her body heat.

The more she tried to distract her mind, she remembered the aroused Arlo and covered her face with palms under the blanket.

'Mr. President, you are the seducer, not me. Hmph.' Sky thought to herself but the blanket pulled off from her face by Arlo.

She parted her fingers and opened her eyes to see Arlo. He had raised his brows in confusion looking at her and his white shirt wasn't buttoned that revealed his firm muscles which gave craving to feel them on her fingers.

"What are you thinking?" Arlo who knew her weakness to say the truth looking into his eyes always made use of it.

"Femme Fatale is for the woman so what is for man?" Sky cursed herself immediately and pulled the blanket over her face as she clutched it tightly.

"Go and work." Sky said knowing he was still standing near.

She heard him chuckle. He bent and said in a deep, s.e.xy voice near her ear above the blanket, "I'm flattered."

She had told him numerous times not to use such a tone yet he uses it all the time...

She removed the blanket when she heard the door opening and closing but saw Arlo standing near the door looking at her.

"I wanted to see you." he gave a teasing smile and left.

'This man is a pure tease.' Sky thought to herself after seeing his lips forming a curve where the mole was threatening to fall.

After lazing around in the bed for some time she realized she started to waste time doing nothing and thinking too much which was not her usual self.

She dressed in jeans and a top which covered all marks. After making sure no marks were visible, she went out tidying the bed which was a complete mess.

Arlo was listening to somebody who was reporting about Country X crises. He was not his secretary and Sky couldn't remember which meeting she had seen him.

Noticing Sky exit the room, Arlo raised his head to look at her and pointed the coffee table for her where smoothie in mini jar with straw was present.

That man glanced at her when he saw Arlo's reaction but he continued to report without break.

Arlo had brought the same type of jars to the kitchen in Harley and seeing it again she couldn't help but smile.

When she had asked about it once in Harley corporation, he had told her she was drinking juice from a similar jar with straw when he saw her second-time and she had picked the same type jar in Ethan's birthday.

That time she hadn't thought much. Thinking back now, she felt like she was a fool who thought he was attentive only because she was President and CEO.

She finished her green smoothie as she checked the new mails. Hearing Arlo's order about country X, Sky raised her head and saw him. There was no hint of anger or annoyance while instructing to solve the crisis.

She took her mobile to take a picture of his serious straight face but noticed a small curve. Displeased with the picture, she threw her mobile aside.

Arlo had noticed her gaze and knew she was taking a picture, even though he didn't want to smile, his lips tilted up for her involuntarily.

It soon erased when her focus went back to her laptop.

But the man was confused seeing why his president smiling looking at him giving instruction. They had lost nearly hundreds of millions which he was instructing about it.

How can he smile for that?

He got to know the answer when he exited Arlo's office and saw Sky going towards Arlo who had stretched his hand towards her to call.

Sky sat on his desk and took the tab which he gave to watch a video.

It was a video of the rooftop where she could see one helipad had Harley's old helicopter. Soon a group of men entered the rooftop and stood near another helipad keeping their hands back.

Sky looked at Arlo once in perplexity and realized they had a sigma logo on their suit.

The video wasn't high definition but she could identify Arlo getting down from the newly landed chopper and held a lady's hand to help her get down.

After carefully seeing she identified it as Olivia. Ryan who had got down the other side went to Olivia's side before they descended the stairs and coming towards the camera which was near to the door.

"Why am I..." Sky glanced right end corner "This date?" Sky felt conflicted seeing the date which was four+ years back.

She was joining dots and saw Arlo pausing and frowning in the video. A man exited carrying a girl. Sky easily identified him as Jai and the one he carried was her.

Video ended when Arlo and his guards entered inside and Harley chopper flew off.

"You! you were displeased seeing me and Brother Jai. Only Grandmother had a concerned face whereas Ryan was puffed up."

Arlo chuckled seeing her cheeks, "And you are puffing up here."

When Sky told him she was brought to the capital for advanced tests, those years only Sigma hospital had such types of equipment that were high-end compared to any other hospital.

After brainstorming he remembered he had seen chopper which had Harley logo.

After checking Olivia's regular checkup dates, he managed to extract the video from archives.

But he couldn't remember seeing Jai or Sky. That was the day he ordered that whenever He, Ryan or Olivia visits, they shouldn't see or get anybody on their way.
