Chapter 606 - Plastic surgery?

Once they left, Arlo took Sky back to their room but his mind wandered at what Jai said, 'Only two will wish to keep Sky safe even after the kidnapping. Either Milton or some psycho lover.'

Arthur could be handled easily when Sky gets to know about them.

'A psycho lover' who could be smart and patient would be a headache to handle.

Since Sky wasn't sleepy after sleeping the entire afternoon, she wanted work but Arlo sat with her in the balcony. Since she asked, he told her whatever happened when she was kidnapped excluding his warning to the Miltons.

Sky who was in her dome swing chair initially, she cozied up to him by moving to his dome chair as she heard him. She felt heartache knowing what he had gone through and she also knew he was just telling process more than about himself.

Before she fell into a deep slumber, she had mumbled to him in her sleep. 'Why are you so good to me?'

The next day, they first went to the hospital to meet Ethan and James.

James narrated the whole story which Ethan couldn't continue because he blamed himself for the accident.

"Since we went to the city S for inspection of our hotel, We had left the car in the airport and picked the same while returning back to the hotel from the airport. Ethan was at the right speed. He even stopped the car on time but the car behind us smashed from behind. The airbag at my side didn't open, My head got hit. The force of crash made the car turn cross and another car hit on shotgun seat door. Luckily by that time window side and front airbags were open... I could only remember that."

"Sky! Don't worry about us. You and President Smith already helped us too much. And I heard from the secretary that news about us isn't out. Did you handle?"

Sky patted on James's hand which was holding her hand, "No! President Smith han... My husband handled it."

When she said 'President Smith', Arlo kicked the chair leg which she was sitting to remind her. After reframing it, Sky faced him to ask, "Happy now?"

James and his wife chuckled looking at them. Arlo kept his poker face.

After some more talk, Sky went to meet Ethan who was checking on a few office files. "Hello CEO Jeff."

He gave a faint smile to Sky and closed the file. Both men didn't acknowledge each other.

"Don't you have an office? Why are you here?" He asked with a gloomy face.

Sky pouted, "Why are you behaving like a big brother? Wait..." Sky held his head and checked all around rotating his head.

"You aren't hit on the head, right? Should I call for a second-round examination?"

He held her hands stretched neck, "Sky! One day you will really break at least one of my bone."

"Get well soon. Then I will arrange that one day after reserving a VIP ward for you in the orthopedic section." Sky said proudly that she would break his bone.

Ethan looked at Sky and then at Arlo who was enjoying his wife bulling another man.

Ethan again turned serious, "Sky! You were the first one to call and reach the hospital but when I woke up, you weren't there. That's not so like you."

Sky looked at Arlo and was thinking what to say, Ethan continued hesitatingly, "My secretary said you... you were dragged out by guards who had Sigma logo on their blazer and you were crying."

"Tha..." Sky couldn't finish.

"She wasn't My Wife." Arlo finished as his face turned a shade dark.

Ethan smiled awkwardly hearing the cold tone, "My secretary must have misidentified."

Sky sensed Arlo's grip on her hand tightening after holding. She covered his hand as she lightly patted.

"I haven't seen her but that woman looks like me. And... I was kidnapped a day before. They got me an hour before I met you yesterday."

"What?" Ethan was stunned. He spoke after half a minute of analyzation, "How can anybody else look like you? You are a single ch... Plastic surgery?"

Sky didn't have the answer and looked at Arlo, "Yes!"

"Were you again in trouble because of me?" Ethan asked uncertainly.

Sky wanted to open his head to search for the brain, "Then I should say, you were again in trouble because of me by targetting you."

Arlo didn't care what Ethan thought but after hearing Sky, he flicked on her head, "I have investigated about the accident, it isn't related to you. And you were the target of kidnap from quite a few months which we are still investigating it."

Both sighed hearing him and knowing another one wasn't in trouble because of themselves.

If Ethan and James's accident was to lure her out then she would probably stay away from everyone to keep them safe.

Sky was thinking to arrange somebody for helping Ethan at the office but after seeing him handle everything, she could only say, "If you need any help, do tell me okay? And where is your mobile?"

Ethan perplexingly gave her. She listed her number in emergency contact with James and Ethan's uncle number before returning it to him.

When she had heard the nurse say call their family she understood, Duffer Ethan must have left an empty emergency contact list.

After a few more minutes, On Sky's demand, Arlo took her to his warehouse to see the fake faced woman.

Sky thought inside must be rotten, rusted machines but after entering inside, she couldn't help but ask, "Aren't you treating such people lavishly?"

After going underground, she understood it was a living hell. She could see different types of torturing equipment. "Arlo! You are very scary."

Even though she said it looking around, she had clutched his arm. Arlo knew the reason why she said it so he didn't mind as she was still holding on to him than running away.

A man reported to Arlo, "Sir! When we tried to hypnotize back, one man lost his mind and it may be the same for others but none seems to remember the mastermind or about themselves. If we ask they are saying, 'Please be quiet.'..."

Sky added, "Yeah! They told me the same. I felt like they were repeating one dialogue as a robot."

That man greeted Sky, "Hello Madam! Yes, you are right. They are all psychologically affected."

Sky smiled awkwardly, "Treat me as invisible. No need for the greeting. Especially this type of place."
