Chapter 593 - you are already missing me

Sky snorted, "I was concerned when I saw you in the mall. And look at you." Sky knocked on his head and sent the video to David, Jai, and Loran.

Arlo looked at her who busy in the tab. If he thinks about the life he had before her, it just looked plain and dark.

Work, home and nothing. He never cared about anything else much other than two at home but it was never the same after Sky came.

He always got to know something new about her even after staying with her all the time.

He couldn't understand why all think, staying or seeing the person all the time would dampen the interest on their partner.

He always looked forward to being with her all the time.

Being with her, her talk, her chuckles, her laughter, enjoyable lunches, their senseless bantering, silly small fights, his smiles due to her, his different sides which he even didn't know about himself, everything made his life colorful.

Just like once she said, 'He was just a plain dark canvas that can only be colorful with her, for her.'

Sky looked at his gaze which stayed a long time, "You can say it out." Her voice was soft.

Then she got down and used his method. "That... you are head over heels in love with me."

Arlo heard her coquettish tone near his ear before she went to the couch to pack her things. His lips tilted up and an urge to explore her every form increased more...

Both left the Sapphire tower for dinner. Ryan would be joining later after his boring video conference. It took them a long time to reach as they were at the different end of the city.

As Sky and Arlo spoke, their topic changed to rich people, "Did you start hating rich people because of Dad?"

Sky replied, "Nope! It was from school time... Once two rich kids... now men! were fighting in front of me."

B: Hey Sky! Even I can do that. I will get your favorite candies too.

A: I will get your afternoon lunch every day.

B: I will get your favorite snacks and lunches.

A: B, I asked her first.

Sky yawned looking at them, "Who are you two? It's my nap time. Get off my face." After saying She slept on her desk.

She was done with their holding collars and scaring each other with few punches on each other's faces.

In college

"Here you go." Sky was stuffed with a car key fob when she exited the lecture block after class. "You can use my car and You are my girlfriend from today."

Sky looked at the fob and threw it on her backside.

'Gulp'

Seeing the fob in the water of the fountain. The boy who was showing his swag went pale. "Do you know how expensive that car is. You can't even dream to get that."

Sky never wore dresses and showed off with expensive stuff. Since she was getting scholarsh.i.p.s and always wore jeans with a backpack, Many thought her as poor to the middle class.

Sky took a step front and patted on his face, "Little boy, I learned driving in Mercedes and there are five other expensive cars in our garage. Well! I didn't buy them but I still can afford to buy a BMW in my money... You don't believe me?"

Sky opened her banking application in her mobile and showed him a six-digit balance. Thanks to her pocket money, scholarsh.i.p.s, red pockets, and her online businesses, she could show off easily if she wanted.

"So keep your Dad's Nissan with you."

Since he was overconfident and ordered her in front of so many, she embarrassed him so much that he didn't dare to show up in front of Sky other than stand far and gritting his teeth looking at her.

"You know about Kris Lan's project deal on me. But the worst one is still yours. As Brother Jai says, I'm sold out for free."

Arlo looked at her and could imagine the faces of those boys. He didn't feel bad for what she said at him instead he tugged her near to him while driving.

"Arlo! You are driving." Sky's tries were useless as his right hand held on to her waist.

'How can I slip off seat belt so easily?' Sky thought to herself.

"How can I price my wife with food, vehicle, shares, and villas? You. are. PRICELESS."

"You know to talk well." Sky pinched him and sat back but their car was stopped before they could leave the traffic signal.

Arlo parked the car aside as the cop asked. The latter knocked on the window and spoke after it rolled down.

"Indecency while driving in traffic. I will have to write a challan... Miss. You should be a good example to society. If you distract the driver, with your life, driver life will be in danger with others' life."

Sky was dumbfounded. Arlo pursed his lips while his men surrounded their car scaring the sh*t out of the cop.

Sky finally found her voice, "Sir! I didn't do anything so why are we paying fine?"

The cop wanted to ask if he offended any high profile person but hearing her question, he responded gingerly. "I... I saw you kissing this person."

Sky turned to Arlo, "When did I kiss you?"

She saw color draining from cop's face seeing another set of people coming.

Sky grinned and spoke again, "Sir! The last time I kissed him was three hours back. Peeking into somebody's bedroom is indecency but not kissing him."

It was Arlo's turn to be stunned.

His main guard showed Arlo's card which made the cop go weak on knees. He apologized multiple times and even tried to explain that he didn't peek into their bedroom.

Sky burst into laughter holding her stomach as Arlo drove looking at the shameless side of his wife.

He also knew she said to confuse him and by knowing she would never see him again in her life. If the cop was known, his question would have made her turn red.

His lips turned up to the mischievous curve and spoke, "It's just three hours, It seems like you are already missing me."
