Chapter 675 - Brother Jai is not waking up(2)

Sky left Arlo and asked him to sleep before going to the washroom. She washed her face and met Loran first. Arlo didn't sleep and followed her. He wasn't sure if Sky was forcing herself to be calm or she was really calm.

Loran had woke up just then when Sky entered, "Sister Sky."

Alex greeted "Sister Sky." Ryan peeked out of the bathroom holding his toothbrush, "Sky."

They saw Sky yanking Loran's hair before twisting his ear, "Were you having fun giving me a heart attack? Which idiot told you to play a superhero for others? Don't tell me you think as strong to handle those gangsters? What do you think I should have done if he had stabbed somewhere else? What were thinking when you..."

Ryan was having fun looking at them. Alex wasn't sure what to do. Loran was whining due to ear pain as Sky actually was twisting his ear as she reprimanded.

He didn't expect her to know he inserted himself when they were about to stab Alex. The latter had told Clark about it clearly and Clark had told her in the forest.

"...Ahh... Ahh... Sister Sky, My ear is really paining." Loran wailed.

Sky left the ear and pressed on it, "Did you thinking when dragger enters your flesh, it won't hurt you? Dumbo, if you play superhero again, forget about waking up again because you will die in my hands."

Sam, Clark, and Jimmy entered inside in their sleepy faces to check on Loran when Sky was pressing his ear, and Loran was asking her what she did to the man who stabbed him. Alex had told him that Sky had taken him to identify the person.

Clark wanted to test how much Loran knew about Sky. "Loran! How about you guess what Sister Sky did?"

Sam shook his head resignedly and yawned sitting on the couch. Ryan quickly washed his face and exited. All were looking at Loran expectantly but Arlo's eyes didn't leave from Sky. 

Loran started his guesstimation, "He stabbed using right hand so right hand. He stabbed my stomach so even if Sister Sky wouldn't stab him, she will cent percent damage abdomen. She may break a bone or two considering Brother Sam and Brother-in-law around her."

Alex was startled and gulped his saliva looking at Sky and Loran in horror.

Others were amazed by Loran's deduction.

Sam signaled Clark to calm Alex and send him out. Clark patted on Loran before taking scared Alex out.

The curious Ryan asked later, "Hey! Narrate me properly now." Loran chimed too.

Maxwell completely narrated from the time Sky saw Loran to her breakdown. Loran had expected it. Ryan understood why Loran and Jai always said her as merciless when it's about them.

But when both heard Sky had cried for nearly half an hour, Loran apologized as he hugged her for letting her go through so much.

Ryan sighed knowing she had to be strong again to search for Jai. He patted Arlo before going towards another room for work.

Arlo helped Loran to the bathroom and back to bed. Sky wiped his face and upper body before helping him to wear a new set of clothes.

She silently fed him breakfast after sending others to have breakfast. Nobody had taken Jai's name till that.

Sky helped him drink water and take tablets, Loran asked, "Sister Sky, now tell me, did you get Brother Jai?"

Sky paused for a few seconds before being normal. "Dumbo! What are you asking?"

Loran wasn't vexed. He spoke his deduction. "Sister Sky! You came right after I was shifted to ICU after the operation. You beat that man but you didn't return to me other than leaving a note."

"Dumbo! I had some work." Sky understood he got an idea but she still tried to refute.

Loran nodded and pulled her to sit in front of him on the bed, "Sister Sky! You had skipped attending an exam at your college just because I had a high fever. Do you think I will believe you if you say you had some random work? Brother Jai isn't receiving our calls from three days... No..."

He checked the time on the wall clock before continuing, "It will be four days in an hour, thirty minutes. So your some work was to find Brother Jai, so you soon left the hospital. And before that, you went to our home and left within an hour which maid already told me. So are you telling me?"

Sky remained silent for a few minutes and poked near his wound, "Did this made you wiser? If I knew, I would have done it by myself."

In fact, Sky knew Loran was smart but he just liked to play around and have fun instead of leading a serious life.

Loran held her hands, "That was a good one." But it wasn't enough to divert his attention.

Sky pursed her lips before asking, "Are you angry that I left you to search Brother Jai? I... I didn't..."

Loran wiped her tears as he answered, "Of course not. Sister Sky, even after knowing Brother-in-law's people hospitalized me, you still came to see me and that shows how much you love your younger brother."

Sky's cheeks turned red due to his pinch. She held his hands and carefully told about Jai.

"After getting to know that Brother Jai was in the forest, we went there with many people Arlo arranged. After a long time, we got to know some bad guys were present in the forest too. They attacked Brother Jai and his friends. While saving themselves, they went into the deep forest. Brother Jai was hurt when we found yesterday evening. Then he was operated in the local hospital before we shifted here at dawn time. I haven't seen Brother Jai yet."

Loran had many questions but he asked, "Sister Sky, you aren't lying to me. Are you?"

"There is no single lie. Regarding other details, we can talk later. First, you recover properly. Then we two will beat Brother Jai for making me frightened."

Loran decided to ask later and smiled to make her feel better, "Sister Sky, why do you want to beat everyone? Thank god you are a girl else we would have to live in the hospital."

Sky had purposefully said it and sighed. "Sleep now." She helped him and called the nurse who was waiting to give him an injection.

Sky left after making sure Loran slept. After exiting, she met David who was worried sick after knowing she had gone to the forest to search Jai.

Sky consoled his father before asking to shift her all work to the hospital and asked him to rest as he had worked two days in the company under stress.
