Huyen Di explained to Su Xiao Ya how at first he thought their meeting was a coincidence and he pitied her. Then over time he had feelings for her.

Su Xiao Ya wanted to call of the engagement, because she thought it wasn’t fair for Huyen Di to raise another man’s baby. Huyen Di told Su Xiao Ya that the baby was their baby, and part of the Huyen Household.

Yue Gu Zai and Su Tang Jue went to the bar to pick up Zhen Zhen and Nan Ma. They didn’t expect to see their wives drunk in a VIP room full of men serving their wives wine. They kicked the men out of the room.

‘In the future, keep a close eye on your wife,’ Yue Gu Zai warned.

‘If you have a good wife then she wouldn’t come here,’ Shu Tang Jue said.

Yue Gu Zai and Shu Tang Jue scoffed and they took their wives home. But they forgot to call William Hill to pick up Helen.

Later at the Yue Mansion, Zhen Wu was surprised to see Yue Gu Zai carry a drunk Zhen Zhen home.

‘Dad, is mum drunk?’ Zhen Wu asked.

‘Where’s your little sister?’ Yue Gu Zai asked.

‘I don’t know,’ Zhen Wu said.

Zhen Wu had a feeling Yue Ni did something to make Yue Gu Zai angry.

‘Tell your little sister to come home,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘If your sister doesn’t come home within two hours then she doesn’t need to come home anymore.’

Zhen Wu called Yue Ni, and she came home immediately. Zhen Wu found out why Yue Gu Zai was angry at Yue Ni. Yue Ni purposely left a lipstick mark on Yue Gu Zai’s shirt collar, and made Zhen Zhen misunderstand Yue Gu Zai had a mistress.

The following morning, Zhen Zhen woke up hungry. She didn’t remember how she got home last night, but she remembered she had two glasses of wine. She walked downstairs and didn’t see breakfast on the dining table. Usually Yue Gu Zai cooked breakfast for her. She walked into the living room, and saw Yue Gu Zai reading a newspaper.

‘Gu Zai, I’m hungry,’ Zhen Zhen said.

‘Cook your own breakfast,’ Yue Gu Zai said.

Yue Gu Zai was angry Zhen Zhen went to a bar to have men serve her wine.

‘Fine,’ Zhen Zhen said. ‘I’ll cook my own breakfast.’

Zhen Zhen boiled two eggs in the kitchen. It was the only thing she could cook that was edible. The eggs tasted bland, and she missed Yue Gu Zai’s omelettes and pancakes.

Zhen Zhen heard the front door open, and she ran to the front door.

‘Gu Zai, where are you going?’ Zhen Zhen asked.

Yue Gu Zai ignored Zhen Zhen because he was still angry at her.

Zhen Zhen pulled Yue Gu Zai’s shirt sleeve.

‘Gu Zai, where are you going?’ Zhen Zhen asked again.

‘To see another woman,’ Yue Gu Zai said.

‘Gu Zai, it’s your fault I was drunk last night,’ Zhen Zhen said and cried. ‘You came home with a lipstick mark on your collar… you’re seeing your mistress behind my back… you’re sick of me… you hate me.’

‘Zhen Zhen, don’t cry,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘That day I went to clean up Xiao Ni’s mess at Ni Sheng. When I wasn’t paying attention, she put her lipstick mark on my shirt collar. I don’t hate you. I only wish you didn’t spend all day in your lab so I can be with you.’

‘Really?’ Zhen Zhen asked.

‘Yes,’ Yue Gu Zai said and kissed Zhen Zhen’s lips.

‘If you’re telling the truth, why are you going out?’ Zhen Zhen asked.

‘I want to go out and buy breakfast for you,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘Eating boiled eggs isn’t nutritious enough.’

‘Gu Zai, I forgot about Helen,’ Zhen Zhen said.

‘Don’t worry,’ Yue Gu Zai said. ‘William picked up Helen at the bar.’

Zhen Wu bottle fed Yue Di Yi because Zhen Zhen and Yue Gu Zai were too busy fighting to feed Yue Di Yi. Afterward Zhen Wu went to college.

Zhen Wu had promised Lucy that he would help new college students enrol in their courses.

That day the enrolment queues were long.

Two of the new college students were Yang Han An and Wu Min Mei.

Yang Han An thought Zhen Wu was the most handsome man she met. She grabbed Zhen Yuan to jump the queue and talk to Zhen Wu.

‘Line up in an orderly fashion,’ Zhen Wu said.

‘Big brother, I need your help,’ Yang Han An said.
