Chapter 656 - To attack Arlo(1)

Arlo thought Mia might wake up Sky but the latter pulled her into arms and mumbled a short story in a half-asleep state. Soon little girl was sound asleep surprising him.

He whispered in Sky's ear that he would go down for lunch and left after hearing her hum and giving a hug.

When others got to know that both slept hearing Sky's story about her visit to a hill station, they weren't sure how to react and had their lunch quietly. Sam dropped Mia's homework before leaving the Harley mansion. 

Arlo brought two plates of lunch to the bedroom and woke up Sky first. He fed her before he laid her in the bathtub. Mia who always liked to eat herself made him feed her as he heard a few stories about her little brother Ean.

Sky noticed them after coming out of the dressing room and sent Mia downstairs after her lunch to reward her husband lavishly before joining others.

With Mia, their weekend was full of laughter, games, and fun. Arlo felt like he was looking after two kids. He always took care of Sky even though she wants to do it by herself. Seeing them, Mia was requesting the same.

Ryan and Mia would sit and fight with each other verbally. Sky would roll on the floor seeing the wittiest man having no answers for the child's questions. Olivia and David were content looking at them play and would break into laughter seeing the news about three on the television which were a stark contrast. 

Ending the day with a long video call to the Barton family. All went to bed.

Harley technology was on full swing, gaining more different field customers. Importantly they became an eyesore to many software security companies who were trying to claim the methodology and ideas belongs to them and Harley stole from them.

Eventually, Harley legal team made those companies pay a few million for the wrong accusation, defamation, time and resource consumption of Harley corporation. Due to which two companies closed down going bankrupt.

Sky successfully got the right location to open an outlet in Country U and Country P for Harley diamonds as a startup before they could plan to open the branch in that country in later years.

Sky didn't want to make it big as those weren't their turf and it was just a kick start. Since they got an outlet in the famous malls, they didn't make much publicity excluding newspapers, magazine advertis.e.m.e.nts and mentioned in the Harley website and social media.

During the same period Sigma faced a few issues in the Pharmaceutical industry branch of Country U hence instead of sending Vice president or Andy from Harley corporation to country U, Arlo suggested Sky so that both could finish the inspection together.

Sky sent Andy to Country P and both departed to Country U.

Sky wanted to take everyone as outing but Sam was busy with a country Y's client with Jimmy.

Elina's due date was near hence Peter was sent to her ignoring his protests.

Clark and Maxwell never dared to be with Arlo without the other three.

Jai had a case to resolve, Loran was busy with his fifth branch in City M of Country A. Ryan was busy in the headquarters of Sigma hence Sky and Arlo left with his guards and Arlo's one secretary and remote manager of the branch joined.

Even though it was a long flight, Sky and Arlo rested well together hence they weren't tired much. Arlo took her to his villa instead of the apartment as Sky already knew his identity and the security at the villa regency was higher than the apartment. The other two were in the Sigma industries' subsidiary hotel.

First, Sky and Arlo went to Harley Diamonds outlet. The manager knew Sky as Sky Barton. He gave a quick tour and Sky mentioned some changes asking to complete by the evening before both went to the Pharmaceutical company.

The three batches of the medicines were giving an allergic reaction for the patients.

One of the patients filed a case against them and it proved that the contents of the tablets were different and Sigma got a week's time to give proper statement else they would ban the Sigma Pharmaceutics in Country U with other charges which would affect the other all branches of Sigma.

Sigma Pharmaceutics first took all the three batches medicines back to the lab with the other two batches which were manufactured before and after the three batches.

Sky went through all reports with Arlo even though he told her to rest. She got to know the basic condition of the situation. But she couldn't understand about pharmaceutical drug and medicine contents.

The manager in shotgun continued to report that their lab wasn't finding any difference in all five batches including the new and old batches saying everything was correct and they couldn't understand how the government lab got the different test results.

Arlo heard him but didn't reply.

His secretary drove them to the lab. Arlo didn't allow her to enter the testing area. He wore the white lab tester suit and face mask before going in.

Sky had six guards around her to protect which was attracting too much attention.

Sky wanted to go in but she didn't want to trouble him as the problem should be solved soon.

She stood by the see-through glass and watched Arlo carrying out the test by himself. Sky knew he had quite a few graduations but she didn't know he was good at paramedics too.

While waiting for him Sky heard a voice directing at her, "Ms.Secreatry, Don't you think you are too close to President Smith?"

Sky glanced at the source and saw the manager looking at her before turning to Arlo. Sky didn't feel the necessity to respond and turned to the Pharmaceutical company's managing director.

"Get me the employees list who were responsible for the three batch production and their complete biodata. Thank you."

The manager director knew Sky as Arlo's personal secretary hence he went aside to get the information. "Right away Miss."

Getting no answer, the remote manager smirked at her. "Are you unnamed or do you have any name?" 

That was the first time he got Sky alone without Ryan or Arlo with her. He had tried to get her information but failed miserably.

He never heard anybody address her either. Arlo and Sky only mentioned her identity as a Personal secretary without a name.

He had seen Arlo taking care of her and Sky feeding him toast when he was working. As far as he knew, Arlo never let any women near him, so he was very curious to know about Sky.

Sky glanced at him again and coldly replied looking at Arlo, "Seems like Manager isn't worried about branch but interested in President Smith's personal secretary. Should I revise your works and duties to you? or... How about manifesting my authority?"
