Chapter 683 - We can go back home

Sky very slowly moved her hand noticing him bat his eyelids weakly and looked at her and Loran who were standing together.

All noticed a feeble smile on Jai's face as Sky's hand moved. All sighed a breath of relief realizing Jai woke up.

Loran quickly raised the upper bed part as Sky took a glass of water and helped him to drink a little before she spoke, "Brother Jai if you don't remember us, I'm going to jail today after killing you on the bed."

All broke into laughter hearing her but Loran and Sky expectantly looked at Jai. The latter took time before asking, "Little... sister... Why did... you... scream?"

Instead of answering, Sky complained as her eyes got wet, "Brother Jai, You are very cruel. Do you even know what we went through when you were sleeping? How can you do this to us? You are ruthless. Were you enjoying torture us? Didn't..."

Loran hugged her as he patted her hearing her continue. Jai was too weak to even raise his hand. The nurses who had rushed in hearing her scream brought all the doctors inside the room.

Loran and Arlo brought her out as she started crying, "If I knew he would wake if I scream, I would have done on day one itself."

Others didn't know what to reply to her for that. Sky soon stopped crying and asked Loran to call George.

Arlo wiped her face as he saw the brightness in her eyes back which wasn't present for hell long time.

All doctors checked and came out after a long time. Instead of Arlo, they smiled at Sky, "Young Madam! Your brother is perfectly fine other than weakness. Let him stay here for tonight. We will carry out some general tests again and discharge tomorrow."

Sky knew Jai was hearing them hence she loudly asked, "How about we tie him up in the hospital for some more days and torture him?"

The doctors couldn't help but chuckle. Others did the same thing.

One of the doctors spoke, "Mr.Barton woke up because of you. Young Madam, you can do however you want."

Sky ignored his comment and thanked them before entering and standing in akimbo. Loran ignored Jai and sat on the bed playing on his mobile. Others lightly talked with him before sitting here and there. 

Jai called Sky near but she went next to Loran and sat with him. Both were showing themselves as anger.

Arlo shook his head resignedly but suddenly he asked, "Sky, why did you scream the first time?"

Sky looked aside. She didn't want to answer as she knew all would laugh.

Loran asked too. Followed by Sam and Clark. The rest chimed in together.

Sky bit her lip and spoke, "You guys shouldn't laugh at me if I say it."

Sam analyzed, "So it wasn't because of a bad dream."

Sky shook her head and all became even more curious to know.

Jai also waited for her to answer. Loran shook her violently to get the answer.

Sky pointed at the chord and turned red in embarrassment before saying as "I thought it was a snake when I opened my eyes."

All tried their best not to laugh but Peter let out a sound and all burst into laughter. Arlo and Jai had a teasing smile on their faces looking at Sky. 

A light porridge was soon brought in the room. Sky fed Jai with a grim face.

Whenever Jai opened mouth to speak, she would stuff his mouth with a spoonful of warm porridge after blowing it to cool.

Soon Ryan, Olivia, George, Georgia, and David reached the hospital. All talked to Jai as Georgia cried saying he had scared everyone from past days.

Jai apologized to all for worrying everyone. Sky and Loran behaved like they didn't hear him.

Sky stood behind George as she encouraged him to scold on and on for troubling everyone. Jai didn't rebuff for anything as his eyes stayed on Sky who was avoiding eye contact with him.

All stayed till dinner and ate before leaving. Arlo stayed behind with them. Jai could understand Sky ignoring him but Loran couldn't hold for a long time but seeing him controlling himself, He asked Arlo, "Did Loran do something?"

Arlo nodded before Sky could stop him.

She snorted and turned towards Loran. Sky sat next to Loran until he slept. When she was leaving, Jai held her back, "Little sister, how long are you going to be angry?"

Sky shrugged his hand and got down as she said, "You can't tolerate for a few hours. Guess how I and Loran had to be strong for forty-one days."

By the end of her line, her voice had cracked and she left pulling Arlo out of the room.

Arlo pulled her to embrace as she cried. He knew well both were trying to make him realize how it feels to staying in front and still keeping mum. He also knew Sky would start crying if she sits and talks with Jai who was weak.

Sky didn't cry for a long time. She wrapped her hands around him as she said, "We can go back home."

Both got fresh and went to bed. Arlo noticed her sleep didn't break even once that day, unlike past weeks.

Jai took Loran's mobile and called Sam when Sky exited. Sam was awake when he received the call from Loran's number. 

Jai spoke when he answered, "Jai here. Can you brief me on what happened after Sky returned from country U?"

Sam hummed but he asked his question, "Will you be able to take it if I say?"

After hearing Jai hum, Sam spoke in a very cold tone, "Sky informed us to be on standby before leaving Country U. We went to town A, Sky checked all your places and I checked your club. Then Sky checked your library and came out crying and you were the reason. After relaxing, she decoded your location from your dairy. She had told to Arlo to check on Loran and we got to know he was stabbed in the stomach the same day and operated. We flew to city M to see Loran then to city G to the forest Carsol...."

Jai thought only he worried Sky. He understood both pushed her to very extreme. His heart ached terribly for her.

"Did my little sister really let off the man who stabbed Loran?"
