Chapter 601 - Are you fine?

Sky shook her head. "I'm fine. I'm getting the feeling of something will happen... Wait! Let me call Dad."

Sky released from his grip and called him. Even after talking she wasn't feeling fine. She called Ryan, The latter received the call dismissing the meeting. After telling him to be safe, she hung up.

Arlo canceled her meeting in the meantime and took her home thinking it must be because she was away from home for many days.

By the time Sky reached home, She received a full report of Harley's working projects and nothing had any problem. She asked everything to managed properly and hung up.

Ryan had returned after Arlo's instruction and they spent time together. They engaged Sky in Ryan's room decor.

Every time she used to do it alone but this time, Arlo and Ryan sat with her in Ryan's room discussing every small thing of interior decor.

For not to make them worry, Sky thought to herself as she must be overthinking and ignored it.

After deciding everything, They had time for dinner hence the trio went out and chose a chandelier for his room, other lightings, and decor items personally.

The trio even painted the walls after dinner. It was Ryan and Arlo's first time doing it but Sky had done it when she worked as Rony's assistant in a few events and her craft room.

Seeing her back to normal, Arlo relaxed and saw the other two playing with paints. He had to forcefully carry her seeing them not stop.

"Ryan! Don't sleep here. Go downstairs. And we will select pictures tomorrow. I will..." Ryan could only hear till that.

He looked at the wall. It was no less than a designer wall.

Sky and he had painted a base color and after it dried, she used paper tapes on the wall to randomly put it on. Then topped with a darker color. After it dried, she removed the tapes for the final look.

Seeing it, the happiness he felt couldn't be received even if he could successfully acquire multiple companies or earn billions of amount.

Some times he used to think why Sky didn't buy gifts and make herself wasting time on it. After seeing the wall, the sense of satisfaction told him the difference.

The next day everyone got to know her instincts weren't wrong.

Since the meeting was canceled and many works left out the previous day, they went to Harley and all Arlo's work shifted to Harley.

Sky had finished all the meetings after lunch and was checking on a few files when Arlo turned on the news channel which was reporting series of road accidents happened in the city.

In nine cars crash, five were dead, three were heavily injured, six were wounded. While she glanced again at the television, she found one Bently's number familiar.

She called Sam and gave him the number to check the owner. Arlo furrowed his brows hearing her.

When he had asked the previous night, she had replied 'I'm fine. It must be because everything is so good that I may be a little insecure for losing it.'

"Why are you again worrying unnecessarily?" Arlo had got up hugged her feeling helpless.

It wasn't like she wanted to worry and think too much. "I'm sorry."

He was about to leave her to work, Sam called which Sky picked up on the speaker. "Sky! It's under James Jeff. Why did you ask me to check?"

Sky who was sitting abruptly stood up hearing Sam, "Sam, is it possible to know who was in the car? It was in the car crash which is all over the news."

Sam responded and hung up to check.

Sky immediately called James but it was not reachable. She called Ethan and he didn't receive it. For unknown reasons, she didn't dare to call Mrs.Jeff.

She again tried to call Ethan and an unknown voice sounded. "Hello! The user of the mobile met with an accident and is in the City hospital right now. If you are an immediate family, please come to the hospital or help us by calling their family. Thank you."

The call had hung up, Sky took few seconds to say it, "Ethan is in hospital. Let's go."

Arlo left with her and they got a call from Sam saying James and Ethan both were in the car.

It was the first time Sky asked Arlo to use his influence to stop the news about Jeffs' to keep the news under wraps because Harley wasn't that influential.

Arlo tried to keep her calm, "You don't have to request, Say it or order it, I will do."

Sky nodded and sat on the backseat of the car as Peter drove and Sam tried to fetch the video of the accident but there was no nearby defined camera in the network.

The accident happened due to sudden change of lane by a car. Since the accident happened on high speedway, it resulted in seven other cars to collide by the blocking of two lanes.

In another car, Clark and Maxwell were coming. David had got the news hence he was also on his way.

After reaching they got to know James was in operation theatre and Ethan was out of danger with wounds but he was unconscious.

Arlo reported Sky that the airbag which was at James's side didn't open on time. Due to delay, he was hit to the front and then backside before another car crashed to their car.

The hospital was in chaos, Sky stopped Arlo from blocking the floor as other patients were also important who were being treated due to accident.

All waited for more than an hour, the operation was still going on.

Sky excused herself to go washroom but she had to use the public washroom which was on the floor.

Arlo's eyes were glued on the lady's room door until she exited and sat next to him. He rubbed her head, "Don't worry." and heard a hum.

For no reason, he had an urge to wipe his palm. He shook his head to disperse thoughts and remained calm.

After about a few minutes, he saw Sky calmly sitting next to him but he didn't feel it as right. "You! are you fine?"

He again heard a hum.

He kneeled in front of her to face and held her arm, "What's wrong? What happened?"

It attracted Sam and other attention including David.

"Nothing! I'm just tired." She responded blandly holding his hands to assure him.

But Arlo shrugged her hands and slapped her hard from which Sky almost hit on the wall.
