Chapter 33 - Interview: with the boys

-What did you think of Liliane when you first saw her?

[Demos] She's better in real life but I was a little disappointed when she treated me coldly. Guess she wasn't expecting us.

[Grant] She's pretty and I wanted to kiss her right away. Somehow, we must have freaked her out. That's mostly Demos' fault.

[Demos] what do you mean my fault?

[Grant] you scared her with your alpha thing.

[Demos] I was designed that way based on her preference. So it's her own fault.

[Grant] you mean, she secretly wanted a threeway?

[Demos] human mind is a mystery.

-Would you change her for someone more independent and strong-willed?

[Demos] no.

[Grant] If she was strong-will she won't need us. We were made to fit Liliane.

[Demos] I couldn't be happy if she didn't need me and I had to sit around waiting for her orders.

[Grant] yeah, that would be a sad life.

-Grant how's your hand, how did you lived that attack? Was it scary?

[Grant] I'm getting used to my new hand. I was scared that this man would hurt Liliane. I wasn't aware the blade was a plasma one. If I knew I wouldn't have been this reckless. It was very scary.

[Demos] I actually felt the blade cut into him when that bastard attacked. I ran as fast as I could. I was too late.

[Grant] I don't focus on the pain. I was happy Liliane was safe.

-How was it like to meet your maker?

[Demos] I've never experienced restraints. That mute mode was like being caged inside my own body. I never want to experience that again. I don't want to see him ever.

[Grant] He is quite intimidating. He loves his creation that's for sure. I'm thankful he made me so I can meet Liliane.

[Demos] same, I'm happy I meet Liliane.

-What do you do when you're at home alone?

[Demos] I like reading. Liliane gave me access to your digital library.

[Grant] I like when Demos reads me stories. I also like to hang with the other artificials.

[Demos] watching action movies and detective movies.

[Grant] I like romantic comedies and old French comedy movies.

[Demos] why?

[Grant] They are funny!

[Demos] I don't get the jokes.

[Grant] I don't get everything but I still find it funny.

-What about friends?

[Demos] I have Liliane and Grant I don't need others.

[Grant] I have plenty of friends. Lots of them.

[Demos] They wouldn't shut up, it's annoying

[Grant] that's cause want to get to know you

[Demos] Don't wanna

-Are you ok with sharing Liliane?

[Demos] yes

[Grant] we are one so it's not technically sharing.

[Demos] right

-What do you like about her?

[Demos]I like when she's angry when she's shy when she laughs.

[Grant] same, I like when she's being herself.

[Demos]I like to kiss her and hold her in my arms.

[Grant] that too.

-What are you both looking forward to happen between you and Liliane?

[Demos] to trust us and pull her wall down.

[Grant] to sync with her. I want to cheer her and be happy.

[Demos] Yes, and to sync with her. Among others.

[Grant] Others? You mean se⁠—

[Demos] Shut up, it didn't say⁠—

[Grant] But it did cross your mind

[Demos] 'blushing'

-Last question, any future plans?

[Demos] pay off her debts. I want her to be comfortable and stop stressing over money issues.

[Grant] I love Liliane's dream of that little house with a garden. I wish I could give her that peaceful life away from the big city. I wish to hang out and watch the plants grow. Lay in the grass staring at the blue sky without worry.

[Demos] ok, I change my plan to the little house too.

[Grant] You have to pick up one plan not jump into mine.

[Demos] technically it's Liliane's dream.

[Grant] Right! So we agree on the little house dream.

[Demos] yes, we do.
