Chapter 247 - A little trouble

The bright light of the night that was akin to the glittering gems was what showered in front of their eyes. Su Ci Yi's group came to the City during the night when the establishment is in its peak business. 

As a person with three people behind her, Mai, Sang Shui and Jing Sang... the first problem that occurred to her was the resting place that they would temporarily stay into the night.

She had been in seclusion for almost five years and when she left at that time, she didn't bring any money with her and she doubts Mai had anything with her right now. Jing Sang followed them hastily, and he didn't bring anything with him.

Even if he brought one along, the currency at that place differed from the city. 

So his only hope lies in Sang Shui...

"So, it's on me, now. " Sang Shui proudly puffed his chest. It's a good thing that he never left his pouch without coins. Now he can use it here.

Su Ci Yi led them inside an inn. They will get two rooms at the same time. Mai will stay with her while the boys will have their own.

When Sang Shui was about to pay for their charge, the lady in charge frowned seeing the trinket that he presented in his hand. It was rusty and ancient.

Holy moly! Su Ci Yi's eyes widen, seeing the currency he had in his hand was from that village!

She took Sang Shui from the corner and discuss it with him.

"Hey, hey, your money can't be use here. Did you bring some of your treasures with you? Maybe we can use that."

Sang Shui guiltily shook his head. "It's quite dangerous to bring it along. So I didn't pack it with my things."

Such a naive child, oblivious of the current undertakings of the world!

Ai, sigh.

Her shoulders droop down. Right now, they looked like a jungle person that had only come down from mountains to the city.

Now looking over, even their garments were old-fashioned and rugged robes. Each passing person couldn't help but pass a doubtful stare on their group.

"D*mn it! This is why the Chief won't let us get out of the village. It's because of this place filled with pollution and malice. One can tell it all, the atmosphere is heavy and hard to breathe."

Jing Sang complained while searching for a place to sit.

He nonchalantly seated on the ground as if he didn't care in the world even if people are staring at him with a funny look.

Mai didn't step away and always stuck behind her master, while his own negligence embarrassed Sang Shui and blamed his naivety.

Now, they had no room to stay in the night. The receptionist earlier chased them out seeing that they couldn't even afford to stay in this cheapest hotel.

Su Ci Yi couldn't come back to the villa since she was already blacklisted by Su Ming there. And moreover, she couldn't go to the mansion since she had a lot of people with her. Although she already notified the mansion of her arrival earlier, as of now no response came.

Walking on the street, the group of four looked like rugged people with their clothes. Even Sang Shui's garments were dirtied and even looked more ugly than ever before.

A few walk away, there is a park near the highway. They went to this place to rest for a bit. They had pack foods earlier and only a meager hard bun was left.

Deciding to withdraw some amount of cash in her bank account, Su Ci Yi went back to the villa and tried to find her debit card. She could only sneak for a short amount of time and couldn't stay longer or the security might notice her. As soon as she finished her business in the villa, she immediately returned.

It took her half an hour before he returned to the bench park where she had left the three. She couldn't leave those three for a long time for fear that they might provoke disorder in the night and sure enough, when she came, her companions were already the center of attraction!

Jing Sang had been the center of a few good samaritan people, where they give him their untouched snacks. As if people were just drawn to him, giving him food and whatever they had in their possession. He isn't a beggar, yah know!

Mai didn't know what to do and dawdle on the sideline while waiting for her.

On the other side, Sang Shui became the center of attention of some teenage girls doing selfies and groupies with him in the center. Some even forcefully tried to touch his face and grope him while on the account of taking photos. The man obviously didn't like it, but he just let them do it. It wasn't his territory, and he's afraid to offend them and caused trouble for Su Ci Yi.

As the crowd they were creating, became large that it almost took the attention of the passers-by; even creating a big commotion. 

Su Ci Yi ran to stop them but a group of patrolling cops race on her and immediately seize their group. 

From afar, she saw how Jing Sang attacked the cops, and single-handedly thrown him off on his back, Sang Shui rushed up and stop him. 

Seeing how the law enforcer somersault in the air because of Jing Sang's attacked, Su Ci Yi was horrified. Who knows what kind of punishment they would be charged after with this incident!

The onlookers even became interested in the group and a crowd of people began to surround them.

The two cops didn't step back and called for back up. The next moment, there was another loud siren from the police car disrupting the usual tranquil night.

Dang. The situation even became chaotic.

Su Ci Yi decided to come and apologized. But even she, was caught up and brought along to their headquarters. The four of them were split apart and he was with Sang Shui.

Jing Sang and Mai were led to another car.
