Chapter 602 - My wife is missing

All were baffled. Arlo held her up by the collar, "Where is Sky?"

He roared so loudly that all ran to them. Sam and Peter separated them quickly.

"What the f**king hell is wrong with you? Can't you see her?" Sam's fist was held by Arlo before it reached his face.

Sam saw his face turn darker by every second which they never saw. He looked just like the rumors said.

Horrifying!

David helped Sky who was crying. David glared at Arlo, "Arlo! Have you gone out of your mind?"

Arlo ignored them and turned to his guards, "Lockdown the complete hospital. RIGHT NOW."

There was no hint of warmth or gentleness in his voice or eyes. It had been a long time, his guards had seen him so imperious.

Then he pulled Sam next to Sky by his arm and pulled Sky up by her collar from David's arms. "Look at her carefully! Is she Sky?"

Sam tried to compose knowing Arlo wouldn't react for no reason whereas others were baffled and started scolding Arlo.

But seeing Sam giving another tight slap to Sky everyone became mute.

Both men never raised their hand on a woman. It was about Sky and they could flip everything upside down for her.

Sam knew Sky's reactions too well. If Sky got slapped by Arlo, she wouldn't just sit and cry in David's arms and would never complain to Sam about her husband 'Sam! What's wrong with him?'

Instead, she would be concerned about Arlo for his sudden reaction.

Her voice almost sounded the same but traces of another voice could be realized if heard properly.

The face was the same but the natural delicate skin of Sky was different.

If Sky cries, her eyes rims, nose, and cheeks turn red but the woman in front of them had only one cheek red which Arlo slapped.

David who got up to stop didn't move.

Arlo who took a few steps, came back to get the finger ring but he wasn't able to remove it. He was too rough on her unlike how he treats Sky.

That woman who was excited to see him initially didn't dare to look at his face. If Sky really sees him in that state, she wouldn't dare to go near him either.

Sam checked the location of her pendant and realized the woman had Sky's pendant.

"She had taken Sky's chains." He told to Arlo as they knew how much importance Sky gave to them.

Sam turned to Peter, "Check every security camera here now."

Arlo who heard Sam took the chains back and ordered his one of the guard, "I don't care if you cut her finger or not, I want the ring unscathed when I see you again."

The woman started to wail louder, "Arlo! How can you do this to me? I'm Sky Harley. Your wife."

But all ignored her and guard kept hold of her hand to forcefully remove the ring. Another guard went to hold her in place and found a dagger. After keeping aside they checked her once.

Arlo saw David in a daze in the same place for long that wasn't good for his health. He pulled the woman up showed the left-hand forefinger, "Dad! I'm sure you know Sky has a mole here."

David nodded. Arlo threw the woman down and held David's arms, "We will find Sky. Don't worry. we will find her."

Arlo glanced at Clark who took care of David. Before Arlo could leave, Clark spoke.

"I don't think sister Sky will be still in hospital as it had been ten minutes by the time you got to know. And you should track President Milton and Director Franklin of Harley, Sister Sky had told us to keep an eye on him as he was behaving weird in every meeting from more than three months."

Arlo nodded and David spoke, "I don't think it's a new plan. They must have waited for months to get this opportunity. It's not as simple as blocking the hospital... Inform Jai."

Arlo had already analyzed it. He was about to leave the place, A tall and muscular man stood in front of him. He showed his identification card. "Are you sure she is not President Harley?"

Arlo gave a nod. It wasn't out of expectation to see a military officer around Sky.

Arlo quickly called Ryan. "Mobilize all my force. Stop all the flights including private jets. Choppers, that are in the air and will be in the air. Check every vehicle which will leave the city. My wife is missing."

He hung up and called a string of numbers. Without waiting for a response he spoke, "I will pull my economic support from Country A if you don't shut down the capital now. I NEED FULL FORCE."

"No buts. I am giving you five seconds."

A nurse who was passing by shivered continuously without daring to look at him. Not only the nurse even Maxwell and Clark also jerked hearing his grave tone.

Arlo hung up the call after receiving the response.

He called Jai and reported it but the latter didn't give any response and hung up the call.

When Arlo's hand glided on the woman's hair and his urge to wipe his hands was because Sky never uses hair sprays unless she has to do complex bun hairstyle. Her hair was naturally silky and soft which she was managing without chemical-based products.

When Sky gets nervous, she would tap her toes continuously. It would stop only if she holds somebody's hand who she trusts. But that woman had no such reaction.

He thought she must have faced any problem and he asked. Her eyes told something and she spoke something else.

Those eyes widened in amazement looking at his face but Sky would see his eyes and that woman's voice sounded tiring.

When she held him, He saw Sky's ring was too tight on her finger and he again had an urge to wipe his hand where she held.

If he had time, he could have found hundreds of difference excluding the artificial look of her face.

Sky had told him she was feeling something going to happen. When he heard about James and Ethan in the accident, he thought her intuition must be right. But he never thought Sky to disappear in thin air.
