"Urgh!" Lee Seng threw up. He felt extremely tired for using his tails like that. After throwing up, he attempted to wipe his mouth but noticed the dampeners. He lifted his arms out and watched as two tails wrapped around his wrists and squeezed. The dampeners crumbled and spilled to the ground as his tails moved to his ankles, crushing them in no time.
Lee Seng felt the sudden shift in temperature. His body instantly warmed up. He didn't feel AS physically tired, but his lack of sleep was still there. He yawned as light poured out of him. He glanced at the lackey outside and reached his tail out and grabbed him.
'I don't think we should have you there.' Lee Seng thought as he pulled him inside, setting him to the side. 'Time to get out.' Lee Seng glanced at Lackey two for the keys. When he didn't see them, he turned to exit. Lee Seng's foot swung at the keys, kicking them onto the jail cell in front of him. His tail pulled the door closed as he wandered over and grabbed them. He turned his attention onto the exit, eyes focusing on the door.
'I wonder if they even heard anything.' Lee Seng glanced at his clothes. The light had started to dry them off as he pushed the water out. His clothes became dry in an instant as he made his way to the door. He grabbed the door handle and pushed it open, noticing a guy to his right as he opened it.
"You guys are already done? That was—" Lee Seng rocketed the guy straight into the wall, instantly knocking him out.
"What the—" Another lackey said as Lee Seng threw the door open onto him. "Argh!" Lee Seng quickly rounded the door and slammed a tail onto the guy's head, watching him fall over.
'I need to find the watch and that pendant. Where would they keep those things?' Lee Seng wondered. He wandered over to the closest guard and dug through their things, eventually finding a phone.
"Bingo." Lee Seng whispered. He clicked on the power button and noticed there was facial recognition. He groaned and flipped the phone at the guy. He turned the phone back after awhile and noticed it wasn't opening up. "Ugh. Why are you doing this to me?" He bent down and sat the unconscious guy up. He opened his eyes with gravity and faced the phone at the dude.
The phone clicked and Lee Seng immediately turned away from the guard. He served no purpose to him. Lee Seng searched through the guy's phone. He had to have some sort of information on where they put his things. He opened the text messages and noticed a text group. He scrolled for awhile until he eventually found what he needed.
1: "That Fox wore a fancy watch I've never heard about, though."
2: "Rlly? Does it do anything?"
3: "Can we sell it?"
2: "We'll sell it later! Keep the pendant and the watch somewhere safe!"
1: "Yeah yeah. It'll be in its usual place."
4: "What's that place again?"
5: "It's on the sixth floor of the jail building. It's where we keep all of the prisoner stuff."
3: "Why do we put it so far up there?"
3: "What're the prisoners gonna do? Get out and find them?"
4: "It's just in case something like that EXACT situation happens irl."
2: "Boss is coming!"
Lee Seng let out a sigh as he climbed the stairs. He would have to go all the way to the sixth floor, not including whatever these stairs were. They were carved from earth and uncovered. It was literally just dirt and stone stairs carved out. Lee Seng flew up the steps, shockingly not seeing anyone.
'Security sucks.' Lee Seng thought as he watched the sudden 'dirt and stone' stairs switch to the marble stairs and smooth metal railings. Lee Seng flew up the floors, eventually getting to the sixth floor and opening the doors. Lee Seng, without much thought, peeked left and right, going left. He briskly fast walked down the hallway like a mother going on her 'grocery store speed walk routine.'
Blips of gravity flew out of each step, moving about the area as he searched for his items.
'I need that pendant or else I'll be endlessly tortured worst than what these guys did.' Lee Seng thought, turning right. He passed four doors before the pendant pinged. He went from a speed walking mother to a jog, quickly moving to the door and trying the door. It jiggled, not opening.
"Of course it's locked." Lee Seng whispered. He threw his shoulder into the door, breaking it open as the lights turned on. A red tiny light flashed, alerting him that he did something he wasn't supposed to do. "Grab it before they come!" He sprinted into the room, finding the pendant and his watch in a random compartment.
Lee seng ripped the compartment open, grabbing his things and stuffing it into his pockets. Just as Lee Seng began to turn, a sword flew straight past him, embedding itself in the wall as shards of fragmented energy moved past him.
"To think you got out. I should've made sure Master Cesar was thorough." Boss Teresa snarled. She held another sword in her hand as she stepped into the room. "But, I shall do what's needed and make sure Master Cesar and the newest young Master gets what they want…"
Teresa sprinted at him, readying her sword at Lee Seng as he summoned his katana and shot out gravity at her. Teresa slashed, disabling the hit as she continued forward. Lee Seng pulled the sword out, blocking Teresa's next attack, her energy billowing around them. Teresa swung her leg up at Lee Seng, forcing him to jump backwards into the wall.
p "You've barely slept for the last couple of days. Do you think you'll stand a chance against me like that? You don't stand a chance against me." Teresa smiled. The sword next to him shimmered, dizzying him. Teresa stabbed the sword forward.
'He won't be able to get out of this one.' Teresa thought. Lee Seng lifted his scabbard and barely blocked the attack, pushing her attack upwards. In one swoop, Lee Seng swung his katana at Teresa and watched as he landed a cut onto her. Teresa jumped backwards, annoyed at Lee Seng's 'luck.'
"Gravitum: Gravity Slash!" Lee Seng slashed the air in front of him, watching a powerful energy blow the room apart as it passed. Teresa raised her sword up and watched the energy fizzle in front of her. Lee Seng pushed himself forward, giving her no time to react to his true intention. He swung his katana straight for her sword. The katana flew straight through, spilling blood as Teresa released the sword.
"Argh!" Teresa and something else screamed. Lee Seng immediately backed up, pulling the scabbard up in a defensive position.
'Two voices.' Lee Seng thought.
"Argh! You bitch!" Teresa and the voice screamed in unison. Teresa clutched her arm as she cursed. "How dare you!" The air around her began to distort into a darker color. Lee Seng's eyes glowed bright red and blue, revealing the truth. The silhouette of something sinister hovered over Teresa. It clutched its arm as shadowy shades of purple blood dripped in unison with Teresa's wounded arm.
'What is that?' Lee Seng thought. Teresa wailed as she backed up. If it weren't for the silhouette behind Teresa, Lee Seng would've made sure she couldn't harm him. The silhouette finally did something Teresa didn't. It reeled its head backwards as Teresa glanced at her arm.
"How… Dare you… Cut me!" Teresa lashed forward, grabbing the sword and going for a stab. Lee Seng fired a gravity blast, knocking the sword out of her hand and whacking Teresa in the head with his scabbard. Even without his infusion, a loud THWACK echoed as Teresa flew to the left. She slid off to the side as Lee Seng kicked the sword away from her. He spun the scabbed, turning as the silhouette grew darker.
"What is that?" Lee Seng wondered. "Should I kill her?" His watch burned in his pocket as he yelped in pain. "Ow, ow, ow!" He jumped around trying to dig for the watch but only burnt himself even more.
'Yes, I know!' Lee Seng screamed in his head. 'I can't kill her! I have to give her the pendant! Stop burning me!' The heat grew hotter for a moment, burning him even more. It suddenly died, leaving Lee Seng to guess Cain had personally done it to amuse himself.
"Not much get to see what the gift is truly like." Teresa's distorted voice spoke. Lee Seng looked up, noticing the blood had completely stopped. The wound was still there as she oddly was pulled up by the silhouette. "I guess I'll show you the true me, Fox! I'll show you what the next line of evolution is! SAY HELLO TO THE REAL ME!"
