Chapter 235 - A Bad Timing

The evening night specifies the start of a creepy darkness. Creatures from the shadows that had been lurking in the day, begun to creep out from their own bases. Mostly, on this night occur the most gruesome incidents and even the premeditated murders. People of the night begin their own schemes and skewed actions from the shadows of the night.

It was also the time when Su Ci Yi and her company arrived at the mainland. If there wouldn't have been any mishap on the yacht that transported their group from the Island to the mainland, they would have already arrived at an earlier time.

Su Ci Yi wouldn't worry and felt that anxious about getting back so fast.

It's ironic to think that the woman was so aloof and distant whenever other people got involved but turned into a wolf in human clothing when her loved ones are included. This was one of her traits that he had discovered for the long time spending with her. And she's especially brutal and unforgiving if this involved Su Ming.

The moment the car stopped in front of the old custom style villa, there were two new guards watching from the guardhouse. The villa was quiet tonight, but it was what to be expected since it was night. But then, Qin Yu could pinpoint that he felt something off within the air.

He looked around to observe the surrounding.

"Why do you say you can't let us in?" Su Ci Yi was intrigued. She was not acquainted with the new guard at all. It's possible that they didn't know the full members of the household and knew nothing of her?

"There must be some misunderstanding, Ma'am. The master of the house isn't home yet and we are not allowed to let someone enter this abode." The guard professionally explained and insisted on not taking them in.

Su Ci Yi raised her eyebrows, "We'll I am one of the masters here. I live here."

"We will verify first. Just a moment, please."

The guard went inside the house. Probably to ask for her name's confirmation. It didn't take long before they come back but when they returned, their answer is still a big fat NO.

"There must be some mistake. There might be someone who existed here with the same name as yours, but that Madam was long gone. Now, please return, we don't want to resort to brute force."

She could have vouched for the confirmation of her existence if she could contact Su Ming. However, at this point, she could still cannot. Something's not right from the very first beginning which made the perfunctory Su Ci Yi's heart trembled.

"How could that be? I am still alive! Where is Su Ming right now? I'll go to her and confirmed it directly. Just give me the address of her location?"

The two guards keeping watch on the gate looked at each other. They went to the inner part of the guardhouse, not even batting a second look. And Su Ci Yi had just blatantly been ignored!

For these two guards, it's better to get away from her to avoid ruckus that might spark in this conversation.

Su Ci Yi was angry. She didn't expect this to happen. How could she be ready about this elusive situation? This is the first time that her emotions were turbulent because of an unpredictable scenario.

She wanted to hack these two guards, but Su Ci Yi knew it was wrong. She is a cultivator and one that didn't need to act in haste.

But where should she put this emotion that is too wild and chaotic! Rampaging and like a blazing fire that couldn't put off.

"Yi..." For the first time, she felt Qin Yu's presence at her side. He was still here, beside her. She thought that he had gone back home after she went down to the car.

"Yi... let's go back and sort things out. There must be something wrong here, this is why I ask you to be here in the morning. Seems that we went on the wrong timing."

The night passed and morning came.

A white taxi stopped in front of their villa. Su Ci Yi came down from Qin Yu's BMW and ran towards the front gate. A young woman dressed in a black skirt with an obsidian satin veil on her face, went down the taxi.

"Su Ming!"

Su Ci Yi shouted while running to her side.

Su Ming who had just come from the burial ground had gloomy and misty eyes. Her mind was floating at this moment, and when she saw the newcomer, she just shrugged her off.

"Hey!"

Su Ci Yi called again.

Su Ming turned to her direction. Looked at the person calling her intimately and raised her eyebrows,

What went out from her mouth almost horrified Su Ci Yi that the first thing that slid to her head is Baronette.

Su Ming firmly held the pouch on her hand and stare at her for a while, when she couldn't remember the person in front of her, she innocently asked,

"Miss, did you call for me? Who are you?"
