Chapter 665 - Brother Jai is in danger

Sky was texting Sam and others to be on stand by and she would reach in eleven hours but it excluded Peter. "Mrs.Harley! your acting is too bad. About Punishment?... I don't think you want to be a saint so soon." She ran away after finishing it.

Arlo informed his people to check on Anne Lawrence before turning off the mobile. He knew well why Sky went back to Thomson. After hearing her say, 'We will be on toes to help you.', he wanted to be prepared if in case Thomson decides to break up. He wasn't the one to poke his nose in other's troubles, if Sky wants to help, he would do his all to help her.

Both drafted out all the mails and checked all the digital files before falling asleep. Sky was optimistic until she reached the capital of Country A and switched on the mobile to call Jai. She again heard it was switched off.

They sent their luggage to Harley mansion and took the helicopter to town A from the airport. Sam and Peter joined them.

"Peter, are you out of your mind? Why are you coming with us? For god sake, can't you understand, Elina needs you more not those bloody nurses and doctors."

Sky burst out as soon as she saw Peter. The latter was perplexed, "Ms.Sky, There are five days for her due date. Your work is more important. Why are we going to town A?"

Sky got more frustrated hearing her work as more important than his pregnant wife. She took a few deep breaths to calm herself, "Peter, water doesn't break as per doctors gives the date. How can you let Elina under nurse? Sam is there, he will take care, Can you please go to Elina? We still don't know the situation of the problem."

Peter furrowed his brows and said resolutely, "We always prioritized your work and whatever the situation is, I'm coming."

Sky felt her head throbbing. Since he didn't agree for request, Sky had no choice, "Get the hell of the helicopter. I don't want to see your face..." Arlo tried to stop her but Sky flung his hand, "...Do you think I am working for you to listen to you? Out."

Peter grounded his teeth, "Yes! President Harley." He got down and they took off as her tear fell looking at Peter who had clenched his fist as he walked away.

She composed herself and spoke, "Sam! I couldn't get in contact with Brother Jai for two days. He is not in the home." She took a deep breath, "Probably, Brother Jai is in danger."

Sam knew Jai always kept contact with Sky and he understood the seriousness without asking. "Don't worry, we will find him. What's your basic plan?"

Sky bit her lip as she couldn't say about Jai. "I can't go in deep as of now until I confirm in town A..."

"You know about Jai?" Sam and Arlo asked in unison after hearing her say 'Deep'

"What you know about him? Wait, not here. I will ask later." Sky didn't want the pilot and co-pilot to listen to them. "After reaching town A, Sam you check the sports club completely. I will go to his few private places, Arlo, you go home but don't tell anything to Dad and Mom. Give them a random reason as work. Sam and I will reach there."

Arlo wanted to be with her since she said Jai's private place, he understood she wouldn't let it out and nodded. Sam agreed and saw Sky's typed text on her mobile saying check the secret room whose entry was under the lockers.

He gave thumbs up and the trio remained silent. Sky tried her best to remember where and all Jai used to work on the cases to get clues where he could have gone.

Arlo had asked his personal forces to be on stand by and asked to get information on which case Jai was working and his team members' information even though he knew it would be difficult to get.

Undercover special intelligence officers have high authority to get all the information but their name never used anywhere even when they resolve top cases and protect the country from inside just like how soldiers protect the country at borders but if undercovers die, nobody would get to know about them and their information would be buried forever.

Arlo wasn't sure how much Sky knew about Jai, he understood she had some level of understanding about Jai's identity.

Sam just knew Jai as badminton player but when he met him personally and how Jai knew about him so well, he had inspected about Jai and found many open links. He had to ask Jai directly when Jai had stopped him while going through about him. Jai had said, 'I'm protecting my sister with my country.' Then he got to know he was an undercover officer but he didn't know at what level.

Arlo who saw beads of perspiration held her clenched fist and patted, "Don't worry, Your brother will be alright." Sky nodded with a faint smile but when Arlo's finger touched her nerve on the wrist, he furrowed his brows and checked her heartbeat.

It was irregular just like when he checked on the terrace before she was kidnapped. Sam noticed Arlo holding Sky's wrist to check her pulse and asked, "What's wrong?" 

Sky shook her head at Sam and held Arlo's hand, "Don't worry. I am alright." Sam wasn't sure if Arlo was calming Sky or vice versa but he remained silent. After about an hour plus, Three got into three low-end cars and left.

Arlo straight went to the Barton house. Excluding maids, nobody was there as the Barton parents went to the farmhouse. He went to Jai's room if he could get anything informative.

He checked his wardrobe, found nothing other than clothes, he started to check each drawer. When he opened a floor to ceiling cupboard, he saw it was covered with handmade gifts. He knew they were all given by Sky. He wanted to check but he had no time. He checked the rest of the blocks and found nothing other than the Bug detector. He went down and saw Sam entering.
