Chapter 234 - Going Back Home

"Yi-er, be sure to come back here with Xiao Yu. Remember to urge this man no matter what because we all know he only visits his parent's home once in a blue moon. If he's with you, then we can see him once in a while. We're leaving him in your care and watch him carefully. We don't want him to collapse because of his workaholic stubbornness."

Qin Ting reminded Su Ci Yi one morning where when they are set to go home. Time swiftly flies and her one week vacation is over. Although, she's pretty sure that she only did is to cultivate, eat, teach her new recruit disciple and idle all day. It was such a warm and homey feeling once in a while.

She didn't know if she could go back again since this time is only a facade. Now, she would leave this matter to Qin Yu since she's out of this after this event.

Qin Ting didn't let herself be left out and on the race of 'who-gave-a-lot-of-souvenirs', she didn't lose. She gave Su Ci Yi a lot of her trinkets and personal jewelry that she thought would be useful to her. The woman thought that Su Ci Yi is a rare kind of in-laws that didn't have an interest in fascinating her appearance that she didn't wear any kind of jewelry except for a brilliant ring on her finger.

Su Ci Yi weight all the treasure she gave and it seemed the stones were genuine. Of course, what would be her reaction but to be a little timid upon receiving those items but deep inside, a whole volcano had erupted in her core. She couldn't contain her excitement that she needed to bit her lip to hide those emotions. Who knows how much this would pitch in a pawnshop!

"We'll be going mom, dad" Su Ci Yi bade her last farewell, not forgetting to show a bit of hesitation when bidding goodbye.

Qin Fourong nodded. But before he let go, he planted a forehead kiss on his only grandson- Qin Tao. Qin Ting hugged her son for a long time. She only let go when her husband patted her on her shoulder, urging to let him go.

From afar stood the black-tinted BMW of Qin Yu. The sun wasn't still scorching hot and a warm light engulfing the interior of the car. "Master!!! Did you finish your farewells? Can I enter the car now?!" Mai can't take her excitement inside and bounce up and down at her place. This is her first time going out of the island and she was very excited. Thinking over the adventures she will make, the new people she will meet, and also the foods and snacks that are very different from the Island, she felt restless and jovial.

Su Ci Yi decided to bring her over, for there will be a lot of things that she needed to teach to her. There was no issue with Mai's parents, anyway. She said she will bring her to assist with her job on the mainland. When hearing this, Aunt Mei tear her eyes and immediately urge Mai to pack up her things and follow her.

" Oh, but we are still on the Island. What if someone would abruptly pop up on the side and be suspicious? Henceforth, we must be careful at all costs. Usually, the last part is the most blood turning and suspense. Unexpected things might happen when we expect it the least."
