Chapter 605 - Some psycho lover

'Sam? Loran? Dad?....' She asked about everyone and made video calls to let them relax as they went out and she purposefully played dumb without asking about kidnap. Because if she asks, they would still keep on working without rest.

She was taken to the hospital for the blood test since she was injected with an unknown solution. In the meantime, she spoke with Mrs.Jeff and Ethan who didn't know she was kidnapped.

Once the preliminary blood report said everything was normal, Jai and Arlo took her to the Harley mansion after sending Peter and others to rest. Ryan went to Sigma to handle a few things related to the kidnap before he went to the Harley mansion.

Olivia was kept in the dark. Sky met David and Loran who was anxiously waiting in Harley mansion even though she made a video call to them. Loran had ignored Jai's warning and reached the Harley mansion to see Sky.

She calmed down everyone but Arlo was still humming to whatever she said. After lunch, She sent Jai to rest. Loran went to his branch studio in the capital and she took Arlo to their room.

"Arlo!" Sky tried to talk but he ignored, "Get fresh first."

He took her to the bathroom and filled the bathtub, "Take a bath. I will shower."

She saw him entering the shower cubicle and sighed resignedly. She entered the tub thinking to talk to him later.

When she was kidnapped, she was sure they had no intention to hurt and she knew she would be saved. There was hope for her.

She knew what others went through searching for her. If just an hour of knowing Loran kidnapped, she ruthlessly took her handgun to the location she got and went through so much pain, eighteen hours was too much to handle without knowing the location.

They would have no hope, even if they have hope to find her they couldn't hope to see her unscathed.

She was in deep thought when her hair knot was opened and she knew it was Arlo.

"Arlo!" She just heard a hum. "I'm sorry, I will never stop you again when it's about safety."

She again heard a hum. She had continued to talk generally but she heard only hum or no as a response.

Once she thought to leave him alone for some time so that he would be back to normal. But she also knew he wants her to be around. So when going bed to rest, she didn't leave him and slept in his arms as usual.

She had held on to him so he couldn't leave even when he got the call. Arlo had to wake her up for dinner. She didn't get up, "It's okay we can skip dinner. I'm not leaving you until you don't feel insecure."

Arlo looked her who was stubbornly holding his t-shirt in one hand and the other hand held on to his hand.

It was true he was insecure when he got to know Sky was missing. When time passed and they were still circling the city to get her, he was losing hope.

Many thoughts crossed his mind. He had fought with himself to keep his cool, to be rational.

Thought of losing her was making him hard to breathe.

He had checked the cars, offices, showrooms, buildings and numerous places that he even had lost counts and searched like a mad man. While others were getting tired, they were drinking water, he would think whether she got anything to drink, did she eat anything etcetera.

He wasn't angry at her for stopping him because that was Sky who would have concern for people in trouble.

Instead, he was angry at himself because she got kidnapped under his nose and he couldn't get to know until that woman sat next to her.

The thoughts like what would have happened if he didn't identify her for a long time gave him chills. If he didn't order to shut down the capital, would she had left to a different place? There were many such questions.

If he was a little more careful, he could have avoided the incident. But now it was past which he couldn't do anything.

The only good thing was they didn't hurt Sky and the latter was smart enough to sit simply as the two men had daggers.

He wounded his hands tightly and tried to speak, "I was..."

Sky opened her eyes and made him look at her. "It's okay if you don't want or don't like to say it to others. You can always tell me and trust me, I will never make fun of such things. You may be dictatorial President Smith to others but you are also a human being. You also have a heart and it's natural to get terrified when the person you love is missing."

Her voice was warm and sweet but it suddenly changed to domineering as she pulled his cheek hard. "And I'm your wife. If not me, who are you going to tell. huh?"

He couldn't help but let out a light chuckle for the last question.

"Yes! I was petrified." He finished what he couldn't say it earlier.

Sky breathed a sigh of relief seeing his gentle smile at her. "Don't even think that I let you off this life. I will make you pay each day for marrying me."

He almost squeezed her in his hug, "No problem."

Seeing him back to normal she was getting happy but got his first payment.

"What about my payment for today?" Arlo said to which Sky thought for a while to respond, "You washed and dried my hair. Good job!"

She patted as if it was a proud work. Arlo knew just those things were enough to make her happy than getting her expensive big things.

But Arlo flipped her down, "Who said that's my payment? I have my own."

He gave two days' worth before leaving her with swollen lips. Both had dinner in their room and they went out to spend some time with all.

Jai had to return so Loran went with him after nagging Sky. The latter was flabbergasted to hear, 'Don't even go to washroom alone. Take your husband everywhere.'

Before Jai left he instructed Arlo. "We didn't find any clue about who planned. People in your custody are highly hypnotized. Probably it wouldn't be as easy to find... Only two will wish to keep Sky safe even after the kidnapping. Either Milton or some psycho lover. Don't leave Sky alone in public places it doesn't mean you stop her from going out. If you restrict her, she will feel suffocated. The rest can be continued as usual."

Arlo nodded at Jai glancing at Sky who was yanking Loran's hair and the latter was grooming back after she left.
