Chapter 467 Song Of Radiant Storm

Name:Biohuman Author:
The rippling blood splatter of Endless Fire and the large orb of Vengeance Death slammed into each other as the Leeching Curse continued to eat its way through the large Cursed energy.

The field of Twilight Void rippled as the silver and blue energy swirled around Keng's feet.

'Alright, Resonance achieved…' Keng nodded. He lifted his arms up, pointing straight at the Vengeance Cursed Dryad. 'A concentrated energy of Water and Light, pointed in one direction. It'll pierce straight through the huge Cursed energy ball, drawing the energy from Lily's altered Radiant Bolt to follow after.' The Resonance energy pulled to Keng's leg, crawling up to his entire body. Water drops and Light began to pull into the center of his hands. The two energies began to mix, creating a silver-blue hue as it swirled like a vortex, drawing energy faster and faster.

'Like the suns piercing through the dark clouds in a storm.' Lily began to play. The tune shifted as she tried to match the energy with what was going to happen. It became a fast, light-hearted piece. Pink light began to spread throughout the night sky below her. She watched as explosions of Gorrum's and Jyu'so's moves against the Dryad's. It was a constant battle to see who would be victorious. The large purple-black energy continued forward. It was starting to pull everything into its vortex as Lily and Keng continued to get a feel for the energy.

'This is going to be anything but clean.' Lily sighed. 'But it'll have to do. This will have to do.'

"Capriccio (Lively). Song of Radiant Storm." The five words were all that was needed for the spell to take effect. The pink light sparked life everywhere. The lively song grew louder and louder. The energy crackled as Lily redirected her attention straight to the humongous ball of energy coming at them. Pink bolts of light flew into the sky. The purple energy ate at the light. Lily could feel the sloppiness and incompleteness of the spell taking effect. She feared it would drain her before Keng could do whatever he wanted to do.

'She released it too early..' Keng clicked his tongue. 'But this will have to do.'

"Resonance: Piercing Vortex!"

The vortex exploded out of Keng's hands, pushing him backwards as his arms flew upwards. Keng pulled the energy downwards, watching as it moved like water. It shook around as he forced his aim at the specific area. The Piercing Vortex immediately pulled all of the energy to its point. Lily's incomplete Song of Radiant Storm pulled in, circling around the blue-silver energy. Twilight Void, Endless Fire and Leeching Curse moved into the vortex, lining up a shaky shot straight into the Vengeance Death orb. The collected energies fought against the death orb, pushing and pulling as the orb slowly started to crack.

Resonance: Piercing Vortex broke straight through the orb of energy, purifying areas of the orb as it flew straight into the heart of the Cursed Dryad.

"ARGH!" The Cursed Dryad shrieked as the energy continued to fly past her, exploding in colorful lights and rain. "No! This can't be! I… I just wanted to correct those who've wronged me!" Keng and the others watched as all of the corruption died in an instant. Yggdrasil's top exploded, shards of wood showering everywhere as Gorrum and Keng shielded themselves from it.

"Woah!" Lily shrieked as she suddenly came to a stop. She pulled her ukulele upwards, trying to shield herself from the shards. Jyu'so flew straight for Lily, shielding everyone from the shards as they all watched the Dryad sway from her trapped spot in Yggdrasil.

"Why couldn't they save me sooner?" The dryad cried. "Why did I and so many others have to suffer? Why?!?"

The Dryad exploded in pink and silver light, scattering all around them. Rain washed over the entire village as lights twinkled all around.

'Is it over?' Keng asked, letting out heavy breaths. His head felt lightheaded. 'Am I…' Keng started to stumble as Gorrum grabbed him.

"Hold still, kid." Gorrum's voice washed over like a peaceful breeze. "You used an incomplete form of what was given to you. You should've trained more for this moment, kid." Gorrum had still found time to "nag" at him about how his form was. "But you did well. It's over."

"Why do I always have to pass out?" Keng asked, weakly. "My head's spinning so hard…" Bright green energy warped in front of Gorrum and Keng, revealing the Priestess.

"It has been done." Priestess Ro'sa nodded. "Come out, you two. It's safe." The emerald staff lit up and two small lights flew out of the staff. Lily's Mother and Healer Chima flew out, landing on their feet as their forms faded from the light.

"We're safe?" Chima asked, looking around.

"Looks like we are for now." Priestess Ro'sa nodded.

"And my husband? My children?" Mother Wang asked.

"They are fine. Your daughter is going to pass out but it's nothing I can't handle." Chima motioned. He moved over and lifted his hands up to Lily. A small halo glowed above her head as Chima turned and did the same for Keng.

"He's in the tree still?" Mother Wang spun around, looking at the broken tree. It looked like it would fall at any minute.

"Do not worry, Akemi. Your husband is still alive. I'll get him out." Ro'sa lifted the emerald staff and began to move her hands around. The tree began to dissolve into a plethora of seeds. They rained upon the entire area, burying themselves in the dirt and regrowing what was lost. Priestess Ro'sa and Mother Wang made their way to the base of the tree, searching for Fan'r.

"Fan'r!" Mother Wang shouted. She ran to her husband who was lying in the middle of the tree.

"He looks like he's still passed out. I will heal him and put him on the staff for the time being. We must attend to the rest of the injured as well." Priestess Ro'sa looked at Mother Wang. Mother Wang nodded and the group began their slow start of gathering injured and dead Villagers and putting them in different areas.

The Villagers poured out of the homes and buildings, working at the Priestess's and Chima's orders. Keng tried to help with clean up duty but was quickly told to sit and do nothing. He had "already done a lot for the village." Lily sat with Keng, plucking the strings of the ukulele as the watched people work all around them.

"Where's my brothers?" Lily looked around. Her heart wasn't into the song she was playing.

"Mmm, they should be around." Keng replied, looking around for the Wang brothers. "Healer Chima said they fled. The Priestess said they got inside alright. They should be around here somewhere."

"Lily?!?" Jacob shouted loudly. Keng and Lily looked up. Keng spotted Jacob first. Bright and Win were nearby, looking around as the three continued to call out for their family members.

"Mom?!?" Bright shouted.

"Dad?!?" Win shouted.

"Where are they?" Jacob turned and made direct eye contact with Keng. He noticed, through the large crowd of people, Keng was sitting with his little sister. "Over there!" Jacob pointed, running.

"Lily?" Bright and Winn asked in unison, following.

"Lily!" Jacob shouted, waving. Lily immediately stopped playing and set her ukulele in Keng's hands.

"JACOB! BRIGHT! WIN!" Lily shouted, waving her hands as she ran towards her brothers. Keng watched the four siblings embrace each other as the older brothers began to check their sister for injuries and asking if she was okay.

"Are you okay?"

"Did you find Mom?"

"Why didn't you stay with Mom? Where is she?"

Her brothers barraged her with questions as they hugged. Keng plucked at the strings, playing some random song he probably heard from Lee Seng.

"I'm fine." Lily tried her best to not cry. "I'm fine. Mom's with Dad and the Priestess."

"Is Dad okay? H-he…" Bright's voice quivered.

"He's fine. Come, I can take you to see them." Lily motioned. She began to turn when Keng spoke up.

"Go see your parents." Keng told her. "I'll keep this and stay here. Go see your brother when you're done." Lily nodded, mouthing, "thank you" to him before she ushered her brothers away.

The dark skies were growing lighter. The Ire fog wasn't anymore and Keng could finally feel some sort of peace.

"She left you her ukulele?" Philip's voice asked. Keng looked over his shoulder, staring at the weak Philip. He moved over and sat next to him, keeping Keng's attention. "She usually doesn't ever let anybody touch her ukulele. She must've missed everyone else then. I'm sad they didn't come check on me right away." Philip joked.

"Are you… Fine?" Keng asked.

"I'm okay." Philip replied. He looked around. The aftermath of the fight was still going strong. "Did you kill it?" Philip looked at Keng. Keng stopped plucking on the ukulele and just stared at him. Philip's eyes, for just a moment, revealed some sort of purple in them. They faded and he tilted his head, waiting for Keng to answer.

"Ah, yeah. The Curse came back but Lily and I killed it." Keng spoke slowly.
