Chapter 697 - Did you forget you are President Smith?(1)

After arguing with all on deciding the venue for Jai's wedding, Sky successfully convinced to hold a wedding in Country A's palace.

Their theme was a Winter Wonderland.

When Sky explained to all including Rony, all fell in love with the theme instantly.

Jai was dumbfounded when he saw the budget of the wedding including the venue cost and all personalized things from the wedding card to the smallest decoration piece. He tried to stop but Sky, Loran, and Ryan had laughed at him.

It was a private wedding hence no unnecessary people were invited to the wedding. Azure was taking care of all arrangements under Sky, Loran, and Rony's guidance.

Sky had designed the bridesmaid dresses matching the theme and sent it to Samara for her maids as she didn't know what they were doing. Jai and Samara didn't want to try their outfit and check on the wedding day which Sky designed to keep it suspense for themselves.

Arlo who saw Sky excitedly arranging everything including every detail felt the need of holding a wedding for themselves which he owes her from a year.

All were lazing after dinner in the living hall when Jai returned after his dinner date. All were confused seeing Jai stand in front of Sky pulling her up, holding a groomsman invitation box. But the difference was it had 'Groomslady'

Sky pouted and spoke before Jai, "Brother Jai! I'm married. How can I be part of groomsmen? Why didn't you marry before me?"

Jai chuckled, "You are married but unwed. Bridesmaid and groomsmen should be unwed."

Sky grinned hearing she could be part of the groom team and took the box before Jai could finish asking, "Will you be my Groomslady?"

All were chuckling seeing Sky giving her brother a hug and announcing excitedly, "I'm attending the bachelor's party."

She skipped towards Loran showing their matching suits and outfits which were for a wedding, prewedding shoot, and reception. The difference was her outfits were designed by AG who added fine details of lace on shirts and replaced usual men's tie with ladies' tie.

Seeing Jai ask Arlo for Groomsmen and he accepted, Sky humorously commented, "Brother Jai! Your Best man is Loran and the Best woman is ME. Groomsmen are Ryan and Arlo. So your complete wedding depends on us. You better look after us too with your military wife."

Jai pinched her cheeks seeing her happy just by being part of Groomsmen. 

Balancing both Jai's wedding preparation and the office she was tired and fell asleep on Jai's lap hearing them.

All smiled seeing her and dispersed to their rooms as Arlo carried her to their room...

Jai's bachelor's party was grand on beachside which included yacht party. Jai's many friends attended including Sky who was tired of laughing all the time hearing their crony jokes.

It also had Sky's friends who were men and Loran's friends who were on good terms.

Full day activities were breakfast at golf, attended concert nearby, lunch on lazy river rafting, Yacht party till dinner time. Dinner at the beer garden and ended with long night Casino.

All men were drunk by the end. Sky had to make sure all reached their room safe and sound and tightened the security before going to bed where Arlo was asleep. Sky first time saw him drunk and asleep.

She was surprised to see him still on senses to make sure she was the one who went to his arms for sleeping.

There was a day left for the wedding when Arlo received a call saying there was a problem in the construction site of the museum hence he and Ryan had to visit so Sky tagged along from the office.

Loran was busy with decoration in the palace. Sky had ordered Jai to rest so he was in Harley mansion.

Sky saw Harry in the group who had stopped the construction because of the change in the construction material without his permission and it was not up to the mark in quality.

The project head kept arguing it was the good and the same quality.

When Harry was producing the quality test of material, Sky received a video call request from Loran hence she moved away to talk as four bodyguards stood around her.

"Loran! What happened?" Sky asked seeing his troubled expression.

"Sister Sky! In the wedding favor box, they have tied the grey ribbons. Didn't we decide on white?"

Loran pointed the grey ribbons on gift boxes. Sky saw it and nodded, "Grey ribbon doesn't go with the theme, White is better. If they don't have white, ask them to get and change every ribbon."

Loran nodded and ran towards the kitchen and showed her the toppers of dessert which they had created samples for Loran. "Sister Sky! They are saying round also looks like snowflakes, is it okay?"

Sky objected directly. "I want Snowflake Toppers. No round. If they don't have, ask them to prepare overnight."

Loran quickly ordered the main chef and went towards reception decoration items, "Sister Sky, How is this? I didn't like those tabletops so I asked them to use snowflake design on the circular bowl, we can keep those small lights in this too."

Sky liked the idea, "My dumbo is very creative. I liked it."

When Sky continued to instruct, she saw Project head and Harry get into an argument which Ryan stopped and Arlo went through the details.

When Loran asked about the museum construction stage, Sky changed the camera option to the rear and displayed the whole outer view of the five-floor museum.

She was going to change the camera option, Loran stopped, "Sister Sky! Zoom to the fourth floor now."

Sky was confused and looked above, her hands trembled as mobile fell on the ground and ran towards Arlo, "Arlo! Get in..."

Arlo was confused and turned to her who rushed towards him and pushed him inside with Ryan under the roof before wrapping her hands around his neck.

All were confused and looked at Sky. 

Arlo could feel her tremble hence he held her as he gently asked, "Sky! What happened?"

'Bang'

He hadn't even finished saying, A long iron bar weighing tons fell on the ground where Ryan and Arlo were standing.

All froze.

There was deathly silence for quite a few seconds.
