Chapter 120 - Of Introductions and Excitement (3)

"Uhm, Hello. Nice to meet you all," Alexandra said. Since she doesn't know what to say anymore. She showed them an awkward and nervous smile. She gulped and thought about how or what should she do to get along with them or at least give them a good first impression. Although she slightly loosened up and calmed down for a bit, she was still feeling anxious and afraid. It was silent, nobody was speaking or talking. It was like they were waiting for the next thing Alexandra will say.

Christian and Carlos noticed her silence and they don't even know what to do. If they would speak for the young miss, it would look like she is always depending on them or something. Christian standing beside Alexandra stared at her and placed his hand on top of her shoulder which grabbed her attention and made her head turn to his direction. Christian was staring at her with such a gentle and warm gaze as if he was telling and reassuring her that everything will be fine and he is just there beside her in case if she is afraid.

Alexandra witnessing his gentle expression and warm gaze immediately calmed down and regained her composure. She let out a sigh and along with it was her anxiety that she was feeling. "I know this is the first time that you saw me might as well, introduced to all of you. But I am not a bad person nor am I harmful," She started. Crap, I hope I won't mess this up, she thought to herself right after she spoke and hoped that everything will go smoothly just like what she wanted.

Everybody inside the room stared at her without saying anything at all, they were waiting for the next thing that she will say. They aren't that arrogant, rude, or disrespectful to just interrupt a child like her and say some negative things. Even if she wasn't the daughter of the emperor or a noble, they would still respect and listen to what that person will say. That is one thing that the late empress told them, to listen to what anyone will say not because they were servants but that is to show respect towards the person who is talking.

Alexandra fidgeted with her hands and she gulped, all eyes were on her. "Father kept me in the dark and let me live in another palace. It was because he also thought of me like a curse and bad luck but he didn't think of me like that anymore," Well, yeah, that is part of the reason. I don't know why he didn't kill me instead, it must be probably the promise that he made with Diana that he mentioned before. Alexandra gulped once again and decided to continue than to just cut it off or something.

"For 7 years, I lived at that palace with 10 maids who helped me and taught me so many things. They let me be and treated me normally. They didn't think of me like a curse or bad luck. I was close to them and I had so many fun and happy memories together with them. But I wasn't allowed to go out of the palace," She said as she recalled her memories where she still hasn't met her father for the first time. Well, she did go out of the palace but that is with the help of Harrison. Up until now, nobody knew that she already went out of the palace. It was dangerous but fun.

The people listening to her felt pity towards her, to think that a kid like her would just be imprisoned inside that palace walls because of some things. They need to hide her identity and cause some uproar, the right time will come for her to be introduced to literally everyone and know about her presence or identity.

"I first met father a month ago and a few days later after our first meeting, he called me once again and that's where we started to get along and spend some time together. At that time, I also met my brothers who I became close with especially Brother Christian," Alexandra let out a small laugh afterward as she looked at Christian who was staring at her. He had a smile plastered across his lips. "So when father told me that he wanted to introduce me to all of you as his daughter, I was happy and nervous," Now Alexandra was calmer than ever and it seems like all of her fear and anxiety went away.

She was having a normal conversation except that she was the only one talking. Thankfully, she didn't stutter nor bit her tongue not even once while she was speaking and telling them about what happened to her. "I was happy because my father finally recognized me as his daughter and didn't care about anything that others will say but nervous about how will all of you react. Some of you might think of me that I am harmful or something but I am not. I am just completely a normal girl," Except that I have my memories of my past life and some of it was probably missing, she thought to herself and let out a sigh.

"So when I saw all of you in this room, I was completely nervous and afraid of what you would think about me but then I remembered some people who helped in order to overcome all of this. This is just one of those problems that I might encounter in the future and the first step that I will take," At this point, she doesn't even know what she was saying but she thinks that her response wasn't good nor was it bad. It was average, she thought.

"So I hope that I will get along with you all," Then she ended it with a charming and cute smile. Her eyes closing in the process that made her look more beautiful. It was like there were flowers blooming in her background and her voice was very gentle and sweet, it was soothing to the ears. She totally looked like a doll, her porcelain skin, her enchanting blue eyes that resembled the ocean, her silky and long silver hair, and that charming and enchanting smile graced upon her lips. They were captivated by her beauty, her voice, and her personality.

Just like earlier, whispers and murmurs were heard throughout the room but all of it was positive. There were smiles on their lips and their faces were beaming with joy and wonder. Their expressions are bright and filled with joy as they whispered into each other after she spoke. They were completely captivated and charmed by Alexandra.

"To think that his highness kept her in the dark for too long,"

"I want to take care of her in my whole life,"

"The maids at her palace must be really lucky since they can see her cuteness almost every day,"

"She is like a doll,"

"She's beautiful, I wonder if she will be more beautiful as she grows up,"

"She must be lonely. I want to hug her,"

"Her cuteness is way too illegal. It's bad for my heart,"

"Why did His Highness kept a cute little child like her, his daughter to be exact, in the dark and didn't even tell anybody about it?"

"Their bloodline is way too unfair. Why must be every person in their family be extremely good-looking?"

Alexandra had a good feeling. It feels like she gave them a good impression and they already liked her. That is somewhat relieving, she thought to herself and let out a sigh of relief right after. She looked at Christian who was standing beside her, just like earlier, he was still staring at her. Proud and joy written all over his face, he was happy that Alexandra was able to do all of that by herself and not even stuttering.

She just hopes that everything will still go well after this.
