"They'll come for you soon, Queen. What should we do?" Cesar asked in his neat security outfit. Neo, the Deimon butler, casually walked in with a cart of tea and moved to serve the Queen.
"They managed to kill Queenie and they somehow managed to kill Connie." Queen shook her head. Neo handed out her tea and set two sugar cubes in it. He grabbed a small tea spoon and handed it to Queen. Queen took the spoon and stirred the tea. "It'll be a matter of time before I speak to the Master."
"Shouldn't we protect the Master, my lady?" Neo asked.
"That is what the Deimon Guard is for. Let them do it. Our job is yet finished and we are already down two people. Where's Michael?"
"He's still in his room, ma'am." Cesar answered. "I don't know what's taking him so long, but it seems like it's getting louder by the day."
"Are you sure that we should leave him alone?" Neo asked. Queen stopped stirring and the air started to turn cold. Neo gulped and straightened himself out. Queen looked up and leaned into her chair.
"I have put a heavy weight on him. He should be given the allotted time he was given. I'm sure something great will come out of what the Master has asked of him." Queen answered. "For now, I think it's time for tea."
"Yes, my lady." Neo and Cesar bowed. Neo grabbed the car and started back the way he came while Cesar stood there for a moment longer.
"My Queen, I have something I wish to request of you." Cesar asked when they were alone.
"And what is that?" Queen asked after taking a sip of tea.
"I wish to find him and bring him back myself." Cesar answered. Queen took another sip and thought.
"Do not fail me." Queen answered back. "Do not stain my name like Queenie and Connie have. Master is already unsatisfied with how things are going on our end. If you and Michael fail, it'll be the end of me."
"Yes, my lady. I won't fail. You have my promise." Cesar bowed. "After all, I'm the one who trained him and yet he managed to slip out of our grasp. I will tie loose ends."
"It's a shame he overpowered one of us and made out with the extra power… Do not fail, again, Cesar. This isn't time for fake promises. The Master expects results and I want those, understand?"
"Yes, my lady." Cesar bowed, again before exiting. As soon as the door was closed, Queen set her tea cup down and stared straight ahead. Tendrils appeared, forming a person.
"Should I have Neo give you some tea, Master?" Queen asked the tendril-humanoid.
"I'm only here for business, Queen." The tendril-humanoid spoke. It was a female woman with tendrils as hair strands. The color resolved itself, turning into a pale woman with a Dark Matter suit on. Red eyes stared at Queen. These eyes were much older than her and they were easily sensitive to the light around them.
"My apologies, Master. I forgot about the lights." Queen clapped her hands and watched the lights dim in an instant.
"Much better." Master sighed. The Master propped their head up with an arm, leaning into the table while one of their legs swung up onto the chair. "Any progress with what I asked of you?"
"Michael has not come out of the lab ever since I told him to work on it." Queen shook her head. She took a sip of tea before continuing. "Hopefully he'll have something by the end of today like promised. In the meantime, Cesar wants to correct the wrongs of my subordinates, so he's hunting for the young men."
"I heard you went to graciously greet them yourselves. Why didn't you just end it there?"
"A strong power was growing around him and his little… friend. I tried to pierce and move it myself, but nothing would do." Queen answered the Master's question. "I would've surely ended things right then and there."
"I hope your man gets him…" Master sighed. She leaned against the chair, raising a leg to prop up on the chair. "If not, he'll probably come to him. It's only a matter of time." Queen nodded and finished the rest of her tea. She studied the cup as something bubbled up next to the Master. "What is it?"
A floating eyeball flew out and blinked. It turned to speak, but nothing came out of it. The Master simply nodded and then turned to the Queen.
"It seems like he's coming straight to his father as planned. Maybe your guy will be able to capture him before the others do. In the meantime, I'll be watching. Good luck." Master waved goodbye and disappeared with the eyeball.
"So that's how it's gonna be…" Queen shattered the teacup.

Lee Seng and Keng flew over the city. Lee Seng led the way, not paying too much to the city below while Keng took his time to absorb everything. The two had grown a little bigger in muscle. Their Dark Matter suits had blended in with their clothes while their nine tails fluttered behind them.
"The city's so quiet now." Lee Seng commented. "It's strange to see this place become deserted."
"Everyone's hiding and trying to live." Keng responded.
"Or they're fighting near the walls." Lee Seng pointed to the nearest wall.
"Or they're there." Keng pointed at a building coming up. It was Akio's guild. They had made so much progress in a short time. They would soon fly out of the city and head towards the lab.
"Why're people there?" Lee Seng asked, slowing down. He looked at Akio's building and found people entering and leaving the building at a rapid pace. "What's happening there?"
"Do you think your brother is here?"
"That would be one damn fast drive without any problems. I doubt it."
"Should we check? Something… feels off. I-I think I feel some Foxes down there."
"Really?" Lee Seng looked at Keng. Keng nodded. LEe Seng honed in and found himself noticing so many energy readings. "Holy crap… I can sense everything now."
"That's cause you still suppress it." Keng bumped Lee Seng. "You could've smashed the Deimon to bits with one punch if you wanted to."
"I doubt that would be the c— Shit!" Lee Seng threw up a shield as a large rocket slammed into them.
'Where did that come from?' Lee Seng asked Keng. The twins scanned through the smoke. Keng pointed downwards. A blip came from that spot.
'How did that go under the radar?' Keng asked. 'I should've been able to sense that coming from there!'
'A masking ability?' Lee Seng theorized. He shook his head and summoned the Sun blade. Keng pulled the Hydrosphere daggers into existence and the two nodded at each other before breaking out of the barrier.
"Piercing Flash!" Lee Seng cleared the distance in an instant, crumbling the building around him as he swung at the energy. The energy exploded, sending Lee Seng backwards.
"Lee!" Keng began to glow, only to be met bloodlust behind him. Keng turned, watching as a blade of ice screeched between his daggers. Keng pinched it, stopping the icy blade from piercing him.
"Well, well, well." Cesar looked at Keng unamused. "It seems someone else got here before I did. A shame."
"HEY YOU PRICK! I FOUND THEM FIRST!" An African American man appeared beside Cesar. Both of these people had purple eyes. Keng hissed and shattered the icy blade, blinking backwards.
"You gave him a window of opportunity, stupid lap dog." Cesar threw the broken ice weapon away and conjured another one. "Don't get in my way. I was here first."
"He immediately sensed you. Did your Queen not teach you how to mask yourself, security guard?" The African American man barked back.
"I don't have time to entertain someone as low as you, Virgil. Just stay outta my way. I must bring back the Creator's son. They've already taken two of mine." Virgil began to move forward when Virgil laughed. Lee Seng flashed next to Keng, grabbing him while keeping an eye on Virgil and Cesar.
"Two more Deimons?" Lee Seng whispered.
"It doesn't look like they get along." Keng answered back.
"Are you hurt?" Lee Seng scanned Keng, only to be brushed aside.
"I'm fine. He couldn't hurt me."
"You aimed for the wrong one!" Virgil shouted at Cesar. He pointed at Lee Seng and while maintaining his eye contact with Virgil. "That one's the real one!"
"I wanted to get rid of his little pet Fox, first. It's easier that way." Cesar turned. Virgil huffed and turned to look at the twins. "Whoever manages to get the Creator's son first, gets all the glory."
"That's gonna be me." Virgil summoned his pistols. They were laced with purple Dark Matter energy. Cesar smirked, almost letting out an actual laugh.
"You won't be able to get away from me, boy. After all, I'm the one who managed to give your little leader a scar."
