Chapter 248 - What A Bad Timing...

Just when the group of four people was taken to the headquarters, a flashy red sports car stopped by from a distance. The night is dark. Even if he would open the car window, no one would recognize his face.

There, with a puff, the man inhaled the intoxicating aroma of the populated city. Since he had been stuck on the set, he hadn't had time to consider going into a stroll.

Ling Mo is a top-rated actor of this country. He had a charismatic, handsome face that will make anyone head over heels for him. Because of this face and his acting talent that he is famous right now.

But this mundane fame of his comes with an exchange. There are no freebies nowadays!

He used beauty products sponsored by his agency, as well as a monthly check-up and advice in a dermatologist. He didn't go out under the sun or eat whatever he liked for fear that it'll influence his smooth skin!

But those men that he could see... they were rugged that he doubted they could afford to go to derma and attain those beauty products! Their skin was even glowing naturally!

Envied strike him as he didn't dare to prolong his gaze unto them. 

But what made him surprised at the moment was the companion of those people to begin with!

The one whom he had been looking for almost five years!

"Follow that patrol car!" Firm and resolute tone as he requested his driver follow in front.

Inside the narrow, stench filled room, four people crammed and seated in front of a chaotic and messy table. There was also a computer monitor situated in front, but the person was busy piling reports of the recent incidents that had just recently come.

The cop in-charge was only reading it as if he had already forgotten the existence of the four.

Su Ci Yi was a little anxious about Jing Sang. The man had an explosive temper and might even explode if he waited a little longer. This time, she already regretted bringing him with her.

What was she even thinking in the first place? 

Her worries were cut short when for the first time, the person that dragged them into this place spoke in a languid manner.

She handed the number which she only knew as her relative and the cop dialed it.

The number connected immediately and thus answered.

"Who is it?"

The grumpy tone from the other side seemed to be so moody. He woke up from his deep slumber when the phone rang. It was his personal phone and thought it was already her. But when it was the police hotline department, he was disappointed.

Qin Yu's husky tone was visible on the other end.

" It seemed that we woke you up, Sire. This is the C City police department and on behalf of the person we would like to know your confirmation..."

"What is it? Just get to the point."

Su Ci Yi heard his tone and was somewhat hesitant if she had made this right choice. She hadn't seen the man for five years and things might be different from back then.

Especially when human feelings can be easily changed and influence.

Su Ci Yi grabbed the phone and turn it off. " I might have given the number of my relatives wrongly. We'll stay here for the night. "

Anyway, what's the deal with staying inside, when they could eat free food inside?

"Are you sure you really wanted to stay?"

"Yes, please take care of us, just tonight."

Su Ci Yi thought it's not bad to stay the night in a detention cell eh? Aside from there will be a rooftop, they could eat food for free!

Tomorrow, when they came out, she will rent an apartment for them.

On the other side of the phone call, when the call disconnected, Qin Yu was quite surprised. Su Ci Yi and her company were temporarily confined in a spacious, empty room. They should have been behind the bars of a detention cell, however, the cop seemed to be concerned that they would only cram with two giant person with her.

Therefore, they were led to a much more normal room. The food is free and there are extra beddings. There was also a free movie marathon right next to their room, which is the resting place of a few police officers who are on off duty.

How good to live if everything is a free ah?

It really saved a night of spending on Su Ci Yi's wallet!

However, her jolly mood was only short-lived, when a cop informed her that someone was claiming her and bailed her to go home.

Her eyebrows creased and before she could ask, a familiar handsome face appeared in front of her door.

"Hey, seems that you are having a good time at this place?"

While saying this, his eyes were scrutinizing the place while his hand was blocking his nose from the stench that came from the room. After doing so, he continued to talk in a muffled tone,

" First, let's get out of this place. It really sticks. How could you people stay and be comfortable here?"
