Chapter 657 - To attack Arlo

Sky couldn't understand why he liked to poke nose about Arlo's personal secretary other than worrying about the problem and finding a solution.

The manager knew Sky had lectured a few executives and vice-president in front of Arlo who never questioned back at her. He never saw but heard that Arlo and Ryan were very protective about her hence they never left her alone in the Sigma industries.

Just a few minutes back he heard Arlo ordering his personal elite bodyguards to be next to Sky.

Those bodyguards didn't let him go near Sky and asked to maintain six feet distance to her as Arlo wasn't there.

So the manager had to ground his teeth hearing her icy words.

Whereas Arlo's secretary knew how close Sky and Arlo were. He had seen numerous times Arlo carrying her, carrying their lunch even when Sky would be next to him, Ryan having fun and laughing with her and so on.

He knew well Personal secretary was just a namesake and she wasn't really working. Still, he wasn't a fool to speak it out.

Even if anybody asks him, he would only say her as a Personal secretary, not a single word more.

Sky got a laptop from the managing director from which she mailed the required files to Arlo before returning the managing director's laptop. Sky extended her hand at Arlo's secretary, "Laptop."

She collected it and started working on it attentively. Everyone who knew it was Arlo's laptop was shocked knowing Sky knew Arlo's laptop password. The secretary didn't give any reaction to it so as bodyguards.

Sky soon filtered a few employees list before Arlo exited. He thought Sky must be helping him to draft out about his work hence he closed the laptop and passed it to his secretary before saying to Sky, "Let's go"

Sky nodded and followed him. After hopping in the car Sky heard Arlo ordering his teams to investigate the complaint applicant and government lab employees as he didn't find any problem in the lab test results.

Sky was pondering until she got a flick on her nose and heard him ask, "Should I punish you?"

Only Sky in the car knew what punishment he was talking about and why he said punishment. The manager thought Arlo was strict with Sky too and she was just an employee who was helping out Arlo.

Sky rubbed her nose as she pouted. She took the laptop and passed it after opening a few files, "Mr.President, check about these if you don't find any problem with government lab examiners... Assistant Wilson said DDD pharmaceutical company and our company had some clashes a few years back. Have you checked in that way? Mr.President."

Seeing her pout for threatening her, his lips titled up due to which Sky pinched him hard on his thigh making him lock her hands as he checked the employees' information.

A few were problematic employees and too obedient employees. Three employees' two or three years of employment history was null. "But all tests are a success. Why do you think there would be a problem on our side?"

"Mr.President, I understand that. This I just prepared beforehand if your way goes to a dead end. Early preparation."

Sky replied proudly to which Arlo rubbed her head dotingly and remained silent until they reached their villa.

Sky and Arlo carried out their respective work after lunch. Sky finished soon and checked out the villa alone assuring Arlo that she would be fine alone but he couldn't sit alone and joined her when she was in the study c.u.m library where there were many books.

Arlo explained whichever books were there and they checked other rooms followed by entering the small sunroom where she saw evening roses on the hanging pots.

After torturing Arlo, he lifted her to pluck a rose and eventually she was pinned on the couch.

He nibbled her earlobe as he asked, "Still on Code red?"

He knew her right sensitive places to tease.

She knew Arlo would always give her the priority than anything else so he had left his work to accompany her but she didn't want him to delay his work.

"Arlo... Finish your work."

Her voice was already meek when he had buried his face in her neck. He lifted his head to bite her chin after asking, "That doesn't answer my question."

Sky rubbed her chin as she responded with a question, "What if yes?" 

"I will be punished." Sky giggled knowing what was his punishment. "What if No?"

"I will warm you up."

Sky involuntarily flushed and pushed him aside before getting up and running away, "When you already know the answer to your question, why are you asking me?"

Arlo chuckled following her. He knew her menstrual cycle was over a day before, he just teased her before returning to their boring work. 

Sky helped him with some work before getting fresh and going to the kitchen where he was cooking. 

Arlo looked at her helplessly and continued to cook as they spoke about their previous visit to country U.

She wasn't surprised hearing him not showing any interest to call his seniors.

After some time both heard a window clunking sound and somebody entering inside.

It was autumn and evenings were colder hence maid had closed all the windows before she left so it confirmed Sky somebody entered inside.

Arlo furrowed his brows.

Sky took the nearest tool immediately which was a fruit knife which made Arlo speechless.

Shouldn't she hide behind me getting scared?

Why am I feeling like she is protecting me?

Arlo tried to talk but Sky silenced him closing his mouth and tried to identify where was the sound coming. She heard multiple footsteps from the living room. She picked pepper powder and chili powder quickly and whispered to him with a grim face.

"I will manage to get the handgun from the room, you have to manage till that here. Where are your guards?" She regretted keeping mobile in the living hall.

Sky checked at the boiling soup which could be used on one to splash. She shushed Arlo who was again trying to talk and she saw three shadows holding something and coming near the kitchen.

Arlo always heard about her protectiveness but he understood how overprotective Sky was.

How her brain works quickly under pressure when it's about safety unlike getting on nerves and doing something stupid, panicking or shouting.

He understood she wasn't kidding by saying she was a man in the relationship which included protecting the other one.

Sky had nothing else in mind other than protecting themselves. She saw their shadows next to the door and prepared the knife to throw as soon as they come to vision. 

Sky started to think if the problem in a pharmaceutical company was to get Arlo to Country U to attack him because it was very difficult in Country A to touch him by crossing the security.
