Another week has passed.
Alexandra felt like time was too fast. It feels like it was just yesterday when King Raphael, along with his son, Prince Julian came to visit. Alexandra did the same thing and routine every day and thankfully, she wasn't getting tired of doing these things over and over again. In that one week, Harrison didn't communicate or visit her. He must be busy, like extremely busy since he would usually visit 3 times a week before but now, he didn't even visit not even once for like 5 seconds or something. Elise must be asking him to do some things. I think half of it was my fault even though it's not because we never knew that she had a charm with her, she thought to herself and let out a sigh.
She was exhausted for today. More exhausted than usual because of the things that she did earlier, she woke up rather early and read some books in her library as usual after she ate breakfast. Then after she had lunch, she went to her father's palace for her tea party but there was still an hour or two left before they would do so, so she decided to head to their huge and enormous library. Christian was there, reading all alone while his personal knight was just standing and doing nothing, nothing shocking since she was used to that scene every time she enters the library.
For Christian, the library was his paradise, his heaven. It felt like he was free there, he can do whatever he wants there without no one seeing him and judging him or something. He was free from those people and from talking to them, it felt like he got this personality from Gilbert who completely hates people and talking with them. He thinks that it would be a waste of time and it would be a bother. He would rather read all alone in the middle of the forest than be in any social gathering and talk with strangers there whose personalities were either real or a façade.
Every time Christian enters the library all alone, it felt like he was in a completely different world. Like, just taking one step inside, it felt like he was transported to another dimension which only exists for him since there are only a few people who would come to the library. That library was the main and private one which means people working in the palace like the maids and other servants along with the knights except for their personal knights can't freely enter the library. There is a library for them and it's in another building.
Since the land that the palace have was rather big, there were mansions (residence) and other buildings built. One of those mansions were for the maids, which is the place where they reside. The knights also reside and live in the mansions near the palace but the royal knights reside in another mansion. Most of the mansions are used for the people working in the palace, for the place that they will reside or live in until they aren't working there anymore.
There is also one for the people working in the palace in Alexandra's mansion but it's not as big or as grand as the ones in the Diamond Palace, the maids reside there but Diana resides inside the palace because of some reasons. Carlos and Diana's rooms were not that far away from each other. Honestly, Alexandra was confused by all of these residences, mansions, structures, and buildings. She just learned about that when she was talking with Isabella.
Moving on, Alexandra spent her time reading inside the library before she had her tea party with her father and her brother, Christian. After that, she talked with the people working inside the palace and she actually had fun with them. They were really friendly and energetic, especially Rowan and Isabella. Rowan is the type of person who could either be someone annoying or someone you are thankful that he exists. Even so, Isabella felt the urge to throw him out of the window because of how he would act and such.
Isabella was also a cheerful and energetic person. She was close with Rowan although she would get angry if someone calls Rowan as her friend. "What do you mean by that? That idiot airhead is my friend? As if! I would rather die than become his friend!" Was what Isabella would say, the maids told Alexandra about it. Even them, they think that they are an unusual duo. Alexandra thought of how they would work together without thinking of not slitting each other's throats, but they working together peacefully would be quite shocking or impossible. It would be weird or very unusual.
Now, Alexandra is walking up the stairs, heading towards the study room where Ferdinand is waiting because he would teach her again. Ferdinand was a really skilled tutor, he was knowledgeable in almost all of the fields and he was very kind too. He was also good at teaching, Alexandra was able to memorize and remember some things that he taught easily because of him. His way of teaching was completely different from other teachers that Alexandra encountered before in her previous life. No wonder he was the one who taught the princes but he must be having a hard time when he was teaching them.
Alexandra aspires to become a person like him who is smart and knowledgeable but she doesn't want to teach others because she is really bad at teaching. She is rather short-tempered and if ever she tried to teach, there would be flying pencils or books. "Did I just taught you that? Why did you forget it so easily?" It would probably be one of her lines if ever she tried to teach but it depends on the person he is teaching. It would probably harder to teach adults or teenagers rather than kids. Ferdinand must be patient enough to deal with the princes.
Alexandra arrived in front of the wooden door of the study room while Carlos was standing beside her. She smoothened out the wrinkles and creases of her dress and fixed her hair trying to make herself look presentable as much as possible. She fixed her collar and she took in a deep breath as Carlos opened the door for her before she entered. The insides of the room were slowly being revealed to her and she saw Ferdinand sitting on one of the chairs in front of the desks as he was rummaging through his bag.
When he heard the sound of the door opening, it grabbed his attention and made him look at Alexandra's direction. She just entered and she was walking towards him while Carlos was closing the door behind him as he followed Alexandra. He stood up and showed her a gentle yet subtle smile, "A pleasant afternoon, young miss," Ferdinand said as he bowed his head to show respect. Alexandra smiled back at him and nodded before she responded in a gentle tone of voice which sound soothing and pleasant to the ears, "A pleasant afternoon to you too, Ferdinand. I am sorry if I made you wait for so long," Alexandra said as she went around the desk and sat on the chair behind it. As she pulled the chair near the desk, it screeched against the floor and made a high-pitched sound which made her wince.
Ferdinand waited for the young miss to settle in her seat before he spoke once again, "Have you finished answering the worksheet that I have given you, young miss? I think it was just a two-page one," Was what Ferdinand said, "Oh," Alexandra muttered under her breath before she rummaged through the drawers of her desk as she was looking for the worksheet. Thankfully, she was able to find it immediately as it was stored inside the third drawer and placed on top of all of the papers inside.
"Here, I answered it all without asking for anyone's help or looking through the books. Some of the answers to the questions were the ones that you taught me before and I was still able to recall it," Alexandra said as she handed him the worksheet which he gladly took and smiled widely at him. Her face beaming with joy as she spoke, there was a sparkle residing in her eyes like always. Alexandra looked like she was glowing or something, her usual friendly and bubbly demeanor was there but it felt like she was completely different. The effects of talking and getting along with the people working in the palace, probably.
Ferdinand hummed and nodded multiple times as he went through her answers in the worksheet. He was nodding multiple times and there was a satisfied expression across his face as he looked at it, it seems like Alexandra's answers were correct. It took him 5 minutes before he was able to finish reading and going through it, a smile was seen spread across his lips. "You got it all correct. As expected from you, young miss. I am amazed that you are still able to remember our previous topics and lessons from before," Ferdinand said and Alexandra just smiled and nodded at him as a response to what he said.
Just like what I said before, his way of teaching was completely different from other teachers and Ferdinand was a really skilled tutor, he was knowledgeable in almost all of the fields. "So shall we start already?" Ferdinand asked her and Alexandra nodded as she said, "Yes."
