Chapter 239 - Qin Yu's Days

FIVE YEARS LATER...

A blue-painted Rolls Royce stopped in front of the Su Villa.

The exquisite exterior of the car was too blinding to the surroundings that even if one wouldn't look at it, it'll catch the attention of nearby people - how much more to the eyes of the couple staying full time inside the villa.

Different cars with their varied designs parked on that same place- just under the shed of a century-old oak tree.

Lately, the people inside noticed a mysterious car lurking just a few meters away from their own residence.

Its daily routine of parking is too dubious on their part, even though at this point in time, it was still harmless.

Father and Mother Su didn't know if the car was brought by a different person each day or it was owned by a single man entirely.

If it was the first reason, then not only one person is eyeing on them, it might be a notorious group of whom they had a debt into. But if these cars belong to one man, then this man was a heck of a wealthy person.

Who wouldn't be? When almost every day, with different colors of his Rolls Royce, was stalking in front of their villa!

The couple didn't show their aggressiveness at first. They were still observing if this would cause them harm. Unexpectedly, the car would only observe from the sideline for a couple of minutes, then after getting tired would eventually turn around and leave.

Unknown to their expectation, the person inside the car was none other than Qin Yu. Within these five years, the Qin Corporation had tremendously grown into society and it even overpowered some foreign industries outside the country. In these past years, his sole focus was on his company that he was able to pull its tremendous growth.

Within this late year, he never took an absence from visiting Su Ci Yi's villa. Observing if the woman had come back from her seclusion. Although the girl promised to return to him first after she came back, still he couldn't sit back and wait for her.

But when he thought it was almost five years since she was gone, Qin Yu felt disturbed by his emotions. 

Because of Su Ci Yi's disposition, he actually read fantasy novels about Xianxia and cultivation. He also researched what kind of abilities these people had and the technical know-how's regarding how this works. Sooner, he discovered that when a person went into seclusion; they spend their entire years meditating and improving their cultivation level inside a secluded area far from civilization. A cultivator, when wanted to gain and improve his strength and level up his cultivation, would take time to seclude for over a couple of years but almost all of them went to spend inside in a long span of decades!

Damn it!

What if Su Ci Yi came back after fifty years in time or more?!

Would that mean he's already old and senile at that time while she was still glowing in her youthful visage?!

That was why every day, Qin Yu monitors if there's a commotion inside the villa. To immediately know if she came back then. Because the way she is, he's so sure that she'll visit Su Ming first hand.

After accomplishing his mission for the day, Qin Yu left and returned home.

"Dad! You're here."

Qin Tao immediately ran to his father, who came from work. Knowing he had brought his favorite chocolate bar, his face twitched in an imaginable smile.

He immediately grabbed the food snack from his father's hand and ran to his room without turning back.

"You're bringing food in your room? Get down here and eat at the dining table."

Qin Yu shouted from the disappearing back of his son and couldn't help but to sigh deeply.

Qin Tao grew from the autistic and unapproachable kid to an energetic and naughty boy. Who would have thought he likes to play and pull pranks on him now? And lately, he'd be too engrossed with his own spiritual stuff that Su Ci Yi left.

Since Su Ci Yi came into their life, everything had changed. And the relationship between the two became even more close than ever before.

Although sometimes, Qin Tao would dream about his master in his sleep, the child, even for once, never asked for his master's whereabouts.

A child like him even knew how to be patient and wait for her.

He's even more patient than he is!

*Knock *Knock *

Qin Yu followed to his room and knock before going in. When no one answered, he went inside. He saw his child already stuffing a bar of chocolates in his mouth.

"We're eating dinner."

"I'm not going to eat. I'm already full."

Qin Tao blurted and return his attention to the chocolate bar in his hand.

Qin Yu had no choice but to go over to his bed and if he would still refuse, he will just drag him to the dining table. It's not good to skip meals and eat unhealthy snacks. He should have hidden the chocolate bar when he arrived earlier!

But as soon as he went near him, Qin Tao jumped out of his bed and swiftly run past him. He even saw him turn his head, stick out a tongue to him, and bolted the door shut.

See, he's even livelier than ever before. Sometimes it's just too consuming of energy dealing with him.

He must have been getting old these days.

A little later, when he went down and proceeded to the dinner table, his servant came to him in flurried footsteps and with a direct message,

" Young Master, the lady Lei was in front of our door just now..."

Qin Yu scrunched his eyebrows, Lin Fei Fei was always in his home, what's the need to panic? His servant knew this full well.

"It's Lin Fei, what of it?"

The servant paused for a while, then added, "Young Master, the old Yulin was with her."
